They sent me the incorrect item and I have been emailing their customer service for a week now with no response at all.

I bought 12 place settings of the Sheffield pattern because I was so thrilled to find All American company. Being a RN, I am concerned about the toxic metals that are used in the Chinese-made flatware. This flatware is so wonderful, so balanced in design, so perfect, that I asked each of my four adult children to pick out their favorite pattern, and bought them flatware for Christmas gifts. We are all delighted with the beauty, quality, and Made in USA completely NON TOXIC Liberty flatware. I noticed that one person wrote on the Liberty website that she was disappointed her flatware was not as heavy as she would have hoped- the Sheffield is a beautifully weighted set. Each pattern, and actually each utensil, is weighted differently. It pays to order the three "sample/trial" utensils for only $9.95 so you can get the feel of the service before investing in a six or twelve-piece flatware set! This is long due, but in a way my delay in responding will be even better, as I am even more enthusiastic about my silveware then the first day I received them. I am so so happy we gave ourselves the gift of owning a Liberty Tabletop set of silverware, everyday is a gift of pleasure and luxury!!!! The whole experience was great, Kim in customer care will answer you and tallk and address your questions professionally and efficiently. But the real star here is the silverware, it's beautiful, great quality, so great it feels really preciuos in your hands, does't scratch, or loos shine. Its a great complement to our table and makes us enjoy our meals even more, and it's MADE IN THE U.S.A !!!!! I bought and received flatware for 12 from this company and really surprised and unhappy. It feels cheap and light. I have to clean each one with white cotton towel and still, the black residue is significant. After paying close to $200, you would assume it's ready to use but NOT. Seems Made in China STAMPED USA. A big mistake. read more

What I liked best was that I can order a "review" set of three patterns, called Samples. I ordered 2 sets because there were 6 I wanted to review. The samples are free; you just pay $8.95 shipping. It was a great way to get a feel and to see the patterns before actually purchasing. They were all beautiful but now I want to see the rest of them, too. after ordering samples, I decided on the prestige pattern, but could not afford it at the time...so began saving for it...then, before the holidays, and my birthday, it came on sale! so I ordered the service for 12...it came to the post office, and was placed in a locker...got it home, opened it up, and to my dismay, saw that almost half of the utensils were weakly stamped, or not done at all in places...was so upset, and disappointed that I shut the box and felt like crying...yea, stupid I know, but I was so looking forward to getting this sturdy, (pricey) American made flatware for a birthday gift to myself, then to have it all turn out bad.... called liberty, and she wanted to replace the bad pieces...told her I would have to ship half the box back...she then asked what I wanted to do...told her I wanted to return it for a refund...was told that I would have to pay to ship it back, unless I could send pics of the inferior pieces as proof...did just that, took many pics....heard nothing until I received the shipping label.... the biggest disappointment was, after getting the pictures, and getting the inferior utensils back, all they said was....'sorry for the inconvenience' not one word about being sorry for the bad stamping on half of the items, or maybe saying that they have looked into the problem and have corrected it, and we are sorry we did not produce the high quality of which we boast..or sorry to lose you as a customer.....nothing, just a generic, 'sorry for the inconvenience'....in closing, I truly felt as if they didn't give a damn about my business...this was a lesson learned for sure.... read more

Unfortunately, I responded to the owner's response to my review in what I did not realize was a private message. I will not attempt to recreate it here. Suffice it to say, He misread my review. I never mentioned a mailroom and we do not have a mailroom. We have a mailbox cluster. I am a law enforcement officer and ours were the last mailboxes that any of us would have expected would be burglarized. The owner is a victim of his own miserly disposition. I made an honest accounting to AMEX and provided them pictures of the vandalized mailboxes. Upon listening to my version of events and Liberty Tabletop's version, they sided with me. After reading the review posted after mine, I am very glad my shipment was stolen. Based on the two reviews of this business and the owner's response to me, I can't imagine anyone reading these would want to do business with Liberty Tabletop. Customer service clearly isn't a priority for them. read more
