    French toast, bacon, eggs. $7.50

Small restaurant in a small town serving mostly (but not exclusively) a small rv park. Inside has 8 tables and a counter area. We came for breakfast and got the last table. Our table orders omeletes, biscuit and gravy, and french toast. The food came out in a decent amount of time and was very hot. The omelets were loaded with ingredients and the pineapple in the Hawaiian was pretty good. The only thing that I would like better is if they used chedder instead of American cheese. The French toast was very good and the eggs were perfect. Bacon was crispy. The biscuits and gravy were just passable. The "works" omelete was a big pile of food. Not a bad breakfast place and we'll be back to try other options.

Used to be an old Pony Express Station!

Our first time! We came for breakfast with friends & enjoyed ourselves. Split a chicken fried steak breakfast with my hubby & it was yummy! It's nothing fancy, just simple & nostalgic. Years gone by it was a Pony Express Station. Decent RV park behind the restaurant & loads of off road trails!! Service was great & plan to go back & try lunch!

This is a fantastic seasonal breakfast spot. If you live in Yuma it's worth driving up over the hill. On Sunday the day I went they had to specials. Both of them were outstanding. They had a carrot cake pancake for those of you like something sweet that was amazing. Then they had a meat lover special. I would describe it as a baked egg and meat loaf. The guy working there said they have a special similar that most Sundays. So I'm gonna go back. The building is charming and old. The staff is super friendly and efficient and give great service. My coffee never got below halfway. It is well Ron fun and sales package goods in case you are going out and forgot you want to soda or beer or something.

Steve, we wanted to let you know your RV Park has the best mountain views and the best privacy with minimal people to enjoy the park away from a major city. We will truly miss living there. Out of all RV Parks we rate yours the best and everyone was so friendly and super nice. We have stayed at luxury rv parks and yours is the best layout and we've been to Nevada to California to Arizona. Great food at the restaurant, awesome trail walks and absolutely gorgeous views with wildlife in the surroundings that are a treat to enjoy. Will miss the vibe, take care, Milana and Shaun

Small dining area call for reservations if you have more than six. Fantastic food great service just a cool little cafe in the desert near a mobile home / RV park. Easy on and off freeway lots of RV and truck parking. Only 5 minutes from Fortuna foothills Yuma Arizona well worth the drive.

Kind like located in the end of the world. In this situation, they do service really nice food as we were so tired and hungry when we got there. As the only restaurant in the nearby 20 miles (or even more ), it's kind like a paradise in the desert .

But what you'll find is a 5 star restaurant once you step inside. They have patio dining as well as tables inside. Each meal is prepared and plated with culinary skill. On this day, I had the curry shrimp and veggies. A sort of deconstructed Thai yellow curry dish. The plating made all the difference. The plate was served with a shaped mound of rice in the middle, with sauteed vegetables around the edges, green beans, carrots, zucchinis, onions, peppers and 8 shrimp placed around the plate on top of the veggies. The Yellow curry was poured over the rice for a unique plating. The shrimp were cooked nicely and everything was delicious. I have never had a disappointing meal in this place. I sat near the front door and had a duel with a relentless fly for a while that was a little annoying. But hey, sometime we deal with things in life for the greater good. A top notch , do not miss restaurant in my book and I recommend to everyone I know. This day I purposely left my phone in the car so I could take a real break on my drive from San Diego to Tucson.

The restaurant is clean and has a nice feel. I gave the girl who seated us my credit card and asked her to charge us as it was our treat. (At the end of our dinner, our waitress handed our neighbors the bill with our credit card.... It was uncomfortable and awkward). We were given each a slice of bread (very good). We each ordered a cocktail and chatted for a bit. We ordered the following: a seafood gumbo, fettuccine seafood Alfredo, pesto pasta, and a pesto pasta with shrimp, a Cesar salad and a spinach salad. It took awhile to get our food. The spinach salad was good. I would have it again. We ate and talked more. Paid our bill and left. The server delivered two plates of pesto pasta which shrimp although we only ordered one with shrimp. Our friend said he'd keep it. My complaint: the pesto pasta was terrible, and I don't say that lightly. It was barely warm, dry with the pesto sauce as if it had been re-warmed, the shrimp was almost too salted to eat (and I like salt), and there was a small pile of veggies on top of it all to give it color but even these were wilted and looked/tasted old. The seafood gumbo and the seafood fettuccine were both liked and seemed freshly put together. Now-I really wanted to say something but chose not to because we were just meeting our new neighbors and didn't want to complain about the meal in front of them. But, when we got into the car-our new friends commented that his pesto pasta was not warm and really not good at all. His comment lead to my review. Two of us had the same opinion. The dinner was good, but nothing was great. River City Grill wasn't a gem of a place tonight. We most likely won't give it another try and I doubt our neighbors will be back.

Prison Hill is the classic brewery serving a great variety of beers and food. Lineup for the night: Chango Malo (stout), Crimin Ale (cream ale), Peanut Butter Stout. Each beer was phenomenal in mouth feel as I like the richer, creamier beers. Chango malo had a lovely cocoa flavor. Peanut Butter stout actually tasted like peanut butter without being offensive. You can taste the peanuts behind the butter. The Crimin ale had a good mouth feel but pro tip - don't have a lighter beer between two heavier ones with spicy food. It gets a bit overpowered. On the topic of food, I had the Wrecker sandwich. Soft roll, smoked meat, and crunchy slaw made for a good dichotomy of texture in the sandwich. When you see smoke rings in a bbq sandwich, you know you're eating some primo shit. I'm not a big fan of spicy though but this was the right amount between the slaw and the fresh jalapeños. I felt like deviating from the usual burger and it was a good choice. Looking around at some of the other plates, I don't think I couldve gone wrong. Solid venue, good food, good beer, great staff. Usually I'm not into chains and handcuffs but if it means ending up at Prison Hill, lock me up baby.

Tonight I got the "Prison Hill Smoked Meat Plate" with the tri-tip and brisket with sidewinder fries and macaroni salad as my sides. I must say I was not impressed with this meal. The meat just didn't have much flavor in my opinion. I'd go back for sure because the service is good and the atmosphere is very casual, but I'll try something else next time.
