I had to use them in November 2024 when I got ill, I had a copay for $40.00 which I paid. The doctor told me to come back a week later to get my flu shot and COVID shot, at which time I asked her if there would be a charge for that because I am a senior citizen and Medicare covers my immunizations. I can walk into any Walmart, Sam's club, Costco, etc. and I pay 0 dollars. She assured me there would be NO CHARGE, so I went back a week later for both shots. Well since November and it is now June 2025 I have been harassed by CVS trying to get $40.00 from me!! I told them THAT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN....PERIOD!! Over the past six…read moremonths, there has been only one time when my prescription was actually in stock when it was supposed to be. Every other month, I've had to constantly call to check on the status, ask where my medication is, and try to get a straight answer on when it will be available. On multiple occasions, I've been told it wasn't ready, only to call again later and suddenly be told that it is ready. I shouldn't have to chase down my prescription or repeatedly call just to get basic information. On top of that, the staff is often rude and dismissive, which makes an already stressful situation even worse. I also find it concerning that when my doctor recently attempted to prescribe multiple months at once, I was told by a Walgreens associate that they "can't do that" due to some kind of agreement with Zepbound and that they can only dispense one month at a time. That was never explained clearly and felt more like an excuse than a legitimate patient-focused policy. Overall, Walgreens does not make it easy to get prescriptions, communicate clearly, or feel supported as a customer. This has been the worst pharmacy experience I've had, and I will be looking elsewhere due to the lack of reliability and customer service.
