I hired Lillian for help with my taxes after hearing she was highly recommended. This was a terrible decision. I provided all my materials in a timely manner but she filed my taxes months late and only with my prodding. I was then penalized with late fees, which she did not cover. Instead she invoiced me for almost 4 times the original amount she quoted, which I had to push to get reduced. On top on that I just received a letter stating the filling was wrong and that I now owe additional money. This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with an accountant. I can't speak for the other services she offers but taxes are not her forte. read more

I'm really impressed with Lillian Professional Services. And it is also good that places like this still exist in the Bedford Stuyvesant that I was born and still fortunately live in. Gentrification has pushed many good, Black and West Indian businesses out of the neighborhood. Lillian Professional Services was a nice surprise. The customer service operator was friendly and professional, and she told me that I could come to early get my TSA Pre Check fingerprinting, even though my appointment was hours later. The office is clean, organized, and well-lit. However, it would have been nice to have seats near the window for clients to wait for their service. The TSA Pre-Check process was so efficient, I couldn't believe that I was in and out in 6 minutes. I was approved the next day, too. Overall, I had a great experience here, and I will recommend that others come here for passport photos, TSA Pre Check applications, or any other services they provide. Thank you! Only useful for prints/copies- which is why Lillian's is thriving across the street from the projects. Do NOT patron for tax filings- you will regret it dearly. Not just because they will f*ck up your tax returns, but because they will also leave you to clean up the mess they've made. And who really wants a mess with the IRS? Lillian employs her own family at this business, which speaks to the lack of motivation and professionalism around something as elementary as returning a phone call or email. It's really misleading that she labels herself as a tax accountant/expert. As an eBay and Poshmark seller during the pandemic, this business is vital. I tried going to the post office to send packages and I would have to stand on line for sometimes 45 min or more. They offer a variety of services to include FedEx, UPS and USPS drop off and pick up, passport photos, fax and copy services, tax preparation, mailbox rentals and more. I would not recommend this business. I've had too many occasions where I patronized this business and the staff has an attitude. They had my taxes for a month and never contacted me pertaining to the submission of my taxes And when I finally reached out about it they were rude and nasty and asked me do I live on this planet and know that there's a pandemic that should've been the last straw for me, But recently went down there to pick up a package and they sent my package back on the sixth day when I had seven days to pick up via UPS. When they told me my package was shipped back and I told them that today was the final business day for me to pick up they had an attitude and screamed at me. The owner came out and attempted to rectify the situation and the employee continued to be rude. The owner asked the employee to step away and the employees continue to stay in there like she wasn't gonna move just because I was there (Yeah, trying to be 'tough' lol) . How do you run business and your employees don't respect you? I won't be using Miss Lillian anymore because she likes to hire staff that does not respect her and think they can talk to customers who pay money to keep them open any old kind of way. If I can give them 0 stars I would. I also have a video of the employee acting disrespectful but unfortunately yelp does not allow videos. I hope Miss Lillian takes heed for the future and how your staff who respects her And her small black owned business. Since moving to Bed-Stuy in 2011, we have had to deal with the Shirley Chisholm USPS office on Fulton, which is a huge mess with huge lines that sometimes last for an hour or more and the people who work there are not very happy (understandably). It was so bad that we dreaded going there. And then we discovered Lillian's Professional Services! A black-woman-owned business conveniently located on Marcus Garvey, with a notary, shipping supplies, and all! We've been there several times, once for notary services and other times to mail stuff. Lillian and several of the other workers were very nice on the phone and in person. They managed to find the perfect sized packaging for the stuff we wanted to mail and charged a VERY reasonable price for the shipping materials. Call ahead to make sure they are open and if you need the notary that the notary is working that day. This is a small business; stuff happens. Lillian's was recommended by a local small business owner to us, and the recommendation was perfect! We now recommend this place to others all the time! read more

Mrs. Lillian is very professional and that's why I am giving this establishment an additional star. However, the people that work for her are extrememely unprofessional and condensending to customers. Especially one female, I forget her name, she wears glasses and has light brown skin and tattoos. I've noticed countless times her appearance was extrememly unprofessional for "Professional Services" she wear sweatpants and slippers!!! She is also very rude on the phone.
