When my mom went to ask how much was left, the person at the bar said we finished it all. When she asked to see the empty bottles, they said they already threw everything away. I think it should be required to show the empty bottles used up at the end of the party. Just seemed pretty weird to me and made me question the integrity of the establishment.

I want to express my deep disappointment with the management at La Fontaine. We have used this…read moreballroom for multiple events over the years, including my own wedding, but this recent experience was by far the worst. Our niece's 15th party on 7/12 had several issues starting with the setup. Two main decor features listed in the contract were not installed. When we raised this with the manager on duty, Mr. Sergio , we were told these features were missing and too late to be set up. The decor manager should have proactively informed us about the shortfall and arranged a credit for the missing items, but no communication was made. The decor manager did not hold any accountability that she list some decor in the ballroom. The maintenance of the ballroom also showed a significant decline. Four industrial portable AC units were in use--was this communicated beforehand? Was the main AC not functioning? If so, should we receive compensation for this? Additionally, many ceiling tiles had visible water stains hidden behind fabric. Why weren't these replaced? It feels like an attempt to hide the damage. The gold glass tables inside were dirty and not cleaned before the event as well. Customer service at the bar was equally disappointing. The bartender, Patricia, displayed a poor attitude, was slow, and lacked the energy expected in her role. My father-in-law even had to step behind the bar to help because of her slow service, which offended her. She also cut people off arbitrarily, handling the situation poorly and causing discomfort for many guests. A bartender should be upbeat, efficient, and courteous, none of which were evident. On a positive note, the manager Sergio was great trying to resolve these issues, though the decor manager did not support him well and clearly needs retraining on client communication and decor management. Overall, this experience was hugely disappointing, especially given the high price and reputation La Fontaine portrays was not refilled and run down. I hope my feedback is taken seriously to improve the quality of service in the future.

The event planners for the night, Carlos and his team were very assertive and everything ran very smoothly thanks to their attentiveness with all the details. A few dishes we found that had nuts were surprisingly the pork belly and the cheese balls. So, don't make assumptions. Plenty of parking, easy to get in/out of. We attended Briscoe Manor's open house in January 2026, which was a showcase of vendors that are familiar with the venue and samples from their in-house catering. It was a fantastic open house. Their in-house catering had short rib wellington bites being walked around, and the buffet sampler spread included a meat and cheese charcuterie board, hummus dip, French onion dip with bread, roasted vegetables, elotes, shrimp cocktails, and deviled eggs. A few hot plates available were the butternut squash rigatoni, crab asparagus, pork belly, and meat loaf. I would say my favorites were the crab asparagus and the short rib Wellington bites. The venue itself is quite beautiful. The dance floor is a bit small and is raised, so some care should be taken for mixing too much alcohol into that. A string quartet with pop music was playing and the acoustics were very nice in the main reception hall. The team seemed very friendly and the church was steps away from the reception hall (walk outside briefly, but it's entirely covered in case of rain).

I was present at the event Tammy W. is referring to, and her review does not reflect what actually happened. She was involved in a serious disruption during the event, which caused a lot of stress for the couple and guests. It's clear that this review is coming from a place of personal frustration rather than an honest assessment of the venue. From what I saw, the venue was clean and well-kept, exactly like the pictures. The bridal suite was private and comfortable, and the staff was professional and attentive throughout. I didn't witness any of the issues she's describing with noise, cleanliness, or parking. In fact, the team went above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly despite the challenging situation. It's upsetting to see someone try to damage a venue's reputation with such an unfair account. If you're considering booking here, I'd strongly encourage visiting in person or speaking with other guests--my experience was truly positive.

First things first. This was an Indian wedding and we needed Indian music. They can't do Indian…read moremusic. If you want it then you need to provide them with a list of songs. This was my biggest mistake because I thought I would be able to get a comprehensive list together, but I wasn't able to. So the Indian music was lacking. In the middle of the reception, Michael walks over to our sweetheart table and asked me, the bride, what was supposed to be happening at that moment! I had given them documents of the order of things for that very reason and we had a planner. Obviously, I would have problems remembering off the top of my head what was next. I told him the wrong thing and we had to awkwardly go back and do some things we skipped over. That was very bad form for a DJ. The DJ, Michael, would yell out things like "Saturday nights" during the dance music which obviously is not the right vibe for a wedding. He did not read the crowd well and played songs for too long when everyone was tired of it and not dancing anymore. The photobooth was not set up correctly. When Joe and I spoke about it on the phone, he said there would be 10 feet of space that the photobooth would capture but they had it set up so that there was only like 6 feet. I remember this because after I got the measurements from him, I tried to get a floral backdrop that was as wide at the picture would be able to get. I couldn't get anything bigger than an 8ft wide wall but even that wasn't fully captured. The guy monitoring the photobooth was very rude and badly behaved. He was having the time of his life (which we got in our videos) and gave me attitude about how we were still taking pictures at the end of the night. Given these issues, I would say how much we paid made sense because they were on the cheaper side (compared to Indian DJs). The uplighting made the ballroom look great.
