I had my complimentary consultation with Dr. Jenn today. I was disappointed. I was met by some of the loveliest administrative staff, Heather was amazing! I was excited. Heather really listened and made me feel comfortable. Then, Heather took my paperwork to the doctor. They spoke for under five minutes before they came in the room. Almost immediately, Dr. Jenn began telling me about all of these tests that I needed. She never: took my blood pressure or temperature, asked me how much I weighed or examined me in anyway. Then she told me how the testing is going to cost thousands of dollars. This is not a practice for the middle class. They should have to acknowledge that. read more

A friend recommended Dr. Jen's practice to me after I bailed on a number of gym sessions with her. My back was just hurting so much, at the time, and it felt like it took a lot of effort and teeth grinding to do daily activities, much less exert myself in the gym. I have been to a couple local chiros and either did not like the vibe I got or did not like the adjustment techniques but after looking at Heller's facebook page and getting a good vibe, I thought I should try again and made my first appointment in March. I'm so glad I did. The office is great! Everything felt new and clean and modern, which put me at ease. And lots of female staff, which made me more comfortable, as a woman myself. Dr. Jen put me at ease by asking relevant questions and really listening to my answers. She explained her diagnosis and recommended course of treatment in terms that I could understand. And she made me laugh, so there's that. I have been going 2x's a week for adjustments for the past 3 months and we recently added massage therapy to my plan of care and dropped adjustments down to 1x a week. I used to wake up and hope that I would have at least one moment of pain relief in the day and now I wake up and forget how miserable I was just a few months ago. I'm too young to feel like I'm in an old, worn-out body and I am grateful to Dr. Jen and her staff for taking care of me and motivating me to try new things.
