After having been to five stores looking for hiking boots, I have finally found my pair frustration…read morefree thanks to Britt! He was so helpful and knowledgeable and instead of leaving me to browse cluelessly he brought out pairs he thought would work for my mostly flat feet that were prone to pronation, and I also have a sensitive Achilles' tendon, which made finding mid level hiking boots super difficult to find. He also showed me a way to tie my boots to lock my heels down to make them more comfortable. Nowhere else have I gotten the attention that he offered and I really appreciated it! I never felt rushed even when I went back and forth between two pairs that were just different sizes for about 20 minutes. I will be back here again to pick up more gear for upcoming trips. I just wish the return policy would let you return products that just didn't work for you like REI within a year, but the customer service here trumps far above that and I'd rather take my business here. They have a great selection of women's boots and trekkers which can be difficult to find. Also here is the picture of how he tied the shoes in case anyone is wondering! After you do the knot and loops just continue leaving them like you normally would

At one time this company had credibility as a supplier of clothing and gear for serious hikers…read moreand outdoor enthusiasts . In 2017 Sports Direct a British company completes takeover of Eastern Mountain Sports, and Bob's Stores. They may have a few recognizable brand names on the shelves but it's not a real outdoors store anymore as I found out on a recent trip to buy clothing many of the styles were last years and the staff especially the night manager seemed confused when asked about a pair of Keen hiking boots sizing . I was also curious as to why I was told if I paid in cash I would receive 20% off ? Which seemed really odd . Perhaps the internet was down and the card machine didn't work or they were running some kind of scam ? . Either way I won't shop there anymore . I would recommend REI in Framingham a real outfitter .
