While we might be a bit biased, our guests confirmed it, saying they'd "never seen such an empty room of tables because everyone was on the dance floor!" Guests couldn't stop raving about how they couldn't leave the dance floor and had endless compliments for both the DJ and MC. We had Mike as our MC, and while we don't recall the DJ's name, he was phenomenal. I know some reviews mentioned DJs not playing requested songs, and while a few of our requests weren't played, we're actually so thankful for that. We have used EK Event Group in the past for parties but after using them recently for my son's Bar…read moreMitzvah in June 2024, It is unfortunate to say they have gone down hill. Evan the owner was arrogant and rude to me throughout the process. I stuck with it knowing that we had a good experience in the past. Songs that I requested that were on my plan, were not played. My photomontage had to be edited 3 times and we had to pay $450 extra because I had 30 extra pictures. A week before the party, he told me my package didn't include lighting so we had to pay $1000 extra for some mediocre colored strobe lights. Most of all, the digital zap photos that were on the contract were never taken and played on the 2 large screens that we paid for and he refused to make his mistake right and give any reimbursement after we took care of his crew during the event and gave them each a nice tip. In addition, their prices have gone up tremendously over the years. If you want a good experience, I would recommend looking at other companies for your entertainment.
