X-rays get taken and then they are to be sent 3 business days to my doctors. I got the x-rays taken on Saturday. Greig Associates at Oakridge didn't send them. What are the workers there doing?!? It is one week later and I still do not know my x-ray results. Doctors need to see x-ray results to know how to treat me. Do I have an infection?!? This is not funny it is fundamental procedure to make sure to send results to my doctors. My results should have been sent to my doctors by Wednesday. Thursday at the latest. BUT NO!!! When I called Greig Associates ONE WEEK 7 days LATER the following Saturday to asked what happened? The receptionist just lied and said it was sent when it wasn't. Ya, sure it was sent only after my doctor requested the results and it arrived to his office Friday. But this does not help me because it is now the weekend and my doctor office is closed so I will have to wait another few days to get the results and get medical care. All the while I keep coughing and not sleeping well. Also, during the x-ray the man taking the x-rays kept asking me to move my shoulders forward and was pushing on my shoulders that made me feel pain. My shoulders are already as forward as far as I can go. Unacceptable all the way around!!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

Bad news: this will depend on which x-ray tech you get, but the x-ray tech I was pretty surly before I even had a chance to interact with him. He was also pretty bad at giving directions and got annoyed because I couldn't read his mind, e.g., he'd say "move your leg" and seemed unhappy that I didn't know which leg he was referring to and where to move it to. If people knew everything necessary to take an x-ray, x-ray techs wouldn't be necessary! On another visit, the x-ray tech positioned me in the wrong place multiple times and I got a couple of extra doses of radiation because the tech didn't set me up appropriately. X-rays give you relatively small doses of radiation, but it's still not great to get extra radiation because someone else messed up.

So you are assured a spot and a time, with minimal waiting. -large and bright office, and impeccably clean. -FREE WI-FI. (This is a real rarity at other lab sites). -more services are offered here than at many other LifeLab sites. Examples: EKG's, cardiac holder monitors, etc. -Professionalism of staff. A female checked me in (I didn't get her name) and although she was somewhat aloof, she was thorough and organized and I had zero wait time. My tech was Ian and he was phenomenal. I have had to get cardiac monitors and EKG's frequently and he was the most thorough when it came to instructions and, wow, they even provide you with a mesh "vest" over the monitor (I never got that before, and it made a huge difference in comfort level and stability). And even upon returning the following day, the staff here remembered me and the whole "disconnect and drop-off" experience was, dare I say, pleasant. My experiences at this site were unlike any I've had at other LifeLabs, and this will be the only site I go to from here on in, for sure.

I prefer this location over many of the others in the vicinity.

During the whole conversation, she is not in a patient tone in explaining to me if I'm eligible to do it even I have already claimed my situation at the beginning that my sister have diagnosed with breast cancer, and during the call, she says there are few requirement in order to meet for doing the breast screening and she said first is the close relative such as mom, sister have diagnosed with breast cancer (which I have already mentioned), and she said I need to provide proof to that, and when I asked her what I need to bring to proof, she says, "well, I don't have the same gene as you, how do I know about your family history?" I was shocked at that moment! Firstly, this is a place for providing medical services, I didn't expect that the receptionists here are lack of sense of humor! I'm calling in to seek for medical info due to the reason that my family member got cancer and see if I'm eligible to do breast screening even if I'm under 40. Of cause I know you don't have the same gene as me! I was not expecting to receive very good service from a medical service authority, but respect and a sense of humor are a must as you're providing professional services and you're representing your company! As a medical service receptionist, do you think it's appropriate to say these kinds of things to a person when her sister is already diagnosed with cancer? I have never been treated by a medical service receptionist in such a mean way. To be honest, I think it is a must to have phone recording system for this company so then they can check back on the calls when there's any issues and complaints as the receptionists here are not acting professional enough to their patients or customers. After all, she told me I can come to the office to have the screening service done (in a better tone), which is the answer to my original question! Then why you have to treat people in such a mean way at the beginning before providing me the answer to my question?

Why are you still wearing latex? Next...I'm here to get a pelvic ultrasound. It's like my zillionth, so nothing surprising (if you've never had one, prepare to hold an extreme amount of pee in for external exam, THEN they'll ask you to go pee, then they do an internal exam). My biggest concern: they're up yer arse entering with masks & hand sanitizing, but the bathrooms have no paper towels, no sanitizer...so you're expected to pee in a cup, then wash your hands in a public (germy) bathroom, then physically turn off taps, blow dryer ONLY (so more germy wind), then open the door with your bare hands!!! And no hand sanitizing stations in between (please), or hand towels in the loo. PLEASE either install paper towels in the bathroom OR hand sanitizer stations just outside. OMG why nothing to protect me?????? Especially after the drastic front-of-house stringency!!??!! I'm absolutely shocked at the disparage between front of house vs back of house (washrooms). (You're required to empty your bladder for a pelvic ultrasound, and they also collect urine samples, so washroom use is required). Add to this: I've had many pelvic ultrasounds, my tech was friendly but frankly hurt me soooo much, I'm still bleeding. Maybe she saw something I need to know about, but otherwise she tore me to pieces! In all my 20+ years, I've never.... Front of house: 5/5, back of house 0/5 (gross bathroom situations, tech made me bleed, room bin was overflowing & I couldn't dispose of my drapes & Kleenex properly, got ultrasound goop on my pants & panties, oh...did I mentioned she tore me to pieces???) I wanted to contact them directly, but that's not an option. Edit: I've updated my grading because the staff were very friendly, and they have extended hours, which helps out those of us who work daytime hours). There's free street parking in front and side streets.

There is a tray for valuables, and charging cord for your cell phone (which I really appreciated) I did the full body scan last time, and it was pretty uncomfortable to lie there for that long. They've upgraded now - it feels like a bed now. I was so comfortable during my scan, I actually fell asleep. They also have this headset type thing that you can watch Netflix or YouTube on. Customer service is pretty good and quick to respond to any questions. Booking process is fast and easy, albeit due to the popularity, you may have to book quite far in advance.
