I found Koreen after a couple visits w/another life coach left me feeling I could find a better match. Koreen had me to her home office, stationed inside a home gym. We sat facing each other in purple chairs where she asked what I was hoping to achieve. I explained my desire to learn tools to strengthen my assets and accept shortcomings, improving wherever possible. I'd had stuff creep up in life that impacted me mightily & felt my reactions/behaviors could benefit from outside input, unbiased observations, & homework that promoted accountability. Koreen offered all of it. I healed from the situation that brought me to her and continued to bring personal struggles/growth opportunities each visit. Koreen offered new ways to think, look at things, respond & never made me feel small or embarrassed or "bad". Quite the contrary, I grew, listened more, snapped less, my relationships were evolving/ flourishing & some were evaporating as I became empowered to give myself permission to admit that some no longer served me. I find myself thinking before I speak, her words in my ears. I quote her wise reminders almost daily. After awhile I asked about the gym, learning Koreen is also a trainer. Never once did she urge me to add fitness to my routine, although I grew to recognize that it was missing from my growth plan. I did add a day, then 2 & eventually 3 days weekly training with Koreen. This accelerated my feelings of improvement immensely! At this point I thank my lucky stars the 1st coach wasn't right for me because I've found a true asset in Koreen Anast. read more
