Under the guidance of Coaches Zac, Ceyara, Cam, and Shauna our daughter has made great strides in her abilities. One thing inexperienced cheer parents, or rec/sideline cheer parents may not realize is that for your kid to excel at an all star level it requires dedication not only from your cheerleader but also from you. I won't lie. It is very expensive. It's very time consuming. But the payoff is that your cheerleader WILL improve in ways you didn't expect. Do not go into all star cheer putting in the bare minimum and expect amazing results. Our daughter is in the gym 5 days a week for practice and extra classes. Where the Rays add value is the class prices. Some gyms look to squeeze you for extras but not at the Rays. If you want to take your cheerleader's development seriously, give the Stingray Allstars one season and you'll see what I mean.

My kids have been in gymnastics for a decade and really needed a change of pace and have found a new home along with new challenges in a safe environment! This gym is always looking to fine-tune and advance athletes' skills. I'm looking at some of the old ratings on this site and find that most of them have been because people didn't read the fine print. You can't put that liability on the gym and you shouldn't want a gym that allows cutting corners for your athlete and your child.

I look back now and G-force was more upfront and honest about their valuations of my child. I would recommend G-Force compared to Dulles Gymnastics. There are a lot of unhappy parents at Dulles. I went through a lot of stress and silent heartache for my child being at Dulles. I know a good amount of parents that attend this gym and have told me that it is so easy to express any concerns you have with G-Force but I had the opposite experience at Dulles. Think twice before joining Dulles. There is a reason why there are no negative reviews written for this gym. Dulles has many negative reviews for a reason.

I got a lane to myself, the temperature of the water was perfect and after my swim, I was happy to see that they have private showers in the women's locker that actually have doors you can close. I came here for a party for the holidays hosted by my friends. As soon as you enter, you have a big indoor water park to the right. Straight ahead, you have a weight lifting gym thats on par with commercial gyms and to the left, a small climbing wall. A good amount of staff are here and they are friendly. Several walked by saying hello with smiles. Again, coming from MoCo, I was like "Maybe moving to Northern Virginia is worth the cost". The bathrooms are a bit outdated, but not a deal breaker. It is still relatively clean like the rest of the facilities. The kitchen to the community room that my friends rented out had a lot of appliances (4 air fryers) and a large oven for reheating. I thought that was pretty cool. Also, I saw two woks there. This threw me offguard honestly.

Their ceilings aren't particularly low however, many high balls can bump into the lights and poles above. The lights are also blinding at times but other than that the court areas are pretty spacious -- minus the sides due to the nets. There is quite a bit of space to put your belongings and for people to come by to watch + support! The floors could use some sweeping as it is usually slippery/dusty Overall, this location consistently holds many leagues, tourneys, and open gyms and would recommend 7/10 for the facility but 9/10 to come play!

If you don't have patience to work with children, then it's in the community's best interest if you find a different profession. I don't know a single healthy parent who supports teachers yelling at their child. Having a firm tone is one thing, but an emotionally charged scream is more than just disrespectful. We were having trouble with my son's teacher, and decided to pull him out of the school, and cancel the after school. The school ended up letting the teacher go and convinced us to stay. The master was picking up kids at the school, saw our son, and wrote my wife an email accusing us of being dishonest, and saying he was going to charge us over $1k. I don't care about the money, but what type of Taekwondo master accuses a woman (both of us work full time) dealing with a tough situation of being a liar? I don't want my son learning from this type of man who makes accusations without the full story. I wouldn't send your kids here. As both a father and a dedicated community leader, his strong work ethic and disciplined approach extend far beyond his school--his influence is carried through the hallways of many local schools by the students he has impacted.
