A pest or a home inspection would never have detected this, as these critters only come out at night, nor would a pest company check for this unless they were told to specifically look because of the way the bed bugs work.. They hide in cracks, baseboards, imbed themselves under carpet, etc..... The previous owner was fully aware because this is not something that is NOT noticeable. We are now stuck with having to have a heat treatment by a professional pest company that is going to cost us $1,600.. This company and the Kibby Road LLC are snakes. They take advantage of tenants. I lived in a home…read morethat they bought in a lien sale. The original owner had signed a 1 year lease with me. The lease gave me permition to live there without paying rent as long as the utilities were paid cleaned up the place and protected the property from vandals. At the time of signing I didn't know the house was going up for a lien sale. When it sold we received a notice in the mail of the sale. I called Kibby Road LLC and told them of my ccontract. Next thing I get a 30 day notice. I was only into my contract 4 months. They didn't want to honor the contract we went to court and the judge ordered me to leave. Despite the contract they said they weren't going to honor it. I asked then if the could give me more time to find housing in such short notice but they wouldn't. we were packing trying to get out f there house but couldn't get it all done. We left but while we were gone our neighhbors called said people were removing things from the house. We went there and stayed. All we wanted to do was finish packing up and leave. They were suppose to keep our things safe. That's the law and they didn't. When they found us there packing I was on the phone with Kibby Road who didn't seem to have a problem so lonng as we were packing. but the Rental Zebra lied to her and said we broke into the house so therefore she ordered us out. When we went to get our things they had told there workers to throw our things around. This is the words from the workers mouths. They unpacked what was packed, put my bed on its headboard and threw around pictures. They don't care about people. There was no point for them to do any of this. I ended up sick and couldn't fight them. A cop told me I had a good case because he saw what they did but I didn't have the energy to fight. I believe in Karma and one day Karma will get you when you least expect it.

Maintenance requests have always been handled quickly, and the staff has been very accommodating with walk-throughs, allowing us to choose dates that work best for our schedule. During the time we have lived in our home, the roof has been replaced and the exterior has been repainted, and everything was clearly communicated with us ahead of time. John even stopped by one day to check on the paint and let us know that the owner would also be coming by to see it. He was extremely friendly, and we had a great experience speaking with him. My husband later had the opportunity to meet the owner of our home and absolutely adored him as well. I truly feel that properties managed by Five Star are held to a high standard and are well maintained. Having landscaping included is also a huge plus and makes a noticeable difference in how the properties are cared for. We have never had an issue with communication, and no one has ever been rude or unprofessional toward us. From the very beginning, when we first toured our current home, the staff has been nothing but kind, professional, and helpful. We were never charged a fee to view the home we live in. We have truly had a wonderful experience renting with Five Star and are very grateful for the home and service we have received over the past four years.
