First things first. This was an Indian wedding and we needed Indian music. They can't do Indian music. If you want it then you need to provide them with a list of songs. This was my biggest mistake because I thought I would be able to get a comprehensive list together, but I wasn't able to. So the Indian music was lacking. In the middle of the reception, Michael walks over to our sweetheart table and asked me, the bride, what was supposed to be happening at that moment! I had given them documents of the order of things for that very reason and we had a planner. Obviously, I would have problems remembering off the top of my head what was next. I told him the wrong thing and we had to awkwardly go back and do some things we skipped over. That was very bad form for a DJ. The DJ, Michael, would yell out things like "Saturday nights" during the dance music which obviously is not the right vibe for a wedding. He did not read the crowd well and played songs for too long when everyone was tired of it and not dancing anymore. The photobooth was not set up correctly. When Joe and I spoke about it on the phone, he said there would be 10 feet of space that the photobooth would capture but they had it set up so that there was only like 6 feet. I remember this because after I got the measurements from him, I tried to get a floral backdrop that was as wide at the picture would be able to get. I couldn't get anything bigger than an 8ft wide wall but even that wasn't fully captured. The guy monitoring the photobooth was very rude and badly behaved. He was having the time of his life (which we got in our videos) and gave me attitude about how we were still taking pictures at the end of the night. Given these issues, I would say how much we paid made sense because they were on the cheaper side (compared to Indian DJs). The uplighting made the ballroom look great. We loved Michael and Manny, these guys know what they are doing. Everyone at the wedding was dancing all night long, I never saw an empty dance floor. We also like the fact that we didn't have to go up to them to request a song since everything he played was spot on. Manny did an amazing job hyping up the crowd loved that he would switch Spanish/English for all the family to understand. The lighting was soo awesome, we were blown away of how awesome it looked. Michael was the DJ at our wedding and we were very pleased. Leading up to the event the owner of the company and Michael kept in contact with us and met with us in person to go over details. We had a special recessional planned and they executed it without a hitch! The day of the wedding went really smooth, we had a few special requests that were played as planned and when a genre came on for a few songs that we didn't care for, Michael switched immediately. The only reason 4 stars were given instead of 5, was that during the cocktail hour and reception I heard both our cake cutting song and father/daughter dance being played, before those events took place, and I wish those songs would have been saved for those special times alone. The prices are very reasonable, I would definitely hire them again if I ever need a DJ. read more

Joe was absolutely phenomenal! We could not have dreamed of a better choice for DJ at our wedding! From our first meeting through wedding day, Joe was professional, accommodating and timely! He sent detailed reminder emails helping keep us on task which was such a relief to an already busy bride! He had microphones for our outdoor venue so that all of our guests could hear the vows (bonus that it coordinated with our videographer for pristine sound). Fantastic. We hired Nice Vibe for our daughter's Sweet 16 - which was a 100 person affair. They were great about ensuring they had a schedule and that they would have everything they needed at the venue. Joe was great at reading the crowd. My husband and I planned the wedding on our own and DJ Joe was extremely helpful throughout the process. He was responsive, met up with us to consult ideas, answered all of my texts and calls, overall he was very accommodating. Not to mention, his rates are fair. The DJ station and photobooth were set up nicely. The photobooth was a high quality, interactive color booth. He provided a lot of props that kept everyone entertained, including my two nieces (4 and 6 years old) who would jump in all of the pictures.
