Liberty Auto Glass charges reasonably for windshield replacement. Their service is quick and of high quality. I at first held off for 1+ years because Subaru dealership was going to charge $2,300 including calibration on my 2020 Subaru Forester with sensors and a camera. The owner at Liberty charged me only $600 for the entire replacement and assured me no extra charge ($400) is needed to calibrate because her worker is very skillful to avoid breaking the frame in replacing the glass. These guys are professional Glaziers. Don't trust your life and the structural integrity of your automobile to anyone else in NYC. There is a reason they've been around over 100 years and are still replacing glass to this day. My 1985 Olds had a busted windshield, and before I decided to go scrapping around in junk yards hoping for a miracle, I gave Liberty a call and they what I needed in stock which was amazing. I went the next morning and was in and out within a couple of hours and paid under $200 for quality work. I just hadn't car broken into, made a police report. Headed to the Honda Dealership and they recommended Liberty Glass. So I went, small shop. The 2 guys running it had little to no customer service however that wasn't what I was there for. They promised a replacement in under 2 hours and delivered. They even helped vacuum the debris left from my smashed windshield. The glass isn't OEM which they disclosed right up front but I didn't care about that. They did the work ontime as promised, quality of the install looked decent. No complaints yet. read more

Around November 2020, I was driving my 2016 Range Rover sport in the highway and a rock hit my windshield and made a crack at the center of the windshield. I called the landrover dealership in Manhattan to have the windshield replace (I waited several weeks for this appointment). I am not sure why i thought the dealership would be replacing the windshield, turns out they outsource the work. The vendor they use is Liberty Auto Glass in queens. Since Landrover use this company, I thought they must be good BUT I was wrong. Here is when my nightmare began. Geico (who was amazing throughout this whole ordeal) covered the job 100%. When Liberty called me they told me Geico would not cover it, so I called Geico and they sent Liberty the approval that they would pay 100%, liberty confirmed at that point that they wouldn't charge my credit card BUT they did anyways. Geico then intervened and it took Liberty several days to refund me the money. But if that had been it and they had done a good job, the charging of my credit card would be just a misunderstanding. I picked up my car and I noticed their was massive air and water coming in through the driver side of the windshield. I called Liberty and went there the next day to have it fixed, I drove to Queens and waited two hours for them to fix it. I drove out and once again the car was still leaking and very noisy. So I called and they told me their guy Junior(his name), who is the Landrover expert and was away the last two weeks would be looking at the car. The lady at Liberty Glass tried to say Landrover had a recall on their windshield (THIS IS A HUGE LIE), we called CORPORATE LANDROVER. We then drop off the car now for a third time to Liberty Auto Glass in Queens, waited 3 hours. Junior removed the glass and supposedly fixed it. We drove away, only to have the same issue except it got worse now i was having cabin pressure issues inside the car so my ear was popping all the time, almost as if I was in an airplane all the time. This was now a health risk!!!! I notified Geico about this issue, they contacted Liberty Glass and said they would call me to try and fix the problem (because they are supposed to guarantee the work) but they never did. At this point I took it to the Landrover dealership in White Plains (these guys are great, they are part of auto nation AND DO not work with Liberty Glass. They work with Binks Auto Glass in Connecticut. Geico, Landrover and everyone else that saw the car were all perplexed on what had happened. Geico was amazing, they were so disturbed they offered to pay for the whole job again at a different vendor, I chose Binks Auto Glass. The problem was worse than we thought, Liberty Auto Glass not only destroyed my headliner, damaged the front two pillars, then covered it up but adding too much sealant. but all the trimming, we had to replace everything. (See the pictures). We documented everything with Geico and everywhere we went. After weeks of enduring not only the loss in time but serious health implications, we finally picked up the car from Binks Auto Glass hoping our nightmare would be over and now after driving the car for a few weeks, at last problem solved!! THIS WAS A WORKMANSHIP ISSUE NOT A CAR ISSUE. BINKS AUTO GLASS are professional and know what their doing. So the best thing I can do is write this review for those people who are having the same nightmare like this with Liberty Glass and don't know what to do, well i can with certainty recommend Binks Auto Glass. Stay away from Liberty Auto Glass... AND TO Binks Auto Glass, if you ever see this review, Thank you for your help and I can't forget about Geico, they really fought for us. These guys are butchers. Had my windshield replaced and they damaged the paint and scratched the body around my windshield. Looks like a 5 year old worked on my car. Now have to bring to a body shop. They say they did not do the damage. Never use them again. Having my insurance company drop them as a vendor. Never Again!!!! read more

Had a broken door glass on my Nissan murano called liberty glass spoke too Roy told me to bring it right in he ordered my glass and with in 2.5 hours I was done I asked him about the orther reviews and Roy told me that was the old managers reviews and that they were under new management. TERRIBLE! I have never had such a bad experience in my life. If there's any recommendation to be made, it's to STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE. I came here for a windshield replacement and here's the nightmare that occurred. In short, I was: - Lied to by dishonest employees who would not honor their word - Given a scratched windshield TWICE - Given bad attitudes from employees almost as if they didn't even want my business - Not offered a place to wait because the "waiting couch" had construction materials on it - Kept waiting around for over two hours to find out nothing was done to my vehicle after I was told my problem was "fixed." This is my story in detail: I had the most disheartening, foul, and repulsive experience at Queens Liberty Auto Glass. It was a Friday morning when I came in to have my front windshield replaced. I was told the wait would be two hours, and was not offered an area to wait or sit. The "waiting" couch was covered by construction materials, and while there were empty chairs in the office, it didn't seem like the employees wanted me in there. After the new windshield was installed, I noticed a large scratch on the glass. I brought it to the attention of one of the employees in the office; he came to see the scratch and then walked away from me without saying a word. I followed him into the office, and he told me to come back on Monday morning to have a new windshield installed. I asked him to confirm it in writing on the original receipt, and he did so with a nasty attitude. I returned on Monday morning and was greeted with "JUST GIVE ME THE KEYS." I was told it would be another two hours, so I waited. After two hours, my keys were handed back to me with a "HAVE A NICE DAY." I went outside to see that my car was moved, but the same old windshield was still on the car. I brought it to their attention, and they told me they had "fixed" the issue, yet I was looking at the exact same windshield with the same scratch, untouched. At this point, I had waited two hours for absolutely nothing. I requested that a new windshield be put in as it had been promised. I was given a new windshield, but even this new one had scratches on it. I didn't have any more patience to deal with the issue so I just left and settled for what I was given. The two people running the business in the Queens location are some of the rudest I've come across. This was an absolutely horrific experience and I'm far from a satisfied customer. I will NEVER return, and I will only tell people to STAY FAR AWAY from this business. Find another business that will care about you as a customer -- assuring you a great product and service to leave you satisfied. read more

I am 100 percent agree with previous rater. This place sucks, big time. The guy who answered the phone, Mark i believe his name, was the biggest jerk. I couldn't believe how rude and arrogant he was with me, but being the only place with the part that I needed to replace pronto I swallowed my pride and decided to give them a chance. They replace back windshield, but the wiper was off allignment and little plastic despenser that sprays windshield washing solution was broken off, when I question what happened to it they told me it was broken when I brought it to them, which is total lie because I remember seening it earlier. Anyway, I decided to save myself a headache and not to argue any further. I guess because my insurance paid for it i didn't make such a big deal out of it, but I definatelly urge everyone of you to find different place to take your business! read more

OMG.........................After Storm Sandy, I called my insurance company to fix a broken car window. They actually wanted me to wait 2 WEEKS.... imagine that. Liberty Auto Glass on Queens Blvd. was able to order the auto window, give me an appointment for the next day, which was today. AND in less than 30 minutes I was in the shop and on my way to work. That is what I call service. They were willing and able to satisfy the custommer. I recommend them highly!!!! I guess some customers are rude and believe they are the only derserving customers. I decided not to use Liberty Auto Glass. They have a smug attitude and act as if they're doing me a favor by taking my money. The shop looked filthy and there's no place to sit and wait if you want to. They don't go out of their way to accommodate their customers. I had a cracked windshield. Instead I called my mechanic and he uses Touch of Glass in Brooklyn who came to my mechanic's shop (just 2 blocks from my apt), replaced the glass and was $5. cheaper. read more

After "SANDY" I couldnt find any Auto Glass places opened.. Called Liberty Glass in Queens and they were opened... They safeguarded my car overnight until the glass I needed came in whcih was the NEXT morning... I picked up my car and it was like it was never broken! Woke up to find my front glass and back glass shattered.. I called them and they HAD BOTH windows in stock. They just installed 2 windows in 2 hours and Im on my way to work.. doing this review from my phone! A+++++ ALL around! Dont listen to the other reviews..
