Hello, I manage a lot of properties and projects. I hired Lightland to work on a difficult project to swap and upgrade electrical feeds to two commercial units and install a new breaker panel. The old 1957 system had been hacked to pieces by former businesses in the space. I could not make sense of a lot of it. I have included before photos. We found wire splices buried in the wall and even a junction box buried in there too! Be sure to read the captions so as not to mix up before and after the work! Gabe, David, and Joaquin were fantastic. Gabe is well respected by the City of Watsonville and got us through the permit process easily. Final comments from the inspector were minimal, just a cover change and labeling some spare wires. As a project manager, I have used a lot of electricians. These folks are among the best. I have included many photos of the finished work prior to labeling everything. David and Joaquin did most of the work and it's tip top. Gabe was wonderful!!! A prior "electrician" replaced our panel two weeks earlier and there was no end of code violations and circuit problems. Gabe replaced the panel again with a lot more room for breakers. He added ground rods, fixed all of the broken circuits and code violations, ang got everything working. I have hired Gabe, from Lightland Electric, for two different projects and was thoroughly impressed both times. The first time was for installing a 240 outlet in my garage for an electric car a couple years ago, and the most recent time was last week to repair two hallway light switches after my own botched attempt. After the light switch repair, an issue with an outlet was discovered. Gabe promptly set an appointment to return to take a look. While he was there, I asked if he had time to also look at an exterior security light with which I was unsuccessful in getting to work after changing the light bulb earlier that morning. He went above and beyond taking a look at the exterior light! He readjusted the fixture, reset the sensor settings and angle, cleaned up the old caulking... without charging me extra. As a property manager, I've worked with multiple electricians. What sets Gabe apart is his professionalism and personality. He was a pleasure to converse with and I even found out that our kids have schools in common. He was also very personable toward my tenant who was on the way out. We had a critical electrical project for our beach house during stormageddon in January 2019. I had not used Lightland before but I took a chance based on the extremely positive reviews. In spite of the rain and the wind Gabe and his crew came right out and did an excellent job in upgrading our electric panels. I was unable to be present so Gabe sent me photos of the finished job complete with a pristine work area - they are extremely tidy! We handled the entire process electronically which was massively helpful. I needed a 240v outlet added to my garage for a level 2 charger for my Chevy Bolt EV. Jered was able to come out the same day as I called. Unfortunately for him I was running late getting home, and I didn't realize there were more than 1 type of dryer outlet. He was able to go and pick the correct plug after showing him the L2 charger I purchased and in no time was able to get everything wired up and tested.
