So this is what happpend to us when we moved in with First Realty…read more Before we moved in, we thoroughly inspect the unit, and asked First Realty, changes which needs to be done before we move in. As once one settled in, its hard to do the cleanup and changes. As a part of the changes, we have asked for the Oven maintainence, Bathroom repair and carpetr change. Now, here what happened next. 1. In Auburn , lease end date is 31st of July and the move in date is 13th of Aug, where no one is reponsoble or will ever manage your accomodation for 13 days. 2. You have to pay the rent before you move in, and the next month due from 1st of Sep, which means , all of us are paying for 13 days for actually nothing. 3. We moved in, and its been almost a week, still the stove and the bathroom is not fixed. We are following up every day, sometime the manager does not pick up the phone, sometime the person just transfer the call knowing its not going to go anywhere. When we met them in person, the excuse was, there are lots of unit they have to manage. 4. Last but not the lease, for the oven, someone came and verified already, and after that, its been 5 days nothing happend, when we follow up (of course in person, and phone will do no good to you), they said that person is sick now, and someone new will come to do the same thing again and then it will take time to have things fixed. So, here we are, 13 days we have stayed in different friends place, Airbnb, spending money to buy food and to stay. Now its almost a month, we do have a place now to stay, but no option to cook and still spending money to eat outside and have no options.

It was literally cleaner than when I moved in, and I had pictures of every room and the carpet. He returned $416.50 and kept $533.50 citing petty reasons that were ridiculous. Folmar Realty Co Inc was the name on the check that I received. If I could give them a negative number review, I would.

My roommate and I pay less than 500 a month for rent and utilities (utilities can in fact get pretty pricy) and we are within a 5 minutes walk of central campus. I would agree they can be difficult to contact, specifically through email, but they will usually pick up calls. Your best bet to talk to someone is just to walk into the office, which works great since most properties are in a walking distance to them. We've had a few maintenance needs, such as a broken fridge shelf, and they will usually fix it within a few days of us pointing it out. They also send extermination about once a month to replace filters, which has prevented our older building from any issues with bugs. I've never had any issues with the portal we pay rent through, and they allow you to sublet if you alert them first. There are no pets allowed, but most people in my specific complex have dogs and cats. Free parking with a yearly pass, and key pads instead of keys (which is great for a forgetful student like myself)

Make certain ALL payments are made by check or other traceable form of payment. Finally, if you possibly can, choose dorm living, or purchase *something* for you or your student's duration at Auburn. (Via another real estate agent, of course). Our daughter is getting a great education, but if we had ANYTHING to do different, it would be to stay as far away as possible from Northcutt.

Really an 0 star company, only gave a 1 star because you have to select something. I will try and…read moresum this up but I know they will come back with some more lies so... Would never rent from them again!!! Move in ready=broken tile, missing blinds, filthy (food on walls, cabinets, and in drawers) floor grout was pretty much black but it was cleanable because my tineco cleaned it, human waste all over the toilet, the doors all had daylight coming thru, ceiling fan hanging on by wiring, sinks not attached, appliances broken, animals in the attic running around at night, faulty wiring, dryer exhaust clogged by inhabitants of rodents, mailbox that usps had refused to deliver to and so much more. This is their ideal of move in ready. As items were found they were notified. Shoot I even felt bad because they excessive amount of issues. But I was told they just got the property and they needed to know so they could fix it all. Well some things were addressed for instance they sent someone to look at the stove he attempted to fix it however the main burner didn't work he said he needed some parts and then he never came back. Same issue with the sink guy, he came and gave a price and that was the last we heard. But let's also keep in mind this was months down the road. At one point I was told (which I also have corresponding emails to prove) that the office had some drama going on and that was the reason our stuff wasn't taken care of. I was injured due to the negligence of the property's upkeep. So this is just some of the issues we lived and dealt with. So we moved out and they decided to take it upon themselves to break Alabama law on returning our refund. They never notified us of any charges and never returned the 2k we paid. We were patient and when we started to ask about our refund, we were never told anything about them keeping and we thought we were getting it back. Contacted the attorney generals office and they basically told the AG that the items that were existing prior to our move in were items we damaged. So the AG basi y said we have to seek the court system to try get our money back. It was then brought to light they stated we never returned the garage door opener and keys. However I had pictures of them in the mailbox. They also stated a portable hot tub was left, not sure how when we gave it to a friend of ours. They went and took pictures a day before we were officially moved out. We never missed a payment and the home was left in better condition than we got it in. The owner of prestige was made aware of all of this throughout the entire process and then it was brought directly to his attention and he laughed and said we were liars and said good luck trying to do anything he isn't touchable. So with all that at the end of the day just do your research on what company to rent from, because this one is shady and unethical!

The front desk person Mandy was rude and told me if I didn't like the way things were that I was welcome to move. She is an Unprofessional Employee who really needs to be reprimanded. This property in Biloxi has numerous calls to the Corporate level and they do nothing about it. It is a filthy bug ridden trash depot. I would not let the Homeless stay here. They live in Auburn of course equals bad football team and bad management. I pay my rent on time and usually pay ahead and once my Lease is up I will be moving out of this Hell-Hole they call an Apartment Community. Please do not move-here as you will regret it. They are so many more caring Management staffs and owners in this area. The Managers never get out of the office except to smoke or go to Lunch. I would give them a negative star if they had one. Use another company! They have available cheap property because of bad maintenance and cheating students.
