I'm not looking for sweetness and sugar when someone is telling me what I'm doing wrong so some may say rude but I definitely say they are very assertive and I can tell they genuinely care about helping my child! I will always recommend this place. My child is comforted by the staff as soon as he walks in. I appreciate how honest they are with me and that's all I ask for when dealing with my child. My son seems to like all the ladies there.

This office filled out a claim for my insurance company with missing information. Then for 10 months Melissa from the south bend office resent in the same incomplete claim and had it denied over 10 times. Finally, after 10 months I was sent a bill with a large lump sum. Honestly, I thought it was a scam. The bill came with no itemized list of services and only had a large lump sum that was due immediately. My kids had not been to the dentist in almost a year and I had no idea there was a problem with the claim from 10 months prior. I had to call back and forth between my insurance company and the Plymouth/south bend office for almost 3 hrs. During this time my insurance company informed me that they had not received my claim. They said that if I had the dr office send in another claim today that they would watch the fax machine for me and they would retrieve the claim and find out what the problem is. However, when I called Melissa she went on and on about how many times she sent my claim already, how much work she had already done on my claim, and that she absolutely would not send in another claim for me. I ended up apologizing to her for everything even though I literally just found out there was even a problem. ( at this time I began to panic because i needed her help the dr. Office had to send in the claim. I started to silently cry. I was so upset. Also, this was the first time I had called her about this!) She told me she would not call them to figure out the problem either. ( I could not believe how unprofessional she was) I apologized again and silently wiped my tears. I then recalled my insurance company and they found out that the claim was sent in incomplete over and over again. The quadrant was missing for the date of service and it could not be processed without that information. I then recalled melissa. When I told her that the quadrant was missing she basically yelled at me. Told me there was no reason that a quadrant was needed for my claim and began explaining the services they performed on my son's teeth the year before. ( at this time I had been on the phone for hours and Frankly was not interested in being scolded about what kind of information my insurance company may or may not need on a claim) however, I still needed her help so I apologized some more and silently wiped my tears. Finally, she put me on hold and called my insurance company. After holding for 20 min. She got back on the phone. She told me she in fact resent in my claim with the missing information (quadrant) filled in. She said " I resent the claim and I filled in the quadrant, they dont need it but I put it on there so they have it" She never apologized for the company filling it out wrong in the first place, she never apologized for not informing me there was a problem sooner. Absolutely, no accountability was taken!! The only reason she did so much "work" on my claim was entirely her fault. You cannot do the same thing over and over and expect a different result! If she had notified me after the second or third attempt I would have fixed the problem then. But waiting over 10 months til the claim had been rejected over 10 times is incompitance at its finest. She basically ended the conversation like she had done me a favor for resending my claim again and nothing was their fault. Even though it was literally the first time the claim was sent in correctly. Honestly, I probably wouldn't have left this Review if it had ended there. However, a few weeks went by and I received a letter of rejection from my insurance company because the claim had surpassed its 12 month filing period. Also, I received another bill from the dentist where they added on an interest fee!!! ( I had spoken to Nancy and was supposed to have my account on hold til the claim incident was settled. So they lied to me again!) So, now I am stuck with a 600$ out of pocket bill! Find a different dentist!!
