My first call to them was with James who instantly made me feel they were the company we wanted and they were willing to get us care within 2 days. Tiffany, the case manager, is both very professional and also very caring and personal. She came the first day with the first caregiver to make sure we were all set. Their policies are generous and they are incredibly flexible and willing to pivot when needed. Our goal was to get my mom to independence. We had 2 very different caregivers and both were wonderful. My mom got to independence earlier than expected and we cut a few days off our original plan. I FULLY recommend this wonderful company!

She is getting eight hours of care a day, seven days per week! Every day is excellent. They are always on time. I mean always!! My sister is so happy when I call her. She receives three home cooked meals a day and she loves each meal, believe me. Home Care Assistance is so helpful with bathing, hygiene, safely walking in the home and meal preparation. They get her groceries and medications at the pharmacy too. I do not have to worry about my sister's care anymore. These professionals worked well with the private service (Respect Your Elders Care, Inc.) that we had in place. I would not hesitate to work with Green Valley Hospice again if the need should arise.

Hospice is supposed to be comfort care - but instead I had to advocate even harder for basic care for my dad than I did before he was under hospice care, at a time when he was actively dying and I was most overwhelmed, sad and uncertain.

During a time when so many families are involuntarily estranged by COVID-19 restrictions, I really grappled with the grim possibility that my wonderful mom, ravaged by cancer, would spend her final days alone in a hospital. I jumped at the chance to care for her at home when the oncologist uttered the phrase "palliative care," a phrase I dreaded as I had relented quietly to myself as the next logical step. Blossom Ridge facilitated everything, from transport to furnishing the bed, medications, and equipment. I can't emphasize enough how exceptional hospice nurses and home health aides are. As savvy a medical pro as my husband is, there were times he admitted some things were just above his punching weight, and the nurses never hesitated to provide guidance during those dark days. I was able to spend my mom's final moments by her side, and Blossom Ridge made that possible.

He also suggested a home-help product I didn't think I needed (but turns out I do), that will help me shower more safely. I have been so impressed w/ everyone from Blossom Ridge. Today I wanted to focus on Cody as he's completed his part in my care. Thanks Cody!
