From the outset, the intake process was chaotic and redundant. I was required to complete identical…read moreintake paperwork multiple times -- online, over the phone, in person. During the phone intake, a staff member asked about my "second appendix surgery," which reflects a concerning lack of basic medical understanding and attention to accuracy. Upon arrival at the clinic, a patient exited an exam room yelling profanities about one of the medical staff, referring to him in derogatory terms. Front desk staff did not appear surprised or corrective, even agreeing with her, which created an unprofessional and unsettling environment. Once taken to the exam area, I was again asked to verbally repeat the same information already provided multiple times. My pharmacy information was listed on two intake forms and verbally confirmed with staff, who entered it into the computer in my presence. I would like to acknowledge that the physician assistant, Chris Kottenstette, provided a thorough and understandable explanation of how pain responses affect the brain and body. I appreciated that portion of the consultation. He recommended a non-narcotic prescription medication and discussed two potential nerve block procedures, one of which I declined. However, the follow-through on the medication prescription was nonexistent. After returning home, I never received notification from my pharmacy. When I contacted the office, I was told they did not have my pharmacy information. This was after it had already been provided in writing twice and verbally confirmed. I confirmed the pharmacy again and was told the prescription would be ready after 5:00 p.m. Shortly after that phone call, another staff member called stating they still did not have my pharmacy information. In total, my pharmacy details were provided five times within approximately two hours. A week later, still nothing. The only action that appears to have been completed efficiently was scheduling a surgical procedure. Given the repeated administrative failures and lack of basic follow-through on a simple prescription, I did not feel confident proceeding with an invasive intervention. I cancelled the procedure. When I notified the surgical center of my cancellation, I was told they are "not at all affiliated" with Colorado Pain Care. However, publicly available information indicates that the co-founder and CEO of the practice is also associated with the surgical center where I was scheduled. And one of the office staff they transferred me to said she is a staff member of Colorado Pain Care and does office at the surgical center. This conflicting information raises additional concerns regarding transparency. I requested both the clinic and the surgical center email me a confirmation that the surgery was cancelled - given their lack of follow-through I wanted to make sure they weren't going to either charge me a no-show or try to pull one over on my insurance. But wait...there's more! A week before the surgery, I got a call from the surgical center confirming the surgery. When I read the cancellation email to them from their own staff member, they said they have no one on staff by that name. It literally came from someone with the business email address for Summit View Surgery Center. She then called me back to say, "oh yes...she does work here". I felt like I was in the twilight zone with everyone I met here. The right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing and neither one of them are putting a needle in my spine. A resounding vote of no confidence. The website emphasizes holistic, patient-centered care. Unfortunately, my experience felt transactional and procedure-driven rather than patient-focused. Not to mention a complete circus.

The whole department tapped in to exactly what was going on, and Colleen Seymour in particular is able to speak a language that one can understand & visualize when doing exercises at home. That is a true gift. Have to agree with several other reviewers about the MD side of Colorado Pain Care. I was caught up in the opioid crisis in the hands of these docs for a number of years. Thankfully, after a number of years weaning off narcotics, I'm on the other side and healing with the help of their physical therapy department.

The staff rotates between their various Denver area clinics under the same name. My experiences were that they were condescending, rude and unprofessional. The nurse practitioner named Jamie treated me like I was unimportant and did not even bother to review any of my treatment records or medical history before recommending things that were inappropriate for my treatment. This clinic is only interested in selling more services and treatments so they can bill your insurance and is non-interested in actual patient care. They are heavy-handed pushy and do not really seem to care about anyone. Even the front office Staff is rude and does not really listen at all and then talks down to you. AVOID.

I was spoiled by them for over 20 years, but alas, we all get older and one by one they began to retire. We decided to move to CO in 2020 and I dreaded beginning the process all over again. My PCP recommended Dr March and I figured he would be the first step in the process of finding the right team. I was wrong. He has been so tremendously helpful and so compassionate. He's absolutely the most compassionate and respectful doctor that we've ever encountered. We always recommend him to everyone that we talk to. So, if you have a family member or someone that you know that's in pain, please please come and see Dr. March. The quality of life and hope that he's given my son is immeasurable. He gave us hope 7 years ago when we had none. Like I said before, there's just not enough words to express what we feel for Dr. March. Thanks Dr. M!!! Not sure why it says we're from CA, but we actually live in Northern Colorado and see Dr. March at least once a month.

At my first appointment I met Dr. Jason Krutsch and told him my goal was to get back on a bicycle. The other Drs I had seen all told me to "give up" and plan on suffering and not doing any of the activities I loved again, I was 30, and that answer was not acceptable. Dr Krutsch and the PA I would see at my general appointments started treating the worst issues as non-invasively as possible and then moved onto to other problems that arouse, over time some things are worse (which was anticipated due to the injuries I suffered) and some have gone away. They've supported me and treated me with procedures, medications and physical therapy to ensure I could get back to the sports and adventures I love and am so grateful for their team. I've had a few PA's over the years that weren't a fit and I switched, but Dr Krutsch and the team overall are amazing. The team on the procedure side is wonderful and caring. They definitely deal with challenges and verbal abuse I've witnessed while there. They are professional and kind even to those who do not exude the same behavior towards them. The front desk staff is also amazing and caring. I whole heartedly recommend them to anyone dealing with chronic pain, instead of just trying to medicate it away, they apply a multi-modal approach to get real long-term results!!
