Kevin from Lice Happens is truly amazing. He is polite and professional and very easy to have around considering he was at our house for a few hours. He comes to your home prepared with everything that he needs and a tremendous amount of information. He not only calms your nerves but also teaches you a lot throughout the process. I was surprised to see that there is still a lot of misinformation circulating around about lice in general and how to take care of it. He came to our house, set up and then took care of everyone in our household. Throughout the time he was with us he was very nice and patient - answered all of our questions and concerns. I think my boys actually enjoyed having him around - barring all the combing/removing nits that was going on. They all seemed to have a nice chat. Kevin also tells you how to take care of the house (linens, upholstery, etc) and what to do going forward. He teaches you how to check and do followups so that you can prevent or at least catch any new instances of lice before it becomes a problem. Originally, I decided to call him based on all the positive reviews, the information that he has on his website and the fact that he is mobile. His fee is very reasonable - and worth every penny. I highly recommend him and his company to anyone who needs him. read more

Kevin Byram is a PRO - He is a very pleasant , kind young man with knowledge of his business and patient with his clients. Products used are not harmful and have no chemical odors. - His methods are trustworthy - He was on time and spent several hours in the privacy of our home to manage a very stressful situation. I can't say enough about how it was worth every penny to not have to do this alone. - It takes the stress right out of it. He even took the time to travel back and follow up because we had so much hair to deal with - he wanted to be certain he could leave knowing the job was as through as he could leave it - for us to continue our part in keeping the household lice free - so when Lice Happens to you - I highly recommend this is the man you call for help. - A million Thanks Kevin. read more

Sumi came to my apartment the same day I called for an appointment. She was lovely, professional, and extremely detailed in her care for my friends and for myself. It turns out I was the only one who had lice, but she did a very thorough double and even triple-check of my friends' heads, and spend a good amount of time combing through my very long hair to find and remove all nits and nymphs and lice. She showed us what she was doing, showed us the nits and other bits she found, and was very patient with all my questions. She did an excellent job educating me about next steps and how to continue combing out my hair for the next 2 weeks, and allaying all my fears. She was wonderful, and while I hope I never need her services again, I would know who to call and request! read more

I was absolutely horrified to learn my daughter had lice (first time). I called Lice Happens at 5pm on a Friday and spoke with the owner. I forget his name but I could not believe how kind he was. He knew I was freaking out. He was so supportive and understanding. He explained what to do at my house until someone could get there. He wasn't sure if he had anyone available to come that night but he made it happen. Emily was at my house by 6:30pm. She was beyond AMAZING! So professional, patient, and thorough. She was determined to remove every single nit and she did. Don't think twice about calling Lice Happens. They are absolutely fantastic! read more

Kevin was professional, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable. He showed up at my house only 2 hours after I called him in a panic. He was part bug detective, part therapist! Not only did he thoroughly check our entire family for lice and comb out my daughters head for almost two hours, he also put me at ease by explaining that "lice happens". He also educated us on how to prevent lice in the future. I felt his pricing was reasonable considering the amount of time he spent with us and the preventive tools and education he provided. Kevin also mentioned that he is willing to drive anywhere in greater boston/Massachusetts. read more

When the Pediatrician first told me my daughter had lice I began crying. I ran home and started throwing everything in the house in bags and in the laundry. I took a two minute break and on a whim called Lice Happens. Kevin picked up immediately and within 5 minutes of talking to him, I was much calmer and the tears stopped. He showed up the next morning and took care of my whole family. He was polite, professional, patient and provided a ton of educational information. He has been available for follow up questions as well. Kevin saved my sanity and I have nothing but praise for this service. read more

Kevin came to the rescue even though it was after his normal hours and extremely short notice. He was at our house in less than an hour and made us all feel at ease. He educated us about lice and how to prevent them in the future. He was extremely kind and patient with my kids who were loud, whiney, and rambunctious. He was also patient with me even though I was freaking out a bit and kept asking him the same questions over and over. I also had questions in the weeks following and he was very responsive and helpful each time I contacted him. I highly recommend him - worth every penny! read more

I was having trouble getting rid of my daughter's lice so I decided to call in the experts. Kevin and Jamie were great. They were able to come the day after I called and made us feel at ease immediately. They were obviously very knowledgeable about lice treatment and though they were at my house for a few hours, the time went quickly. They have a great rapport with people and a great banter with each other as well. When they left, I felt confident that the issue was resolved and that I knew how to do the follow-up checks to make sure the bugs were gone for good! read more

I called Lice Happens and they were at my house within a couple of hours. The representative was professional and knowledgeable. He explained the products they developed are pesticide free and would not harm my daughter. The treatment took about 2 hours and he showed me how to complete the daily 2 minute follow-up. Overall I was glad I called Lice Happens, they sure did save me the many hours of combing (as I had done in the past). He also called a couple of days later to ensure we had no issues. I highly recommend calling Lice Happens. read more

It's so surreal to invite someone into your home to help you deal with a problem like lice. And yet Kevin not only made sure we were all clear, he basically talked himself out of a job by all the things he taught me about how to prevent lice, figure out if someone has it, and treat it. I will definitely recommend this company to the next person I know who has this problem. read more
