Wanting to elevate my skincare, I had a skin analysis and a HydraFacial--my skin was glowing. Tara reviewed my analysis and offered honest, personalized recommendations with zero pressure. I moved forward with a series of three Moxi laser treatments, and the results have been incredible. My skin looks brand new: sun damage and pigmentation gone, smoother texture, minimized pores, and a bright, even complexion. I barely wear foundation now, and the difference between my first and third treatment is huge. Tara is truly your "laser bestie"--friendly, skilled, and genuinely invested in your results. I plan to continue with yearly Moxi and quarterly microneedling to keep my collagen strong and my skin thriving. I also picked up some Alastin products (again, no pressure), and they've worked beautifully for my skin. Injectables are next on my list--probably a little baby tox soon. Overall, AOB has been exceptional, and I highly recommend them for all your MedSpa needs. My glow-up is thanks to them, and I can't wait to continue shining with their care.

I was absolutely elated when I realized where I'd be going! All the girlies on TikTok talked about Jalan Spa being their favorite place to go and I can say firsthand this place lives up to the hype. When I first walked in, the whole place looked and felt like a spa. There was relaxing music and dim lights right when I walked in. They had an area with bathrooms and a locker area for me to lock up my personal items and change into comfy flip flops. I was then led to the waiting area which had 2 areas to choose from- a complementary foot bath or an area with spacious lounge chairs that had a zen garden and books. I opted for the foot bath where the workers brought out a delicious tea that immediately relaxed me. When my esthetician was ready for me, she brought me to a private room with a heated blanket for me to settle into, and explained everything in good detail before we got started so I knew what to expect beforehand, without many interruptions of talking during. The facial was fantastic and my skin was lifted and glowing afterwards. I felt very well taken care of without being rushed. Afterwards, I was brought out to the same waiting area with a headed neck and shoulder pad for me to relax and take my time to leave when I'm ready. I think the whole experience was so unique with the care and attention I received before and after the facial made this place stand out above the rest. I will definitely be back!

Then recently, I received a stipend for a self-care/wellness experience and thought I would book a massage! The online booking system (through their website) made it very easy for me to get in the next day. I selected their 1-hour signature massage and had a great masseuse named Lauren. Prior to the appointment, they sent me a text to pre-fill out an intake form with various health questions and also asking how soft/firm you like your massages. Her pressure was just right and I definitely fell asleep for part of the massage. The form also asks if you'd like a more talkative or less talkative experience. Afterwards, I enjoyed the foot soak for about 10 minutes which was a nice treat! It was very quiet and relaxing the whole time I was there. I would love to try their facials next.

You end…read moreup spending so much money on this stuff, so I actually went on Groupon and looked at who was out there and what else they had to offer. I'm kind of blown away that I found Restorations on Groupon. I've been going back for over a year now, getting better results for almost PAINLESS microneedling as I did for insanely painful laser treatments that I had at other places. My skin has never been so clear, and my hyperpigmentation from years of acne is basically gone. At other places, microneedling has kind of felt like being slapped in the face repeatedly with a meat tenderizer, but whatever Kim uses to numb your face works like a charm. Seriously. Not to mention: As soon as you meet Kim, you realize there's something very deeply beautiful about her. She is maternal, warm, tuned into your needs, and (above all) masterful at what she does. She's been in the business for something like 40 years, and you can tell. She's never once tried to upsell me on anything -- it's not that kind of place at all. Her business thrives because people keep coming back. Even if I never had another treatment from Restorations (which is silly to think because I scheduled another one for mid-January), I feel like my life is more beautiful for having been a customer there and working with Kim. How many skincare places can you say that about?

He gave me some forms to sign and filled them out in the very comfortable waiting area. He took me to an exam room and went thru my medical history and also what I was looking to achieve with my skin. After discussing the medications I was on, he said it would not be a good idea to get the treatment I purchased the voucher for, but could go ahead and schedule a Carboxy Face Mask to see how that worked for me. I asked if I could have it done right there and then and he said he would go ahead and do the treatment for me. Steve is very professional, personable, friendly and knowledgeable. He really know his stuff. The exam room was comfortable and after changing into a gown, he started with a very thorough microdermabrasion followed by the mask. It was a weird sensation (really feels like pop rocks), but I only had a little bit of tingling but no discomfort. He then did some light therapy on top of the mask. I was very pleased with the results and he gave me a salon credit because the mask was cheaper than the laser treatment voucher. Steve and his staff are awesome! Felt very comfortable and they also provide massages, wax, laser hair removal, botox/fillers and a variety of facials (especially for people suffering from acne). I like the fact that they are medically directed and supervised, and their medical team is often on site.
