This mall has an interesting layout. A lot of big box stores and a movie theater are attached to it but not really accessible from within. It's clean and bright inside but kind of desolate. There is a church taking up a considerable amount of the inside. Some restaurants and a couple of kiosks. It's kind of sad how the mall has gone by the wayside. It used to be a very convenient way to shop, but this one just doesn't have much to be desired. read more

This place is actually getting so much better ever since I started going there. There are new stores opening up and some grocery areas outside too. They also have sky zone inside, which is a nice addition for kids I wanted to play and then there is a new claw machine Area that opened recently so that's also fun for the kids mostly it's like shopping like five below or like Marshalls and some food places around the front of the mall. It's not too expensive either since it's a little further from the city so you get some deals. If you're just a little patient walking around in there the cafeteria is pretty quiet so far. I've only noticed to food stores in there so I would say there's not much of a selection and it's a good thing there are restaurants in front of the building. I'm sure I will be back at some point. read more

-10 0 stars this mall does not have wheelchair accessibility and or a security office in general I find this lack of accessibility is ableism at its finest and the intolerance for disabled guests is intolerable and needs to be changed along with the fact that I am also on the autism spectrum and an employee of the tmobile store at liberty tree mall laughed at me while stimming shows your mall could benefit from proper training. Do not reccomend anyone with any form of disability to come to this mall. read more

So as far as malls go, this one is probably hurting the most in the North Shore area. There is empty retail space, mediocre store offerings, and overall just 'meh.' Even the food court has limited options. However, there are a few things going for it. The mall itself is clean, I like that it's not over crowded. The Lowes Cinema is an anchor establishment here. Most of the time, I am here just seeing a movie. There is a convienent store called 'Liberty Times' which offers candy, snacks, and soda at a fraction of the price, so it's just dumb to shop at the concession in the movie theater. read more

This mall is surprisingly busy for what it is. Two out of three of the hallways are almost if not completely vacant. AMC, Marshalls, and The Food Court are the busiest spot that don't have exterior entrances. read more

This ghetto mall is way dead and quiet every time I come here!! Very depressing, many lousy and cheap stores. There are very lack of food restaurants in the mall cafeteria. The only thing I like is the Buffalo Wild Wings. The AMC movie theater is great, but the rest of the mall need to be demolished. It's the next Meadow Glen Mall. Used to be the only time I would go to this mall was to go to Vinnys, and I went yesterday & was SHOCKED... No More Vinnys, How dare Buffalo Wild Wings, How dare they!?!?! I just ran into Target & then to look at whats been done in the last few years... The only reason for the Liberty Mall is Target, and sometimes the AMC movie theatre. It is very outdated and filled with junk stores. However, if you happen to be stuck here, some mediocre stores that you can waste your time in include: Panera, Buffalo Wild Wings, Best Buy, Staples, A.C. Moore, DMV, Five Below, Marshalls, the little newsstore that has ecigarettes, hookahs, juices, grinders, scales, pipes, etc; and the very overpriced SkyJump. Other stores include Kohl's, Nordstrom Rack, Pier 1 Imports, Pet Express :(, Carter's, Payless, Wet Seal, Old Navy, a Piercing/Jewelry place, phone cases galore, Dollar Tree, Metro PCS, a hair salon, some cheaply made luggage and clothing stores and there is also a Kids play area that has a train that goes around the mall choo-ing. The food court is below average. It has Subway, Japanese, Chinese, Sushi, McDonalds, Regina Pizza (or Sbarro? either way crap), and Dunkin Donuts. In the lobby of the food court there are massage chairs, a photobooth, and some arcade games. There is also the military recruiting center for all branches by the Metro PCS store. I generally only come for Target, but if there was one over by the North Shore Mall I'm sure I would never need to return here. read more

Today its a disgrace for this Mall to be flying a torn & battered American Flag...in the rain..on Veterans Day weekend...not good!!

As much as I swore it would never happen, I have inevitably broken down and become one of those people -- I am now a Mall Walker. I worked in Malls (first Cambridgeside, then Copley) for more than half my life (literally) and I saw them all the time -- people who had nothing better to do than waste their time by walking in the mall all day. In the winter, it provided an opportunity to get out of the house. In the summer, it was a great place to go and cool off. I used to make fun of them, and now I *AM* them. I blame it on my daughter. Ever since her birth, I've taken her to the mall every week on my day off. It's a great way to kill time, get out of the cold (or heat) and relax. Maybe have a bite to eat in the food court. Maybe buy her some cute new outfits for the upcoming season. For whatever reason, mall walking became my new favorite activity. And, of course, seeing as she is the apple and I'm the tree, she loves it too. There hasn't been one mall trip that she hasn't been perfectly well-behaved on. With that being said, this is one of the malls closest to our house and we come here the most often. Yes, it is a little run-down and shabby. Yes, it's kind of ghetto. It has some stores that I would never be caught dead walking in. But, it also has some real gems! The majority of the "good" stores are actually located on the strip-mall part of the mall. All the stores (Nordie's Rack, Target, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Off Broadway Shoes) have their own separate entrances and are not accessible through the main part of the mall. I love the Nordie's Rack there. I could spend all day trying on shoes in their shoe section. Inside the mall, my favorite stores are Carter's (they just opened, and they're the BEST!), Marshall's (I get an awesome find every now and then), and Old Navy (it's a very big store, kinda hidden in a corner, and has a great selection and variety). I also always grab something to eat in the food court. Their food court is far superior to the nearby Northshore Mall. Oh, and of course, there's the Pet Express that I simply cannot walk by without going in and saying hello to all the adorable puppies. And, since the mall is so ghetto, even on a Saturday afternoon, I'm able to get parking and walk around the mall quite freely, while pushing my daughter in her stroller. Well, now that my secret's out, maybe it will start to get more crowded. Maybe I should knock my star rating down a few. read more

This is some weird combination of mall and shopping plaza. Many freestanding national chain/box retailers, all circling a desolate mall. It was tough to find an entrance. And even harder to find a directory to figure out where your destination was. Mall security would just point and say "that way". Leaving was just as confusing. read more

I love walking in this mall for excercise. It's a great location... love the movie theater and all the stores. It's so convenient. I hope it stays its size. What has this mall become? I miss Ann-N-Hope, I miss Lechmere, I miss the old tree in the middle of the mall. The only reasons to come in here is for Target, Kohls, Five Below, the EPIC Sushi Place (Sea Lion Sushi), Old Navy. The rest of the stores are crap. Why visit Sports Authority when Dick's is across the street? Best Buy? Seriously? Who actually buys stuff from that overpriced, unknowledgeable chain? Seriously? I'll be honest, I dislike all malls......but this one holds a special place in my nostalgia. Frankly it is not on my routes very often. But it is a full spectrum of helpful stores like Kohls and Bed and Bath and Beyond. These two together will get you nice coats and drapes in one trip. I had a nice experiecne at the cinemas as well, especially with the multiple popcorn toppings stations. This is an innivative addition! read more

If this were a rating based on atmosphere alone, Liberty tree would probably be getting one or two stars from me, but I do have to admit that some of the stores there are what keep me coming back since they're not over at the Northshore Mall - Old Navy, Best Buy, Wet Seal, Bed Bath & Beyond, Gamestop, etc. We pretty much refer to this mall as "the ghetto mall", since it's usually kind of dirty and many of the shops are pretty crappy/slutty. Tello's, Deb (though they do have really cheap dresses and a few non-hoochie clothes occasionally, I'll give them that), the RPG store, usually a deserted store or two with the bars up, etc. So if you're looking for something that you know this mall has a store for, or if you want a good movie theatre, it's great to go to. But if you're just looking to walk around and browse and not feel like you constantly need to dodge screaming children and walk around obsinate emo kids, head to the Northshore Mall instead. read more

This mall needs help. Simon charges far too much for rent, and with Northshore, and Square One both relatively nearby, and Burlington just a few minutes further down the road, there is very little, here, to make this a destination mall. As mentioned in other reviews, the theater, Best Buy, and Target are the only things keeping this whole mall afloat. Maybe Kohl's, too. If those businesses were to find other locations, this mall would go under. I think it would benefit from a massive makeover complete with an aggressive PR campaign. The theater is the best in the area, though, if you don't mind waiting a few weeks, a lot of the movies eventually shift over to nearby Hollywood Hits, where you can see them for just a little bit cheaper. Maybe they could just knock everything down and leave it as its own free-standing theater and let the few stores that last find new locations. read more

What the hell are they doing with this mall?? I agree with the others that the only highlights are Best Buy, Target, and the movie theater. Everything else seems to come and go within a few months. Every other time I come in here, I see that another store is going out of business or another one is hopelessly moving in. Is it all about the flavor of the month? The fact that the majority of this mall is made up of seasonal stores such as the junky Halloween shop is sad. If not for the movie theater I think they'd lose a lot of their foot traffic. Lechmere's....ahhh fond memories. Food court is the same story with the swapping out of restaurants. They had a great Subway at one point, but they got rid of that. Granted Sea Lion (the sushi place) is actually quite amazing, and I'm glad they are still in business. I have to review that place later. Otherwise it's an incredibly bland food court. Though this mall is pretty close to ghetto as a mall can get, I do appreciate the fact that it is an unpretentious mall. There are too many times where I go to "higher class" malls that I feel like I'm in a sea of fashion show wannabees and older people who have nothing else to do but blow their dollars in search of excitement. So there you have it - see a movie here, get sushi, buy some electronics, then peace out. read more

This place is a dump and probably one of weirdest, scariest malls in Eastern Mass. At one time this mall used to be a normal working mall, but now it is full of shuttered stores and vacant spaces and is a dumpy place with really just Best Buy and AMC IMAX holding the place together. It is run by Simon properties which in its own right is having a heck of a time retaining surviving malls, many which are closing or being demolished. Lets face facts, the days of the indoor shopping mall are over and it is a thing of the 80's/early 90's. Its all about outdoor shopping plazas with courtyards and fancy landscaping. They should just close this dump since it is on its last legs now. When you walk in and see a cell phone case store and a junky art store as your featured stores, its time to be done with the place. Horrible dead ghetto dump. The food court in this dump has a Sushi stand which is even more scary. read more

Liberty Tree Mall wanes in comparison to Northshore. Haven't been there in a while, but the last time I did I saw more people in the dept stores (Best Buy, Kohls, Marshalls, Target), and the movie theater, than in the actual mall itself, which was straight dead. Ghosttown. I think that pretty much sums up what Libby Tree has to offer. Do they still have that pet store? I used to love going there just to see all the cute pets they had. read more

I just don't get this as a "mall"...it's totally a strip mall to me. I've never ventured inside and frankly, based on the reviews, I'd like to keep it that way. I do come here quite often now, primarily for Target, Home Depot and Firehouse Subs. This is the mall for trailer trash. A few OK stores but mostly temporary garbage stores. Lots of low lives buying water pipes at the trashy stores. The pet shop makes me cry, because the animals, who I feel bad for, should be outside the cages, and the people from the mall inside them. I only go in here when I have to, which is hardly ever. read more

The ac moore in Danvers is not very nice place to shop some of the cashier are nice others are horrible the cashier patrick was not friendly at all looked like he didn't want to be there didn't even look up at me once when he rang a my sale and the manager John is very rude and the way he talks to his employees horrible extremely rude. I truly hate going to this place. The only time I'm ever here is when someone else drags me along or when I'm seeing a movie. I'm not sure how this place attracts enough business to keep the doors open. All of the new stores that open up here last like 3 months tops and then get shut down, realize the business sucks and they move locations, etc. The atmosphere is so blah and depressing. All of the stores are crappy minus Kohl's, but Kohl's has it's own separate entrance, so does it really even count? Maybe Marshalls if you're looking for some good quality discounted clothing. As someone who spent a lot of time in this mall as a child and as a young adult I just wanted to say that I have good memories of this place, and if Liberty Tree Mall has degenerated over time, then I would hope to see it re-vitalized in the near future. I remember the food court with the big 'tree' in the middle of it... and I remember how entertaining it was for me to stroll around this mall, walking around the mall, into and out of the shops, finding treasures... So, I hope that the next time I visit the North Shore of Boston I hope to see The Liberty Tree Mall in all its glory. read more

This mall was much better years ago. Half of the stores are empty. The mall has basically become a strip center. Target, Dollar Tree, Staples, Bed Bath & Beyond, Kohl's, and Sports Authority ALL have their own enterances. What else is annyoing is you have to walk outside to get to Target and Dollar Tree. As for tenants in the mall, the only un-temporary stores are like Radio Shack, Famous Footwear, and Waldenbooks. EVEN FYE HAS SHUT DOWN! The reason why I give 2 stars and not 1 is because of Sea Lion Sushi in the food court. My only reason for going to this mall. Its some of the best sushi I ever had. read more

when I was a kid, I really liked going here... you had Ann and Hope and Lechmere, two great anchor stores. The anchors are OK--Kohl's and Best Buy and Target but it has zero atmosphere and kiosk workers who look as though they're read to assault you. The food court is also medicore. I will say that i grew up in danvers and i still enjoy going to liberty tree over the north shore mall. It has more of a small town feel people aren't as stuck up i will say there are thins i miss about the mall. I miss the old stores that made it great like ann n hope lechmere and paperama. I miss the old tree but i will say i was disappointed when they took out suncoast and fye they should put more stores like that in there. read more
