This outfitter doesn't deserve 1 star, no communication at all, already had hunting dates…read moreestablished, I received this hunt at an SCI convention auction, wanted to change our dates that was already set, 1st day of our hunt told us to stay at a hotel he would reimburse me, he was supposed to call the next day, never did gave him til 12 noon, then I went to the area tracked him down in a greasy spoon dump Cafe, when I approached him at the table he was surprised, he had 3 other hunters sitting at the table when I asked him for the money for the hotel, he was we will work it out, I said ok where is this hunting camp, anyway this guy drove us around he picked up chips from cameras no elk, few does n 1 small buck , he lied about the Indian reservation not allowing any elk hunting on the reservation, so I fact checked him, we'll n behold I showed him they charge $10,000 to hunt elk right in front of 2 other hunters, after 3 days of me driving myself to blinds cause whatever reason he had not to, oil wells, lots of junk cars running with exhaust pumping into gopher holes, I had enough, he said to come back in January- not one word after I tried repeatedly to contact him, Do not use this outfitter bad mojo

These guys were running around about 500 acres with radios trying to get us clients to believe there were elk there, which were not. Complete joke was Mr. Brett Heiner and his master lying hunt broker "Serge" who wouldn't give us "Heiners" number until we paid deposit...Wat a joke....avoid at all cost!

Loved red fleet when we visited last year so much, we drove 6 hours to come back and camp and share…read moreit with my girl scouts! They have hammock sites (where you could just set up hammocks to sleep in outside), teepees, RV sites, tent sites. Pretty much anything you could want. We went during the week and there was plenty of camping sites available. Though if it was full you would be right on top of your neighbors. Thankfully for us there was hardly anyone there. The camping area is not too far from the boat ramp. So it was easy to take our paddleboards and kayaks down and then drive back up and hit the water. The views here are so lovely. Really so unique. The reds and whites in the mountains and seeing all the rock layers. Make playing in the water pretty awesome. During the day there seemed to be a lot of users. Not as much as some of teh local lakes to me in Colorado but still busy. If you are wanting to rent a watercraft you would want to get there sooner rather than later. Not sure how their rental policy is working now as we brought our own kayaks and paddleboards this time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was calm and peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely come back.

I came back to this walking park for second time today. The atmosphere was very nice: joggers,…read morewalkers, dog walkers, and several families with children. The later were enjoying all aspects of the park, particularly the water. The park has very unique features. First, for its size, it's amazing the variety of trees it hosts. It also has a cute gazebo next to a small creek that is crossed by two small Japanese garden bridges. While the City could invest more in this park, it is still a very nice place to walk and relax - specially near the sunset of a sunny day!

We wanted a guide but they were booked so we got a raft instead. They were short staffed so they were not able to drop off the raft for us but they do offer shuttle service they pick up your car and move it to the spot when we are done. Charlie was super patient and knowledgeable. He knew where the fish were and certainly played a role in helping us catch them. Charlie's wife even made dessert for us to eat on the side of the river. Look for a 3 toed depression and look at multiple angles to catch the tracks in the sun and shadow. The Trail is easy to moderate with some up and down over sandstone so boots are the best option for footwear. The purple lupine were blooming in late May and made a striking contrast against the bright sand.
