We reviewed our options and accepted their quote for a dual filtration/softener unit and added RO with mineral pack replacement and Alkaline at the kitchen faucet. Love the system! The water tastes great, our skin feels so much better and no more calcium deposits. After a year we had them install a UV light on the water system to remove any parasites etc. Every year like clock work we get our filters, mineral packs and UV light tube replacements installed. I explained in detail what had to be done, received a verbal quote, agreed to it and scheduled them to come out. The person who came was personable and knowledgeable, but after she removed the old toilet she said that the old tile would need to be chiseled out to fit the base of the new toilet. She said that she was comfortable doing that and then proceeded to quote me almost triple of what I was verbally quoted. I agreed and she was to come out the next day to finish the job. I paid their required 50% of the new quote fee. Well, instead of coming out the next day, the plumber called to say that her boss wouldn't let her do the tile work she herself told me she had done before and was confident there would be no problem. Then I was told that I needed to get a tile person to come and do the work on chiseling the old tile out. Oh great, another person that I don't know who I can pay who knows how much money. After speaking with "their tile guy", I told him no to his $200+ estimate, and was again contacted by Robins Plumbing asking if I wanted them to come out. I told them no, that I didn't want to pay another $250 to get pretty much nothing done again and that I didn't appreciate being hit with a "Bait and Switch". That's pretty much what happened, I paid over $250 to have the old toilet removed and was left with nothing. Would I recommend them? Not on your life! Any company who professes to be totally customer service oriented and pulls something like this shouldn't be in business in my opinion. As I told their plumber who came to my home, they talk the talk, but certainly don't walk the walk !

I connected with Jason originally when dealing with a toilet leak. They were able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently, and bonus points for being kind to my dog! Several months later, I had questions about updating a main line valve. Jason answered all of my questions and explained things to me in layman's terms so I felt confident I understood what was being done and how the plumbing would operate. When Jason came out for the appointment that week, he arrived on time and made the update for me (and left me with a bonus pressure gauge since I didn't have one). That day, I asked if he could come up with an invoice for another upgrade I was considering and he obliged. That next week, he came back and completed project that was on my "to do" list for months! To my dismay, a couple days later, I noticed something had gone wrong that could be related to the upgrade he did. I texted him thinking it could be related but also communicated I was unsure. He immediately scheduled one of his staff to come out that morning to come take a look and do the repair. And to my surprise, Jason resolved the invoice for the final repair as well. I can't recommend these guys enough! The value aside, which is very fair having done my research, these individuals are hard-working and have my business in the future!
