I truly don't write a bad review unless the experience honestly warranted sharing reasoning. I found out I was pregnant when I was only 3.5 weeks. Dr. Tina Mitchell, whom is wonderful by the way, wanted to see sonograms every week. I have been paying $118 out of pocket for each sonogram the day I had one; that was the balance post insurance. I am now 10w2d. I received a call last week at 9 weeks while at work on a Tuesday mid morning by Cassie whom works the front desk. Cassie tells me I need to start paying $600 monthly towards my delivery fee and insurance deductible and make the first payment on Thursday the day of my 9week sonogram or my appointment will be canceled. Of course I didn't have $600 lying around and only given 2 days to figure it out. I'm being denied prenatal care. I was given Pamela's number whom is the "practice manager." Pamela was not professional and seemed as though she could care less. I even told her I'd have tricare prior to delivery as my honorably medically discharged war veterans boyfriend and I have had plans to marry. Once I said " tricare" he tone changed, but she is still denying me and my unborn child healthcare. I am disgusted and I can't believe a physicians office operates this way. I would not recommend this clinic. The staff members were very kind and the clinic is clean and well-run; however, the physician was inconsiderate and unhelpful. She spoke down to me, often making me feel like it was unnecessary for me to have made an appointment to begin with, even though I did have an abnormal medical issue for myself and my primary care physician agreed that a specialist was more than necessary. She didn't listen to what my actual concerns were, instead spending a considerable amount of time focusing primarily on my weight (admittedly, a fair concern but not worth spending the entire appointment on without even having had an exam yet) or getting on to me for not staying on birth control to control symptoms that, again, I was not there for nor had personally mentioned as a concern (acne, facial hair, etc.). I left my appointment with no more information than I had before and it felt like I had just wasted a few hours of my day. I don't expect to have everything figured out, she's not a magical fairy, but I do expect a level of genuine effort to gather the most information available. ****DO NOT GO HERE!!!!**** Never going back! First, my appointment was at 10 am. I wasn't called back until 10:45!! This was my 2nd visit. Hated it the first time but I decided to give it one more chance. After multiple miscarriages, I'm still not taken seriously because of my young age (20). The doctor was NOT friendly whatsoever & was super dismissive to me. She made me feel like I was wasting her time. Great staff and very friendly. Went to Doctor Mitchell for my nexplanon. However it wasn't until I got there for a procedure that I wasn't aware there was some money I had to pay for a different appointment (due to my old crappy insurance). I paid it, but I wish someone told me over the phone that I owed some money for another appointment, prior to my procedure date. read more

VERY long wait times every time, consistently. Just left for an hour in the room. Questions not really answered. Very dismissive.

I received care in a timely and efficient manner. I waited for no more than 15 minutes and every one I encountered was pleasant and professional. My questions and concerns were met with time and consideration. I received options for care that have never been presented to me before. I truly felt that my needs were put first.
