Very beautiful restaurant excellent service delicious drinks my friend recommends the leeche martini delicious fish and salad we choose to do "SEA" not land they pay importance to detail silverware is cleared between courses the wait staff is clean extremely professional and just delicious food its worth the $$$$ as I was explaining to the very pleasant manager with everything so delicious and beautiful including the restaurant and of course we are paying for all this elegance why is the dessert menu ripped and torn?? He was as baffled as me?but I would definitely return

Beautiful place located in Roslyn, this is an upscale place with the prices to match, the service was excellent, an attentive staff with good suggestions, the food was very good, they started with the complementary pita bread with an excellent side of Hummus , and we ordered for appetizers the Octopus and the Fried Calamari, they were both delicious and perfectly cooked, our main course was the Fabri Fish for two, and the Salmon, and a dide of Lemon Potatoes. Both were cooked very well, the flavors were good, and the potatoes were very tasty. We finished with the Molten Chocolate and a Yogurt. Delicious.

Loved my brunch experience at Limani Roslyn! The sushi, shrimp cocktail, and lobster were absolute highlights. The tiramisu was amazing! The staff were super attentive and made sure everything was perfect. They kept refilling our waters and asking if we were doing alright. They didn't rush us at all. The restaurant itself is gorgeous - plenty of space and tons of natural light. They have valet service so bring some cash for tip money. However, I had to give it a 4 stars out of 5 because my friends and I thought it was strange how it was a Hampton Water event and didn't include a complimentary glass. We did end up buying the Hampton Water Bubbly because it was delicious after we tried a sample from their brand ambassador. But, we were offered 1 complimentary glass of either Bellini (the Bellini was delicious), Bloody Mary, or Mimosa which was included in the brunch $80 price. Oh and they included an 18% gratuity service charge to the check for the 3 of us.

Food is delicious, they also have outdoor dining. Our server was great. They also have a large selection of wine. I am looking forward to return for the brunch

Great meal last night - Saturday night, winter-time. Very crowded. Sat in the bar area, could have waited for a table beyond our reservation time, but whatever. Got to sit in Nestor's section which is always a treat. Swordfish was next-level. Best I've had here.

I had a decent lunch at Limani prior to a business meeting. The atmosphere is pretty and welcoming where the servers were very attentive for lunch. The salmon kebab with fries was light and cooked perfectly. The deconstructed baklava was just ok (prefer traditional baklava). I would easily come back, as they weren't busy on a Wed afternoon and I could actually plug my computer in, take calls, and get some work done.

A beautiful Mediterranean restaurant located in Roslyn, about a block away from the Americana Manhasset Mall. The place has free valet parking which often gets filled up on Fridays and Saturdays for dinner in which you would need to find your own street parking. I came here to celebrate a birthday and we did family style. First, they give complimentary Pita bread in a basket as well as hummus dip which is very good. Next, we ordered appetizers to share: the best and crispiest fried calamari I think which goes amazingly with the green sauce, a stack of Limani Chips that compose of zucchini and egg plants both of which I don't usually like but taste great with the white sauce, and grilled octopus which is deliciously made with a variety of vegetables. For the main entree, we shared a lobster pasta and two side orders of lemon potatoes. The lobster shell is placed on the plate just for aesthetics as all the meat is already placed inside the pasta. The pasta is not dry at all. It consists of garlic and white wine. I love when it first comes out hot and steamy. The Lemon potatoes are one of my favorites. They are seasoned with olive oil and lemon juice - makes you want to keep eating it. Lastly, for dessert I ordered the Greek Yogurt which tastes splendid with the honey, berry compote, some kind of fruit, and some nut crumbles. I made a reservation a week prior on OpenTable for a birthday celebration and I added a note to put Happy Birthday on the dessert. But I was disappointed to find that they missed my note completely. In fact, the table next to us actually had "Happy Birthday" sprinkled onto their plate along with a candle. Will definitely walk up to the waiter next time to plant the surprise for the next person I celebrate with!

I went here for lunch. Had the lunch special. Food and drinks were. ok. Service was mediocre. The place itself was beautiful inside. They had parking which is always a plus. Will try one more time but for dinner. I actually went to the other location in Woodbury and the service was much better (will write a review on that as well )

We were there yesterday for a friend's birthday. They sat us down all the way in a congested corner despite having plenty of tables empty around us. Not only that, they sat another couple right next to us to make things worse. Multiple times my friend was pushed by the waiters while they passed through the congested space between the chairs. Even though they apologized, they kept on repeating it. By the behavior of the staff it was quite obvious that they favored other customers than us considering that the couple and our group were placed in a corner. We were pretty much segregated away from others. I have never experienced this kind of neglect and discrimination at a restaurant before. The same group of my friends have dined out at multiple restaurants. And an upscale restaurant to have such a culture is quite disheartening. Needless to say, we will never return and will advise everyone we know not to return as we may not be good enough to fit into the standards of Limani's other patrons. Food overall was ok. My salmon was decent. But we should have brought along a magnifying glass to find the lobster because it was almost nonexistent in the lobster pasta. The desserts were also nothing special. By giving them two stars, I'm being very generous!

My boyfriend brought me here for lunch, and it was a beautiful experience. The lighting in this place was bright and vibrant. All the tables were set ready for service. We both had two espresso martinis. They were really good since this is one of my favorite drinks right now I was happy with the outcome. For appetizer, we had the raw oysters which were of course amazing and the octopus which was grilled well and had a generous amount of onions. I do understand that this is a Mediterranean restaurant and they use a lot of olive oil. I would prefer to have a little less with an octopus, but overall it was good. For our entrée, my boyfriend had the salmon that was accompanied with mixed vegetables which contained cauliflower, broccoli and string beans. His salmon was cooked well and he enjoyed it. For myself, I ordered the swordfish which I could've sworn was on a skewer by presentation but as I was cutting it, I realized it wasn't if you are familiar with swordfish you know that it has the consistency of chicken with how meaty it is this is one of the reasons I get it because I do enjoy the texture and it being accompanied with onions, tomato and peppers. This dish came with a side of lemon potatoes which were good. My boyfriend enjoyed a cappuccino after lunch and for dessert we had a cake that he loves. I honestly can't remember the name of it. I do remember it having some type of a nut in it and they also gave us a yogurt and fruit dessert that was delicious. Service of course was great. The ambience is wonderful they have fresh fish displayed. This is a really good seafood restaurant to try.

Great food. Very loud restaurant. I came for a Thursday night dinner reservation and we had to wait an extra 20 minutes on the side of the road because there was no available parking. It was packed. Cars were lined up awkwardly like Tetris. Once we finally parked, the inside was so loud. Decoration was pretty nice but simple. Our waiter was alright, but all of the staff were rushing and were more panicky since it was so busy that night. The complimentary pita bread and dips were amazing and so addicting. The pita was crunchy and had a nice smoky flavor that I loved. For appetizers, we ordered the fried calamari and scallops. The calamari was very yummy and easy to chew. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were also very good. Entrees consisted of the loup de mer, the black sea bass for two, and the filet mignon, with a side of grilled vegetables. The loup de mer was very tasty. The fish was very soft and had a prominent taste of olive oil, but had a subtle flavor. Not too much lemon flavor. The black sea bass had the same flavor as the loup de mer, but was stiffer and more pricey for one person than the loup de mer. The filet mignon was super tender and soft: a really good cut of beef. The grilled vegetables were an enjoyable side and were packed with flavor too. We tried the galaktoboureko for dessert which had layers of crunchy phyllo, custard cream in the middle, and vanilla ice cream under all of it. It was pretty good. It kind of tasted like cereal. Overall, my experience was hindered by the sheer number of people and the loudness of the restaurant. But really great mediterranean food!

We came here for lunch and the place is amazing. We ordered the lunch prix fixe, which is $30, seven days until 3pm. They also have a la carte options. We ordered wine and a cocktail, both were amazing. For the three course menu, we ordered the following: Chicken Lemon Soup - amazing with the right amount of chicken, broth, and lemon put together to create that perfect taste Loup de Mer and Salmon - portions were plentiful and tasted fresh. We also got a side of sautéed spinach and garlic, which was amazing. Walnut cake - small portion, wish we could have more. I'd definitely return. FYI, lunch prix fixe applies to parties up to 8 people.

    Ask the Community - Limani

Are they still have the Sunday brunch?

    Yes they do!

    Is there a dress code?

Place is nice, guess it depends on when you go and time. I'd say classy casual.

Is it wheelchair or walker accessible?

Yes, from what I recall there are no stairs or door sills to negotiate.

Is this a good place for single 30-something's to meet and mingle?

Probably not the best spot for that. I'd try Louie's in Port Washington (although different overall vibe), 388 in Albertson by the bar or Cafe Continental. Good luck!

Is it wheelchair accessible including restrooms?

    Yes

Is valeting your car mandatory? Do they have a private lot where you can park yourself?

Yes there isn't any parking besides Valet parking ... no street parking ...

Most of us hadn't been to the establishment since it became Plori, and only knew it as the Italian place! The staff was so sweet and accommodating and brought us to our table immediately - a nice quiet corner. We decided to go for a full on tapas style meal by ordering all their apps and only a couple mains and desserts. The highlights for me were the octopus - cooked SO perfectly, it's a must try!!! The Plori crisps, reminiscent of the ones from Kyma - so so so good!! The sauce on the side balanced it out SO perfectly! Their breads and dips were top notch as well! But the star of the show was their signature dessert - a Greek napoleon of sorts which had raspberry and crunchy bits - absolutely insane and out of this world!!!! While they did forget a couple of our items, and we had to remind them, it was overall a great experience, the only real con for me was the cost - it was definitely on the pricier side and portions were smaller than what we were paying for! We ordered both the falafel platter and the chicken souvlaki platter, and both delivered. The chicken souvlaki was perfectly cooked with a great grilled char that added nice flavor without drying it out. Comes with Greek salad, fries or rice. Rice was cooked nicely and the fries were perfectly seasoned with salt and herbs (oregano). The Greek salad was assembled closer to an authentic Greek salad. Fresh ingredients and none of the ridiculous leafy greens, and no black olives here! Rough chop with the right stuff; cucumbers, tomatoes, red onions, green bell peppers, kalamata olives and feta cheese. My only critique on the salad was that it was crumbled feta and not the traditional block feta with drizzled, extra-virgin olive oil and oregano. Still better than most out there. Service was just fine--nothing over the top, but efficient and friendly enough to keep things moving smoothly. Overall, Twisted Greek is a good choice if you're in the area and craving flavorful, well-prepared fast Greek food whether you're dining in briefly or grabbing something to go.
