My 99 year old mother has had the Bruno Elan chair lift for just over 2 years. It has been a lifesaver for sure. Originally the installation was quick and seamless. The only problem we have is aluminum sharp debris left on stair steps, resulted in foot injury to my wife when she stepped downstairs bare footed. The staff name Israel has major attitude , he has no clue of what's going on with the actual repair and insisted on replacing the circuit board that would cost any where from $500-1700. When asked , how do you know if the circuit board is bad with out testing it. He said it's a common problem with the bruno lift. My gutt feeling telling me not to trust this idiot . Lucky , i have two lift units so i decided to test the circuit board myself by swapping it to another bruno lift. Whaaamm ,, cicrcuit board is working fine! I cannot say enough positive things about Israel and his team at Gamburd. I work for a large film festival in Los Angeles and we had a special request. We needed a safe and smooth way to get an important guest down about 100 stairs in an old theater to the stage. We could not install a ramp due to the incline and a wall chair was not an option. When I thought we would never have an option, in came Israel. We rented a Scalamobil system from Israel and he set us up with an A+ operator, Brian. Even though these one day rentals are not typical for Gamburd, Israel worked with us to get us what we needed. Not only was the apparatus perfect for us but the gentleman he sent to operate it, Brian, was even better. Gamburd came in and inspected my old overhead lift unit and gave me the news I already knew, it was dead and needed replacing. They ordered the new unit and installed it at a time that was convenient to me. A few weeks later there was an issue with the unit and they came out that very evening and did a repair. A couple of weeks later the unit malfunctioned again. They knew exactly what was wrong and ordered the part. They came back as soon as the part was in and replaced the faulty part. I contacted this company after finding them online during an internet search to find a stair lift for my home. My mother had seriously injured herself in a fall at home and needed a lift in order that she could return home from the hospital. I was immediately contacted by a sales rep who sent me some information and gave a complete and thorough picture of the products they offered and the price points for each one. It is with great enthusiasm I share my experience with Gamburd. I first found Israel 8 years ago when my father's health started to decline and we needed a stair chair and support bars. Israel was absolutely wonderful, both sensitive and efficient.
