Quality of service was dismal. Literally ripped stuff off walls and ruined paint. Came in for a moving clean and rushed in did a poor job and left a beep of garbage to be removed in back yard. No communication to another bad review I placed on Google. read more

I am so pleased that my daughter referred this company to me almost 3 years ago. This team is like no other that I have experienced in hiring home cleaning service. They delve into every corner and go beyond.... without being asked to. They just anticipate what needs attention, and add that to their duties. They are such a busy team but arrive all smiles. It is obvious that they enjoy their job. Perfection seems to be their mantra. The home just "sparkles". We could not be more pleased! read more

The cleaning was average but the administrative staff are a real pain to deal with. Note: The company puts the entire cleaning fee on your credit card before you have the service. They hold the amount on your card. If they cancel or rebook for another time (which they have numerous times) you are left hanging trying to find another cleaner. They call you and email a few times before the booking. They also like to 'follow up' by calling you to 'see how the cleaning was.' It's annoying. I'm in a hectic business and don't have any time to respond to all of this communications. The hold on the credit card is really offside. Stop using them. There's too many other cleaning options out there. read more

Possibly the most disappointing cleaning experience ever. For 2 cleaners coming into a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 hours (paid almost $200!), they barely lifted a finger. The previous tenants had moved in such a hurry that they didn't clean up any spills, or wipe anything down so dust and sticky unknowns had accumulated in the solarium and kitchen. We paid for the Moving-In/Moving-Out service so it'd be ready before we moved into the apartment. From their website: Let us help you alleviate the stresses of moving by making sure your new home is sparkling clean, fresh and nothing less than perfect. This is FAR from what we got. In fact, it was the absolute opposite. Everything listed that would be done on the website? NOT AT ALL. Baseboards were not cleaned. All sticky residue was left on all counters and floor. Cabinets were as dirty as we found them. Don't even get me started on the stove top. Promises of steam-mopped floors, cleaned mirrors, and tracks were broken. Talk about making a stressful move even more stressful. Coming back to the apartment, expecting a "sparkling clean, fresh, and nothing less than perfect" feel, only to see it be exactly as dirty as it was when I left and having to clean the whole damn place myself, was juuuuuuuuuuust what I was looking for! THANKS LME. If I could give them negative stars - would they be called black holes? - I would. read more

BEWARE! THEY CAUSE OVER 400 DOLLARS IN DAMAGE TO MY BELONGINGS I've used Life Maid Easy for 3 years. There service is only "ok", nothing special and they are a bit over priced for what you get. The last time they cleaned my place, they caused damage to my flat screen monitors and refused to compensate me (even with a free cleaning!). BEWARE when using this service, that they do not have insurance (or just don't want to use it) and any damage they do to your stuff will be your own responsibility. It is not worth the risk. Choose from these other cleaning companies, I have started using MollyMaids and they do a far superior job and are a bit cheaper too. read more

If I could rate it zero stars, I would. I tried this service because I was in a hurry... bad mistake. I was quoted one rate on the phone, saw a different (cheaper) rate on the job ticket the cleaners showed me and then was emailed an entirely different rate on the final invoice (much more expensive). I've sent an email to the business and I'm awaiting a response to see what will be done. The bottom line is though, they did a HORRIBLE JOB cleaning. Dirt left in the apartment, areas of the apartment not even cleaned. Blinds left dirty, walls left dirty. Obviously I'll never hire them again. Horrible, horrible company. read more

Few months ago I saw a good deal on Groupon so I thought it won't hurt to try even though the reviews weren't so highly rated. A bit skeptical and worried but I spoke with Michael, he was so friendly and helpful I told him exactly what I wanted to see, what my concern were and when I needed my place to be clean by. I am very picky and I was amazed at how good of a job they did in such a short amount of time. If they have the promo on Groupon again I'd purchase a couple more as gifts for people to try their service as well. Highly recommended!! Thank you Life Maid Easy ! read more

Life Maid Easy did an amazing job cleaning my whole apartment. I had: 1. My whole house cleaned, 2. Balcony cleaned 3. Carpets washed 4. Upholstery cleaned They waited for me to make sure everything was done right. They even left amazing chocolate as a gift. LME did a great job. Will definitely use them again. read more

Another BEWARE! I can not recommend LME. I used them for around two years at our condo (second home) in Cole Harbour. In the beginning they were friendly & courteous. I even provided free secure parking. 2bedrooms with carpet and 2,1/2bathrooms was too much for a two person team. No dogs, no kids two persons only. Our condo is actually spotless, it was still nice to pay someone to come around to do a final clean for when we were not there. All too much? The first sloppy cleaning was redone with no charge by a different than usual team only for them to come in and smash the corners with their vacuuming. I was left waiting for days for an explanation or solution only to be 'told off' in an instant that LME can no longer deliver the service I require. Something seems to be wrong here...too much work? Too little workers? I don't know... use someone else rather, good chance you'll be in better hands. I emailed LME to explain to me why they can no longer clean our condo, I am still waiting for an answer. Via BBB they suddenly said 'let's talk', too little too late. I'm not going to run back after LME dropped me. read more

Just had my first cleaning done with Life Made Easy and I'm very satisfied with the job done! I'm expecting guests for the holidays and having two dogs, I thought it would be a good idea to leave the cleaning to professionals (while I go out gift shopping!). I was looking specifically for a company that used non toxic cleaning products and was assured all of their cleaning supplies were safe. My place was spotless! Since I will be doing a lot of entertaining and cooking, I requested the kitchen and especially the stove to be sparking clean. All of the hard to reach areas were dusted and wiped down. The maids definitely pay attention to detail. You would never guess two dogs also live here! The 10% off first time cleaning was a nice touch and the reuseable bag left for me is cute, too! I will definitely be booking another cleaning appointment after the holidays! read more

We have used this company for a few years. They have a high turn over, charge too much, and won't notify you if there's a cancellation on several occasions. Bad communication between head office staff and cleaners leaving the client wondering when/if the cleaners will show up. Our main cleaner (Tess) was good, but she had a new trainee every few weeks, which made for less efficiency. We have decided to cancel because of repeated failed show-up's. Over-priced and same excuses every time you call head office to complain. Moving on to another company! read more

Sent an e-mail to Jacob on Friday to review the scope of work for a large 11 unit scope of work project. They did reach out to us on the following day via Monday which was appreciated, however, given the number of companies that we tried to reach out to we needed them to send a proposal in as requested in the e-mail. It's good to hear voice to voice connection none the less which is something that seems to lack in the business world in general. The quote came from New Clean Living which confused me a bit. They were the only company that bothered to read our proposal and based on said proposal gave us a professional PDF estimate that was nicely presented to us. With that said they did an awesome job, very friendly people and great at following directions. read more

I used this service today and they were AWESOME!! I wasn't home but my friend was here... She said they were courteous, funny and most of all... EFFICIENT! The place looks great and it was worth every penny! They did all the things I didn't want to (or have the time to) do... They even offered to do my laundry! They were good with my snooping dogs and still got the job done... RECOMMEND HIGHLY!! Shout out to Tess and Rochelle! PS... Their attention to detail is unsurpassable! read more

horrible service, completely unreliable we've tried to hire them 2 times the first time we couldn't get ahold of them couldn't get ahold of them, finally did they got in 3 hours late. today they sent us a confirmation email we replied and they never showed up. my wife called and called and called. finally got ahold them they said it was not in there calendar, after they sent US the confirmation email. this company is a joke, save your money and look elsewhere because they are useless to deal with read more

We had a move out clean done today and it was awesome. When I called the service was very professional and the cleaners were the same. Very nice girls and they did a fantastic job. Price was exactly what they quoted me. Highly recommended read more

Really pleased with the service! I've used other maid services before, with decent results, but never enough to want continued service. When I originally heard about Life Maid Easy, I was interested in the fact that they're "eco-friendly", I've found my son can be quite sensitive to chemicals when used in the house. I strive to use natural cleaners in the house when I can, but never know if maid services will do the same. The life maid easy service staff was friendly right from the get-go, which was a plus, and when I returned to our 2br apartment later on in the day, I was really pleased with the level of cleaning they provided. I did a check-up of the kitchen and bathroom in particular, and found the cleaning to be very thorough. Would recommend, and will definitely use them again! read more

We've been living in our place for the last 5 months and shared the cleaning duties up until now but with 2 bachelors there's only so much cleaning that actually gets done. I did a quick search online and came across Life Maid Easy. The ladies showed up promptly at the appointed time. I quickly showed them around and then left them to their job. When I came back later that day it was like walking into a new home. The bathrooms needed some love and they were absolutely spotless. I had tried and failed to remove the grime build up before. Thanks to the 2 ladies there was no mark to speak of. The whole process was an absolute pleasure. I'll probably look into using them on a regular basis in the future. By the way; their prices are similar to other cleaning services I researched. read more

Have been using LME for 5+ years and found them to be consistently good and pleasant to deal with. I usually check the house before they leave to ensure nothing was missed, and if it was they attend to it before leaving. Once I noticed a bathtub had been missed - but not until the next day. I called in and someone came that same day to clean the tub. They are recently under new management which I have found brought up the level of customer service as they now regularly follow up by phone after appointments to check the job of the cleaners. I went through 4 or 5 other companies before finding them and they are far superior. read more

I saw that they were having a spring cleaning special and with the awesome weather we've been having I figured it was time to make things look as good inside as they have been outside. I was able to arrange a time for when I wanted, and they did a great job getting my place clean. Our apartment is pretty old so dust tends to be an issue, but they got rid of it so I can actually breath the fresh Spring air again! Nice people, definitely helps having the spring cleaning discount. I would call them again in the future for another clean sometime. Give specifics if you are picky, but they covered my needs and then some. read more

I had one okay experience with Life Maid Easy and then it went downhill. They pulled a no show, didn't even call or email and I had to contact them and ask if they were coming. I wasted my time going out of my way to be home during the time they were apparently available and I didn't even receive an apology. They have the most frustrating team that does their bookings, you ask for specific dates and they come back to you with completely different dates and times. It's ridiculous. I definitely will NOT be using them again. read more

Fantastic company! I'd never used a cleaning company before so I was very skeptical but decided to give it a shot. Over the phone they were very friendly and helpful, the reception I got from them was exactly what I was looking for as a first time customer. They quoted me a fair amount for what I was asking and needless to say the job done on my place was fantastic. I have a small suite inside a bigger house and they were discreet and professional in every manor. The place was spotless, there's no way I could have done what they did in the amount of time they had. I'll definitely be using this service again. Such a great experience for a first time customer. I wish more businesses had standards this high. read more

I used their service for a few years and they were good before. You get to know the ladies and you can ask for the ones that are better. You needed to check everything though. You cant just leave everything to them. BUT, their management is changed in Vancouver. I had a problem, I sent multiple emails and left messages, it took them 8 days before they return my call. 8 Days! The last service I received was not good, and the ladies were rude came late and left early they said they paid for parking for 2 h. Although they had to be at my place for 2 h. They didn't clean the obvious places like vacuum behind doors or back splash wall of the kitchen above stove or the bathroom sink! and they said their time is up. Lately every time they come if they don't want to steam the floor they say their steamer is broken The management after multiple complaints emailed and said they will give me a 50% discount for my next service. This is our new year and now 2 days before the service they canceled the service. ****You cannot trust their service anymore ****If you have a problem, good luck getting it resolved. ****Worse service from management read more

We were very disappointed at the results after 6 full hours of deep cleaning with two professional cleaners. (length of time was quoted by them based on a the specs of the home) The main issues were: No ladders were used. During the initial booking, I explicitly mentioned that we have high, 10', ceilings on the main floor, and I advised that ladders would be necessary. The cleaners arrived without ladders or even step stools and were not able to clean anything close to where it was necessary. i.e. top of the kitchen hood, top of the kitchen cabinets, top of the windows. Grim was still visible around the shower drains. Grim was still visible around a lot of the window sills. Grim was still visible around the plumbing fixtures. Dust was present on several quartz countertops. (yes dust) Dirt (and lotion) that was not stubborn (my wife was able to easily remove with her fingers) was present on several quartz countertops. Lighting fixtures were not touched at all, and they were obviously dirty. Some toilet seats were not cleaned well. The kitchen hood did not appear to have been cleaned, it looks just as dirty as it was when we took possession of the home. Light switches were not touched. The cleaners did not check in at the end of their job, they simply said they have to go and left. The fact that the high contact surfaces such as plumbing fixtures and light switches were not touched makes us have a great amount of doubt that the house was deep cleaned, nevermind sanitized. This is especially worrying due to the times we are currently in. Overall, we are very disappointed at the results. Here is a link to the photos that my wife took: https://photos.app.goo.gl/JkC7SheXHkibTqYB6 I gave them this feedback and a bunch of excuses were returned without any admission of fault: They claimed the place was 2900 sq ft. I know for a fact that it is 1925 sq ft. I told them 1900 sq on the initial call as an estimate. They also claim that my wife was in the way of cleaning when they were on separate floors, when they did not mention anything like this during the cleaning. They offered to bring the same team back into our home and give us a free hour of cleaning if we paid for one hour of cleaning. I have no faith in the team after the initial experience, and have no plans to bring them back. read more

My office called for Life Maid Easy once and that time the service was great. So I called for cleaning a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment which is almost vacant with no furniture in the living room. I have cleaned the place a day before, only the kitchen and bathrooms need more attention. Two cleaners came that day at 2pm, my husband opened for them and leave them there to clean. When he returned 2 hours later they were still cleaning. He said most of the time the cleaners were chatting, they did not even clean kitchen cabinets inside and the fridge. You have to tell them to do so. A booking of 2.5 hours job, finally it took them almost 5 hours to finish, and my bill was over $420. I filed my complaint to their office, someone called me back and said he will check with the cleaners and get back to me but he never call back and only sent me the bill. A very poor customer service and cleaning staff. Now I have to pay for someone chatting and not doing their job. read more

I was desperate for a last minute basic cleaning of my condo. They were fairly prompt in calling me back as I had called before opening hours. They were able to accommodate my request and had 2 cleaners and a 2 hours window for me the next morning. They arrived a few minutes early and got straight to work and finished early also. They were very friendly and did a great job. Took a pile of stress off my busy plate and I also felt comfortable to leave them in my home while I ran errands. By finishing early, they also saved me some money which is certainly appreciated. I have tried a few cleaning companies as I usually am looking for a last minute clean and will get whoever is available, but in the future I would definitely want to continue to use this company. read more

I contacted Life Maid Easy for a Move In/Move Out service for an apartment that needed an extremely heavy duty cleaning. I was quoted 3.5 hours so I went ahead and booked. The two cleaners arrived on time and were very pleasant. They cleaned for the full 3.5 hours, even though there was still chaos going on with last minute moving of furniture etc. When they left, the place looked great. However, a bit later I did notice some spots that were missed- I contacted the company and they promptly scheduled time to send the cleaners back for a 1 hour touch-up, free of charge. After the touch-up, the place looks brand new! They were also very apologetic for missing certain areas and put in their best effort to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Overall, I was very happy with the outcome and the service. I will definitely use Life Maid Easy the next time my place is due for a clean! read more

Extremely pleased with this company. Arrived on time, friendly, efficient. Like their eco-friendly products. Would recommend and would use them again. read more

I had used this company a few time and it is very hard to schedule a service. Although they appear to be a very big company they must have a company answering their calls for them. (As a returning customer not sure why they would want the square footage of your home when you know you only want 3 hours of cleaning). After being promised a return call with a cleaning date and time, it never happened. I then left another message again asking them to call and confirm an appointment, a week later it never happened. So don't hold your breath waiting for them. Find someone else and don't waste your time with them especially because they are VERY expensive. read more

awful. absolutely awful from the cleaning that they provided, right down to the customer service. avoid these guys at all costs. there are so many other cleaning services in vancouver and green cleaning services that are much, much better. take the time to find them. i promise you'll be happy that you did. i requested to have an empty apartment cleaned by life maid easy. it had already been well cleaned by the previous tenants. the carpets had been steam cleaned and the walls painted. all that was needed was a cleaning of the fridge, stove and bathroom to make it sparkling before we moved in. the landlord who lives upstairs, went in before the cleaners arrived and then again after they left. he sent me an email to tell me that i shouldn't pay for the service that they provided as they didn't do anything. i thought that he was being too picky. i wanted to decide for myself whether or not the place was clean. i could not believe what an awful job the cleaners had done. the company sent 2 cleaners who claimed to spend 2 hours cleaning. it cost me $178.00. it was a complete waste of money. the stove was filthy under the burners. the fridge had remnants of food on the shelves. there were cobwebs in very obvious places (that would have been wiped away if they would have done the work that they claimed to do). in short, they did a terrible job. when i contacted the company to complain, they offered to send the cleaners back. why would i want them to come back when they did such an awful job to begin with. when i asked for my money back, i was ignored. it has been 2 months and i've never heard back from them. i have recently had my apartment cleaned with a different cleaning company in vancouver and i was very, very happy with the work that they did. it took one woman, 2 hours to make the place sparkle. she did so much more in the 2 hours that she worked alone than the 2 cleaners from life maid easy did in their 2 hours together. i highly recommend Linda's Cleaning Service. it's a shame that they blew me off. bad plan if you want to build a successful business. read more

Hired them to clean my home in preparation to be listed on MLS. Forced to pay for two cleaners and the job was TERRIBLE. My Life Maid Easy experience was: Inconsistent quality of work between cleanings (some cleaning teams were good but most were slow, on their phones while working, spending their time doing ineffective unnecessary things like dusting throw pillows and the couch for 10 minutes; did a really superficial vaccuming job e.g., didn't move anything when they vaccumed, did not vaccum in corners, left visible debris behind on floor - I actually revaccumed after they left on occasion); repeated and constant scheduling problems on the company's end; waiting around for cleaners who never showed up; repeated over billing errors, cleaners repeatedly leaving cleanings 15 - 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled time; addressing these issues with the phone staff repeatedly and the same issues occuring again and again and again. Does this sound "easy"? The number of problems I encountered was almost unbelievable and between all of these issues, receiving services cost me more time and effort than it saved. Not worth it. read more
