Please forward this COMPLAINT to: The District Manager and The Regional Manager…read more ** As Today - Store Manager Paul Said Complaint Would Only Comeback To Him and Indicated He Would Ignore It Even Though He Witnessed It (PLEASE REVIEW CAMERA RECORDING). For Walgreens Store #06906 at 12:56PM on 2/25/2026, 6097 Broadway, Merrillville I clipped a coupon in your app for $2 off qty 1 coupon Sudafed Sinus and Pressure the coupon did not expire until 3/14/26. Upon checkout the coupon was not showing on the register. So the clerk ask for a Mgr to come over. (Iliana - who I later found out was not a manager) Came over and took my phone from my hand and said the coupon wasnt being applied because the coupon was not showing in GREEN??? Because coupons show in green ON HER PHONE?? I told her that I dont know Walgreens color coding policy and does that mean she cant price adjust and not going to honor the coupon even though she sees it is clipped, not expired and not an online only coupon. Iliana then says that my app is the problem and needs to be updated?? Again, I question why do that now instead of the coupon being honored?? She then yells over to PAUL and SAYS CAN YOU COME GIVE HER A DOLLAR OFF OR SOMETHING....IT'S HER DAY OFF AND SHE DOESNT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!! PAUL SAYS HER NAME THREE OR FOUR TIMES BECAUSE SHE KEEPS YELLING AT WHICH POINT I MAKE IT CLEAR THAT I WILL BE REPORTING HER INSOLENT UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR TO CORPORATE. INSTEAD OF PAUL APOLOGIZING......HE STATES MY COMPLAINT WILL ONLY BE ROUTED BACK TO HIM INDICATING HE WAS FINE WITH HER ILL BEHAVIOR AND WOULD DO NOTHING TO CORRECT IT. NO CUSTOMERS DESERVE TO BE YELLED AT AND TREATED LIKE AN INTERNAL STORE PROBLEM IS THERE FAULT!

Avoid this place at all costs. I took my 2003 Toyota Camry to this substandard shop. I needed a…read morenew engine put in which costs $4000 dollars. From the time I drove the car to my house, the radiator blew which caused the engine to over heat and blow a gasket. The supposed mechanic, Brad, stated this was my fault that I drove it home and the radiator over heated. However, if he were a reputable mechanic, he would have caught the radiator, thereby preventing the engine to fail. He refused to give me any of my $4000 dollars back or fix the car. Needless to say, I was left with a $4000 paper weight. This man,Brad, and Purkey's have no scruples and do not stand by their work.

I recenty had a flat tire on the off ramp at I65 and Ridge on the way to work. My mom called…read morePurkey's Towing for me. It took about an hour for the truck to arrive. While he was jacking up my car, the car fell. No big deal I thought at the time. When he was done changing my tire, I realized my car would not start! The next day my husband called for info on my car, it was at this time that "John" told him that my car didn't start because I drove on a flat tire. There is a "switch" that turns the fuel line off when it is jolted so it doesn't explode. While I was waiting at the speedway for him to come and change my tire, I went into the store 3 times within the hour, turning my car OFF and ON each time. I was only unable to start it AFTER he dropped my car! We tried to explain this too him, he dropped the $50 tow, but was still trying to make me pay the $24 for the mechanic to reset my switch. Since I had to have my car to go to work, and since I already missed a day of work because of it, I had no choice but to agree to pay this. When I went to pick up the car, he decided that it was now $34 to have the switch reset. John makes mechanics look bad by feeding into the crooked mechanic stereotype. I highly recommend not using this service. John is quite simply, a liar.
