One of my first jobs while in college in California was as acommercial printing salesperson. I knew how important it is to see a proof in person, so I was mad at myself for not paying extra to next day the proof to me. If I saw the proof I would have made some variations on the graphics I submitted. I am new to GA and saw an advertisement online and was sent samples immediately. A month later we ordered 500 on the roll labels for our new Body Butter PalmShea. My partner loves them but I see where some graphics could have been sharper and sizes edited. This is our first product that is going on the market, I am proud of the beginning. Tony was amazing to work with. I changed my mind a couple of times and he was so patient. I will definitely be ordering from them again soon, I just have to see the print proof to know what it will look like offline. read more

The labels are great. Don't get me wrong there. But their customer service absolutely STINKS. Emails never get answered. Directions put on the original orders are never read, proofs are submitted with no changes made... and good luck getting an answer from anyone. We've used them for years, but I am so tired of their customer service this will be the last time we order from them. read more

The customer representative, Ashley, was a delight to work with...helped me to figure out exactly what I needed. The labels are beautiful and so easy to use. Highly recommend their products. read more

Lightning Labels turned into thunderstorm delays for a very important project I had going where my labels were critical. My label submission SAT in LL art department for 2 1/2 weeks and nobody told me there was a problem. My order actually got LOST in the system. It was only when I went to pick up labels. I learned there was a problem. The end result was nothing got resolved after many emails, and I had to cancel the order completely and use another printer. I really felt like nobody cared. read more

I was shopping for labels on a different website and I closed the webpage without buying anything. I had the intention of weighing my options and coming back to making a purchase later. Through the use of targeted advertising that Lighting Labels paid for, they started telling me that I could get a free quote and 30% off but ultimately, they just wasted my time and continue to delay my purchase. If you ask for a free quote and they don't want your business, they may ignore your request, leaving you to wait a couple of business days in anticipation of the quote that will never come. Be weary of the lightning fast turn around time. read more

Awful customer service. Gus is super unhelpful and extremely condescending. He refuses to help you with anything. If I wanted to make labels all by myself I wouldn't be using them.... Their website is terrible. When it wasn't working or giving us the 30% off discount on our first order that they advertise all over their page.... he told me to just go ahead and place our $1,500 order and he will see if he can maybe refund us. Why would we spend more money when you advertise 30% off on your website. He was so unhelpful and lazy. He could have easily done everything for us and charge us the correct amount if he actually tried to do something right!! This was just a tiny piece of the terrible "customer service" we experienced with them. We went and spent our money elsewhere and our experience was night and day. DO NOT USE THEM!! read more

Worst service ever, they took forever, and the quality was even more disappointing and then they charged twice as much as it said. Sooooo bad, smh!!! Won't happen again. read more

I cannot give enough praise to Lightning Labels. I have been working with this company for about 2 years- they have printed tens of thousands of labels for me, all shapes, sizes, colors, materials! Mary was my first contact at LL and was patient and kind with me as I learned how to create the types of files needed to create labels, I am now a seasoned pro! ;) Mary is still my main contact, and is always so helpful and great to work with. One day, after not hearing back from me via email- she even called me on her way out the door to make sure to approve something so it would move to production for me as soon as possible. I have recommended Lightning Labels to countless peers and will continue to do so. Their quality and speed is incredible, I get countless compliments on my packaging thanks to their work! read more

Lightning Labels - insanely good quality printing in full color!! This is one of hundreds of styles LL has printed for me. - Printing Services Near Me - Denver, Colorado

Complete scam of a company. Our company ordered over $30,000 worth of labels from Lightning. First, they missed their promise date. Second, they all came completely disorganized. Third, and worst of all, many of the labels were so defective we could not use them. We sent the defective labels back to Lightning. They admit they were defective, and refused to refund. All they would do is reprint them, but we don't need anymore labels, especially off of their defective printers. They have no problem soliciting us for more business but can't refund their defective product. If you want delayed, defective labels, this is your spot. read more

I found Lightening Labels though a Facebook ad. I'm really glad I found them. As far as customer service goes these guys are top notch. My sales rep was Merle and he was super helpful every step of the way. They gave me the best price out of all the other companies that quoted me. The quality of the labels were great as well. We did have a miss communication that led to a high shipping charge but after speaking to them they refunded me the shipping charge. read more

Ordered some removable labels for my niece's college graduation party. The theme came from Step Brothers movie -Catalina Wine Mixer. These labels were the hit of the party. I ordered 600 labels and the came in 3 rolls of 200 (plus an extra 10 per roll which I thought was nice). Since they were removable I didn't have to worry about having them damage walls of their rental house. read more

Adore these guys! They have been so accommodating, SO fast, and so affordable. I have not found anyone better. In the instance where there was a minor error, due to miscommunication, they corrected it immediately without question. I point this out only because NO ONE has ever done this for me. It is worth mentioning and championing! I would gladly recommend them to anyone! Onward and upward Lightning Labels! read more

Horrible customer service. I requested details about their paper options before printing and they refused to tell me anything about their paper. Instead, they insisted that I had to order their sample book to choose something. I told them my job was rushed and I didn't have time to wait for samples to come in, and asked if they could simply tell me the names of their papers so I could look at them on Neenah's website, and they refused. I guess my business wasn't worth anything to them. read more

I've been using Lightning Labels for the past 5 years for product labels. I love them. The service is excellent. The only negative is the price as they tend to be a bit higher, but the quality and service is excellent. I've had no issues with them. read more

Just wanted to add that their "reorder" option forces the customer to do a complete re-upload of images, saving no time at all. All the information they retain is the size and material, not anything specific to the order you're trying to re-create. Second chance blown. Wizard Labels is a fantastic, faster alternative that I have discovered since my first review of Lightning labels. Only tried Lightning labels again because of a deadline. Big mistake. Lesson learned, again. read more

As far as the customer service goes... the person that answers the phone.. yes I agree she could use a personality makeover. BIGTIME.. that really shouldn't be the face of your company. She is quite rude. However.. after her... I dealt with Bianca in sales. BEST customer service I have ever had and it made up for the rude woman on the phone. My labels had a mistake in the finish and they fixed them immediately and sent new ones. So why a 5 star?? I'll tell you why. Because overall they are a 5 star company in my opinion and I am not a jerk. It is not worth ruining a company's reputation because they made a mistake.. they point is... they fixed it. Thank you for being the best around and the best for my business. read more

Our experience started out excellent with our first point of contact Jillian listening to our needs and putting us in touch with a designer. Unfortunately the service level went downhill from this point. Dealing with our account manager Anna, it seemed she was unattentive to our needs, despite repeated attempts to clarify details. The time wasted on attempts to get our order finalized was enough to move on to other options. We could not continue with confidence that we were going to receive the expected labels. Our label order for glass jars seemed simple enough and the stock/quality of the samples was excellent, price was acceptable (maybe a bit high given exchange rates), but the service level alone has us cancelling our order process and looking elsewhere for product labels. read more

I looked into printing some business materials with Lightning labels. I found that their prices were very high so I opted to go with a different company. I started receiving an email everyday from lightning labels so I unsubscribed but the emails kept coming. I spammed the new emails and they continued to come from different servers everyday (thereby bypassing the spam flag) I continue to recieve emails from them and can't imagine that an above board, legitimate company would behave in this way. STAY AWAY read more

I have had nothing but wonderful customer service from this company. I am so relieved to have found them. One of the toughest things I had to do was create a label that I was happy with and then find someone who could print them and have them look professional. My contact is Mary and she is AMAZING. She is so kind and patient and really follows through. I love her. So glad I found this place. read more

I custom ordered labels from here and I was very let down. First, I spent an entire business day trying to work with these label. Used both of the their templates and even had to create my own template and still I couldn't get them to work. After reaching out I was guided to adjust my printer settings which I did still no labels I could actually use on my products. I ended up wasting five sheets of labels and a whole business day. After this I reached out to them asked for a refund. Which I NEVER got but instead got emails after asking me to send pictures and once sent still didnt get my money back. Still now I have a stack of 100 blank labels that I will never use and I had to go through a whole other vendor to order more label. This issue pushed back my product launch day by two weeks. I have had customers very disappointed at the fact that my products were unavailable when they were told they would be due to this issues. As a small business owner, I never questions my customers, even if I am right! I always refund, I never pepper them with questions. I would not recommend these to anyone nor will I ever use them again. read more

Just completed my first order with Lightning Labels and the experience across the board was as good as it gets. Advertised 2 day production time plus 5 day shipping time meant I should've gotten my labels 7 days later. I had them in 4 days. They look great, and my account manager Kim was as kind and helpful as I could have hoped for. I've worked with half a dozen different label companies over the last two years and nobody comes close to Lightning in terms of customer service, turnaround time, or professionalism. Looking forward to continuing to work with your team! read more

Though they have a quality product, these guys are deceptive and uninformative of how their proofing process works. I recently made an order and noticed that they billed me an extra $420 just because I made three revisions to a single label (in which I requested pdf proofs (which uses no material and takes five minutes)). Anyway, these cucks decided to charge me $5 per label per revision, even on labels that didn't need revised. So thats 28 labels x 3 revisions x $5 per label, when I really only should have been charged $15, which I still think is ridiculous, and I still was only able to talk them down to $20 for the revisions. TL;DR They do not make the revision process crystal clear to the customers and they will nickel and dime you at every chance they get. Also, just like the others mention, their representative, Michaela, needs to tone down the sass. read more

Customer service was awful. Was set to order my labels with them, got redirected three times and the lady I ended up speaking with was very rude. I read the reviews about the horrible customer service, but felt I wanted to give them a chance, as the quality of the labels seemed to not have any negative reviews. The colors and quality, etc are excellent and my labels are beautiful and professional looking. With that said, I will no longer be using this company. I whole heartedly agree that their customer service is horrid, disrespectful and dismissive. I was working with Mary for about 6 months and over that time period, I found her to be very passive aggressive and unprofessional, to the point of yelling over the phone, putting me on hold mid sentence and talking over me in a very condescending and patronizing way. After several months of this kind of treatment, I finally had had enough and called to speak with a supervisor. After leaving two messages over the span of four days, I received no call back. The next day, a different sales rep called and said they would be taking over my account. No apologies, no acknowledgement of this horrific service, no 'this is how we will make sure this never happens again.' It will not be any of the bad reviews that puts this company out of business, I think their customer service will do it themselves. sigh... read more
