To their credit, the business did take responsibility and reimbursed me for the full vet bill and medication costs. I truly appreciate that gesture it helped relieve some of the financial and emotional stress this situation caused. That said, Yelp discourages removing reviews that document genuine customer experiences, so rather than delete my original post, I'm editing it to reflect how the situation was resolved. WellGroomed ultimately did the right thing by covering the medical expenses, and I'm grateful for that. I still believe they have skilled groomers and do great work with many breeds, but this experience was a reminder that even premium services can have oversights. I hope the salon uses this as an opportunity to reinforce careful handling and post-groom checks for all pets so that no owner or pup has to go through something similar again.

Three has since oassed (2 due to age, 1 sick), currently Whitney (our miniature schnauzer) and Maibel (rescue dog) go to Brittany every 5 weeks. Both girls and our other dogs always look great! The groomer Carrie called me and updated me throughout the process, she let me know that before getting to some of the more 'annoying' mats for my kitty, she was going to have someone assist her. I sincerely appreciate the attention to my pets comfort and needs. She was able to get all of the mats shaved off and my 19 year old lady is happy as a clam now here at home. The groom looks phenomenal for all that had to be done, and the price, PHENOMENAL. I got to tip a larger amount because the price was so reasonable. I sincerely recommend this shop.
