We had such a great time here for my daughter's 2nd birthday. The facility and decorations were perfect. My daughter played the entire time and would have loved to have stayed longer. There was lots to do and enough space that guests could socially distance. The ages of the children ranged from 1-7, and there was something to do for all of them. I would highly recommend them for parties or play dates.

I checked out LilyPad recently and was seriously impressed. I've been to Red Balloon a handful of times but sometimes my little guy ended up overwhelmed by the noise or the active big kids. LilyPad is geared for kids 6 and under so it was excellent for my three and one year olds. There are different zones of play: arts and crafts, infant toys, climbing, trains, riding toys, kitchen and probably some I'm forgetting. Except for the arts and crafts area, everything is carpeted which is great for noise and little walkers. There were even infant loungers for the extra young set. I hadn't had a chance to have coffee yet so I was very thankful the kitchen had some for purchase, along with a ton of snacks (fruit, mac n'cheese cups, raisins, animal crackers etc) all for for $1. LilyPad is pretty new so I truly don't have any constructive criticism as everything was well cared for and clean. I'll certainly be back soon- it looks like there are even classes and a party space. A+ new addition to the kids' scene!

I decided to give it a try during their week of free classes in early January, and I'm so glad I did! Everyone was friendly, and they took a little more time to breakdown some of the dances since there were so many new people visiting that week. I would describe DANCEFIX as a more "dance version" of Zumba. There's a mix of Latin, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop etc. which makes it appeal to multiple people. It's high energy and lot of cardio, so everyone is sweating by the end of it. It took an amount of concentration to follow the different routines, but I felt so good afterwards and was excited to try it again. This particular studio is smaller, but it made it easy to see the instructor and even with a full house, there was plenty of room to move around. It was difficult to find, so know that it's inside one of the buildings and directly across from the Sleepy Bee. They have a cool down period at the end of class (they provide yoga mats or you can bring your own) with some short exercises and stretching. Wear footwear that you're comfortable in, but I would highly recommend wearing jazz sneakers or something that's easy to do spins and turns to prevent risk of injury. Give it a try and have a blast!

They have two studios, one in the front and one in the back. I've enjoyed a few of their Saturday sweat sessions 90 minutes where you're exposed to a variety of instructors - boot camp, barre, mat pilates and this past Monday enjoyed Kristine's mat pilates class - I really missed a good pilates class and found it here at the LB. The good thing is you pay per class, so you're not tied into a membership, at times life is really busy, but knowing you can sign up & take a class from a variety of instructors is a win win in Cincinnati.

Does not feel thrown together, everything appears well picked out and aesthetically pleasing. I immediately felt pampered and welcomed when I arrived. The staff is really nice and friendly, they were inviting and "non-judgey". They are happy to answer questions and show you around. There are free snacks, coffee, water, lemon water, etc. available as well as beautiful spacious changing rooms and restrooms in the locker area. The main fitness floor is open to the lobby which was a little distracting for me but I also enjoyed the view. The space was really nice with somewhat frosted mirrored walls and a ballet bar. I took the HIRT Bootcamp class and my instructor Melody was amazing you could tell she has made a career of helping people and instructing classes. She was super fit and was a great role model for fitness and health. I got a great workout and would love to return here soon!

I've been to few other zumba classes around but I stuck with RJ for the last year. For one thing, she's very friendly and makes you feel comfortable even when you first start and you think you're not doing as good as the rest of the class. She keeps sending those positive vibes throughout the class that encourage you to keep working. Her music choices are great, mostly a mix of Latin music but she also adds a little from the new hits and some international like belly dance and Bollywood. Rachelle has different classes like zumba toning which is my favorite now you easily burn out tons of calories and get your muscles toned at the same time. she also has zumba gold and she's been promoting for her body-sculpt bootcamp for a while now. I've never tried her bootcamp but will probably give it a try some time soon especially with the offers she has on it. and speaking of offers, follow her on facebook to keep an eye on the deals, punch card giveaways and free public classes she offers every now and then. her classes take place in different locations but I usually go to the Oakley community center since it's closer to where I live. my only complaint is that since her classes are becoming more popular, it gets packed at some peak times so she really needs to open more classes especially for the zumba toning class! RJ fitness zumba is totally recommended it's fun, healthy and you get to meet a lot of cheerful and happy ladies there :-)
