He's nearing his days and I wanted to order hospice care for him. First off, the on-call receptionist wasn't pleasant to speak to. If you hated your job, don't be in this field or give your position to someone else who would be grateful to help. I'm not expecting to be catered to, but at least be happy to help and answer a patient's call when we are in need. After all, you're in the business to help. Secondly, when my call was transferred, I spoke to the doctor (a lady by the name of Dr. Tran, I believe) who was extremely rude. Show some empathy for goodness sakes. To think you can talk to patients the same way you did to me this morning, is mortifying. Why are you even in this field?! I get that it's Christmas and shit shows like you Dr, Tran go MIA, but show some empathy. When I ask you for help, don't tell me to "it's not gonna happen today". Also to tell me, "no one will work because it's Saturday and it's Christmas" with an attitude?!?! What kind of whack reply is that? A doctor's reply at that. Lady, you have no business being in this field. I was able to contact a friend nurse who showed empathy and urgency and yes, she works on Christmas! She will be seeing my grandpa in an hour.
