Sudden changes in life habits and health can be very traumatizing and disorienting for seniors and their families, and so it was for my family when my father took a severe fall and could not return home to his "normal" life. Sue Hoppe was our contact and she was a dream come true. My mother was recently hospitalized and then to our horror put on hospice. We were told my mother could not come home and needed to go into a facility. We were given 3 brochures of companies that helped people like us find a "Board & Care" facility. After our initial interview of the 3 companies, we decided to work with Homa Rostami, a representative of Life Options for Seniors. It was the greatest decision we ever made. Homa, became our rock during this whole ordeal. She found a great place for my mom within our budget; she also helped us with moving some on my mom's belongings to her new home. Like stated on their brochure, Homa was our communication Hub. She was in constant contact with home health personnel, case managers at the hospital and the hospice agency to ensure that everything was in place before we moved my mom and allowed us to focus on the most important thing, spending time with my mom. Homa was our savior and we cannot say enough about her. I am so glad people like her exits. Homa made this unpleasant experience bearable and we are forever grateful.
