When I moved to Indiana I went to Centre for Contemporary Dentistry for my wisdom teeth removal and had a positive experience with that procedure, so I recently went back for a cleaning. Brook was my hygienist and she did such an incredible job. My teeth really were a mess with the buildup I had developed, and she got rid of every last bit of it. It feels like I have a new set of teeth - and that's not a feeling I was expecting from a routine teeth cleaning. Thanks to the great staff!

When I tried to explain what the other two dentists said, she rudely repeated the oral surgeons names and said I was no longer a patient. It was difficult to find an oral surgeon to remove the implant but I finally found one. This is terrible to treat a patient who needs help and I was a good patient for several years. I suffered emotional distress and depression from this horrible experience.

Dr. Christina Weber is the new doctor for this office and spent time with me explaining the pros and cons of different options. I was thankful for her compassion, time and advise. I generally don't like dentists due to bad experiences as a kid and fibromyalgia which makes it more painful. She made it as comfortable as possible for me. I do not have any money to pay out of pocket and it would need to wait until January 1st when my insurance benefits went back to $2700 a year. I get a EOB (Explanation of Benefits) in mail today. Southshore Family Dentistry BILLED MY UNITED HEALTHCARE MEDICARE AARP PLAN $2915 FOR A CROWN AND FILLING AND PULP CAP THAT I NEVER RECEIVED!!!!! Allowed amount was $1894. Amount paid was $1062!!!!! PATIENT RESPONSIBILITY IS $832 FOR SOMETHING I NEVER HAD DONE!!!!!!!!! This is a LOW and NASTY thing to do to anyone and especially someone on social security disability income ONLY!!!! I told these people NO and they tried everything to get me to go into debt to get a crown that I don't even think I need done. I will be reporting them to medicare for FRAUD and if you don't want work done on your teeth that you dont need then STAY AWAY FROM SOUTHSHORE FAMILY DENTISTRY!!!!!
