I was greeted by an amazing staff, Jose and fitness instructor Corlese. I immediately felt right at home and signed up for a membership. There was a spin class starting and open seats available so I decided To give it a try. Anne Marie had all my favorite jams playing and let's just say in my competitive nature, I pushed myself a little too hard. I felt faint toward the end of class and yelled for Anne Marie to help me off my bike(lol).I had 4 staff members that helped me breathe and come to, providing me with Gatorade and candy to get my blood sugar up. Side note: I didn't eat or wear proper attire. Also add in that I haven't worked out in over two years(hehe). Y'all.. this was MORTIFYING but the treatment I received from everyone at CYB made it that less humiliating. They were kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and encouraging. I'm definitely coming back and I'll wear my name proudly as "the girl who almost passed out in spin class". LOL!!

So this is a very nice place and considering how upscale it is surrounded by parks and very nice views right across from the airport in Santa Maria or orcutt, It's a bargain and a half. January gets half price membership fee, In the monthly fees are well worth it and adjusted for families and if you're over an age I don't know. And now the Hot water is back on. Staff is very friendly they have every feature for families that you would ever want. They have all the classes you would ever want. They have tiny dry and wet saunas. I have some great outdoor areas fantastic views I think I mentioned that, but I didn't mention the soccer field which can be rented but it's basically for kids leagues three to 12. And it's particularly nice it's completely enclosed and has artificial turf. They have a lap pool and a jacuzzi off to the side and four weight areas and two gyms with half court, a couple of fully enclosed handball courts which I love. One and a half pickleball courts I'm dying to try that once I get back into reasonable balance. It may be my good looks and personality but people are very friendly. And it's a great place if you got anything going for you to meet someone. So after one tour and 8 days later one try out which isn't much I'm giving it five stars. And it's my favoritest gym I think that I've ever joined maybe the Santa Barbara Y was close.

I love my Gym! I moved back to the area from the bay area where I was doing Orange Theory classes 4…read more-5 days per week. I started going to their boot camp classes and was so happy to find them challenging and different everyday similar to what I was used to at OTF. I wanted to write this post now because I was at the grocery store today and the cashier asked where I trained at! I am 6 months Pregnant! It felt so great for someone to ask me that when I feel like I feel like I am carrying an obvious baby belly! All of the trainers are so great and helpful. They have given me great guidance and modifications throughout my pregnancy so far. They make sure everyone in the class keeps their form on point to avoid any unnecessary injury. I am personally very comfortable with weight lifting on my own and joined for the motivation and accountability factor. But, if you are new to weight lifting or intimidated by the gym, the classes are GREAT place to get some knowledge as well.

I've taken a lot of Spin classes in the past and have been wanting to get back into it. Hunter (the owner) was my instructor and she led a fun and challenging class! All the equipment is brand new, and there are 4 and 6 lb. weight bars stored on the sides of the bike used for arm exercises during part of the class. The class is 45 minutes long and free towels are provided. They also lend you cycling shoes for your first class, although Hunter says most cycling shoes will attach to the pedals. I will likely buy a package of classes to supplement my current. training regimen of Orangetheory Fitness, running and yoga. Super glad to have this studio in my neighborhood!
