I asked them to provided proof as we had not missed an appointments in over five years, nor had we missed any recently. They said they would call me back. When I called they would not answer so I used a different phone. Umber and when they answered I asked them to send me proof, all they provided was the missed appointment policy. I called back and asked them to send proof. They sent via snail mail the policy again with no proof - becaue they made a mistake and clearly unwilling to admit it. It is because we are not spending enough money there. We have only had cleanings in the last couple years. Unbelievable. Over 25 years of care and this is how they treat their patients. I was shocked and disappointed.

I was covered under…read moremy father's insurance which was top-shelf dental insurance and they made sure to use it to their advantage. First. He sent me to an oral surgeon to get my wisdom teeth taken out, and when I came back, I had my wisdom teeth out PLUS 3 back molars removed! I was only 17 so of course I didn't know anything about dentistry or really what he was doing! Weeks later for the follow-up appointment, I asked, "What happened to my back molars?" and McGue said, "Oh you don't need those." Fast forward 15 years later and I DID need those teeth! The shape of my face changed because of the unnecessary removal of 3 healthy back molars. He then did a bunch of crowns and fillings that through the years have all broken off, fell out, and need to be replaced. I'm now in the process of finding a new dentist to fix all his work. Do NOT recommend.

Going to the dentist is never on anyone's list of favorite things to do, but Dr. McGue and his staff make the experience as pleasant as can be. We wouldn't think about going anywhere else.

They made me feel completely at ease and suggested a reasonable course of treatment that I did not find invasive in the least. I would highly recommend Jefferson Dental Center.

I waited to be fitted in for about 90 minutes. They took the circular x-ray, and couple of others once in the chair. They went over what had to be done. They were kind, sympathetic, and the tech even let me squeeze her hand as the tooth was bring pulled. The crack was long and deep as the x-ray showed. Dr. Paige was wonderful as were Ali and Renatta (sp). I also knew what I had to pay before it all really began and offered the payment plan if needed. I am going back...and hopefully my teeth will become healthier.

No coffee, no magazines, but plenty of hand sanitizer and Kleenex. When my son was finally called back, everything went smooth until about an hour after we got home. The numbness wore off about 50 minutes after we got home and my son started to swell up quite a bit and was in a lot of pain. I went to the pharmacy and no medicine was even called in. Four hours later and my son finally gets his medicine and no pain medicine was prescribed for him for the day. I've given my son Tylenol and ibuprofen and he's still in pain. Afdent got their 620 dollars though, so that's all that really matters. Sending a patient home swollen and in pain with nothing to help for the day just doesn't seem right, but at least we helped make Dr. Pecina a little bit richer.
