I had no intentions of having it surgically removed, yet a surgeon was sent into my room for a consult regardless. The bedside manner of this man was HORRIFIC. Before we even discussed surgery, he asked if my 'tummy troubles' possibly came from anxiety. Then, he detailed that while he was in med school, a woman who had a similiar procedure bled out and died on the opperating table. He stated that I would probably not need surgery, but he could 'do it anyway'. Months after, I met with an accreditted surgeon who found endometriosis, and also found that my 'simple cyst' was an endometrioma that wouldve ABSOLUTELY required surgical intervention!
