After being greeted and offered water (regular or sparkling), I was directed to...A MASSAGE CHAIR to wait (I was early). It was heavenly. Jannine came over and introduced herself, then we went to a treatment room. She listed her credentials (she's an RN), explained the procedure, discussed a couple of options, and then proceeded. I mentioned a problem that I had experienced when getting the identical service from a previous provider, and Jannine explained exactly how that happened, and how i would not have the same problem in her hands. I'm kind of blown away. This was a great experience. From being welcomed upon arrival, the massage chair, and the lovely and very professional Jannine, everything was a pleasure. They offer quite a wide range of treatments. I'm looking forward to returning!

(It sounds like they will match the Groupon price if you call and schedule directly through them.) However, it can be hard to reach them by phone to schedule. It sounds like they are currently short staffed and not always able to answer so leaving a message is your best bet. They're located in an office building. One time I scheduled an evening appointment and since the front door is locked after business hours, I had to call several times before being able to reach them to get someone downstairs to let me in. Their facility is nice and they offer a myriad of services- way more than a typical salon or med spa.

For a late…read moreafternoon visit, I had to book several weeks in advance, so if you're a 9 to 5-er be mindful of their hours. Upon arrival, I was asked to complete an extensive questionnaire about my health history. They then took my vitals (blood pressure, height, weight) and I received a brief consultation from Lori including some simple dietary recommendations. It is important to note Lori is a board certified nurse practitioner, not a functional medicine MD, but for B12 shots I don't really care. You may be used to getting your B12 shots intra-muscular into your thigh or butt. Here they use a much shorter needle and inject it right into your belly fat. It was a little freaky to feel the needle go in, but not painful. You can feel the "flush" instantly. I did feel more energized the week after my shot. Not sure how effective these are for weight loss. The shots contain some amino acids like methionine that are supposed to help your liver metabolize fats. I wish they also included folate and the other B vitamins, that way I could stop taking a daily pill. They were nice enough to send me home with my next 4 weekly shots when I asked, so I won't have to come in after work. I will administer them myself, samurai style. We'll see how that goes! Finally, if you're not buying a Groupon, the shots are $15 each.

I called the next day talking to Dominic who said he was a manager there. I explained to him I had zero reaction from the IPL treatment and he was cold and rude. In person he is polite but he is not a problem solver. I was more put off by his reaction then the treatment. I expected him to want to fix the problem but he just said his lasers are not very powerful and I shouldn't expect to see results.
