The ladies behind the counter were singing and greeted me with huge smiles as soon as I walked in. I ordered the cinnamon bun latte from the October specials menu and it was DELICIOUS. So cinnamon-y, definitely sweet, but not too sweet, and creamy. I also snagged an Orams donut to go. I wasn't expecting to see such a large seating area in the room off to the right. I'll definitely plan to stay and work for an hour or two, next time. Can't wait to come back! Also, worth noting, the parking lot is small, but there are a ton of street spots nearby.

Id say in the past year, that i've seen the kitchen open about 2 times. No exaggeration whatsoever. There is always 1 or 2 people working and 3 signs taped over the order screens. It's an ongoing joke between coworkers now, betting on if the cafe is open.. since we started this joke 5 months ago, it's only been open on one of our visits. On an even more comical note; They just recently added a sign out front displaying their hours for the cafe. Sign said it closed at midnight (can't remember opening time) I walked in at 8:30pm 2 days ago and.. closed! On a real note though. Very clear that speedway isn't paying enough to keep this establishment even slightly staffed:(

It certainly doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's worth going. Service is kind of slow, but also the woman who has been there each of the three times we have been is incredibly friendly and kind. We are soft serve twist fans, so we have gotten that every time we've been. Haven't branched out for anything else. We saw pictures of the large so we had to give it a try. It's enormous haha! We (two adults, two toddlers) shared it along with a kiddie size and we probably could have gone without the kiddie. The ice cream is thick and creamy and just how soft serve should be. Occasionally you get kind of a light and airy soft serve at places like this, which is not my favorite. Ice cream therapy does it right.
