I enrolled my two kids here around August 2025 and my original experience was a little iffy, but they've definitely found their footing now. as an established business in a new area/building, I know there were a few things that needed to be ironed out. I heard a lot of mixed reviews originally, but I am so glad my kids stayed and stuck with this place. their teachers have really proved to be so patient and shown the care and consideration they have towards the young ones. my son loves gymnastics, but he's 3 and not the best listener. they have some established gymnasts as their teachers and they have been a delight to work with. my daughter, 9, has also very much enjoyed her time here & has made fantastic progress! highly recommend this facility for your children to really grow and learn! big shout-out to Kayla, Erin, Grey, Jada & Ari (I hope I spelled their names right) ! read more

We only came for one class and decided it wasn't as nice as the other place we used to go to. The waiting area is nice and bright which is nice. But while we were there during our first time, we saw a couple of things that we weren't too fond of. A couple of kids at different times came out to the waiting area crying because they got hurt. The coaches would basically try to shift blame to the kid saying they didn't do anything wrong and that sometimes kids get hurt and that the girls were fine. Felt like they were just deflecting. The coaches for my daughter's class were sitting down for part of the session on mats and wearing house slippers and hoodies while giving directions on what the children should be doing. Sees like they should be more engaged with the kids during warm up and dress more appropriately. Also, while we were waiting, we saw numerous older girls go into the girl's bathroom and they were all being loud and calling people on their cell phones and playing either TikTok videos or YouTube videos. We could hear them in the waiting area. No staff cared or came to tell the girls to stop playing around. I would have felt bad if my 6 year old daughter had to use the bathroom and go in there with them. In the end, we signed our daughter up to try it but we weren't satisfied with what we saw after one visit. We will be going back to the other gymnastics place that seems better even though it is further from our house. read more

Coaches and the front desk people are very rude and not helpful. You will eventually get the feel that this gym doesn't care about you or your child but only your money. The coaches make it difficult to talk to them and do not give you any updates on your child's progress. You will find out at the competitions after it's too late and you wasted so much money on the monthly fees, leotards and other BS fees. Instead of having regrets and watching your kid have low confidence, pick another gym to go to. read more

My daughter was in their rec summer camp and actually got injured one day which, nobody on staff told me about, no accident form was filled out, no email, no phone call, no nothing. I am not even sure anyone noticed. According to my daughter thy were playing with some sort of band and it snapped and smacked her on chest. It was a 7 year old story so I'm not sure if she told the instructor who then gave her ice or she said no thank you to the ice. . . regardless momma bear saw that red welt the next day and - I was pissed and no adult there knew anything about anything. I get it accidents happen, but lack of accountability, limited supervision, no communication, and not even an apology? No thank you. Thank God it wasn't worse. read more

The 9 month "year" is over... The awards gala for the team was WONDERFUL. The season was fabulous... my daughter placed in something at every meet. I learned at the awards gala that DGA won every meet it attended. WOW. More importantly, I saw at the awards gala what I see all the time - TEAM. Huge, many ages, kids that don't know one another if they are on other teams or in different age brackets - but they support one another. They were dancing together, and clapping for one another, and crying saying how wonderful their coaches were. It's fantabulous. Another poster said that there is no family feel, and I am confused by that comment. Last week, one of the coaches got engaged and they invited the ENTIRE team to be there and orchestrated a "skit" for the coach which was really designed to disguise the opportunity for the boyfriend to take center stage and propose. It doesn't get more "family" than that, does it? Now we're rolling into summer. My daughter normally practices 2 days a week... but 2 weeks ago she missed a normal day - practices were canceled that day because it was the evening of the awards gala. Then last week we were busy playing and missed both practices. But this week, she's taking camp there.... FULL DAY CAMP which is HALF PRICE for team members. A HUGE SAVINGS. And, they will pull her from camp to do practice... and they are letting her make up her 3 missed practices plus her 2 regular practices all this week.... a practice a day. Perfecto. Can you say Win-Win-Win-Win? Coming to this gym was such a great decision. read more

We love Dulles Gymnastics! Our son, now 4.5 years, has been coming here for about a year and he love gymnastics. His activities are taught by very patient instructors, some who may be on the younger side (20s), but they definitely know what they are doing. I notice that they are always watching the other kids when helping one child complete a task that may need supervision or assistance, which is very comforting for a parent. The gym set up is very large and capable at handling multiple classes at one time with no interference while still offering many training options for each class. I look forward to enrolling him in more challenging classes as his abilities continue to grow :) read more

Moving to this gym was the best decision of my life. Everyone is so enthusiastic about this sport and they want everyone to achieve their best. I started coaching few years ago here at DGA and I haven't looked back since. I started coaching rec classes and the all star [ now the Excel program] and I haven't felt so welcome at a job. Beware of rec. classes. My daughter was excited to start class in the rec program, but there is no actual instruction. The coach, who told the girls once she's never been a gymnast, tends to yell at the girls for doing things wrong rather than teach. She spent a lot of time walking around to talk to other teachers. Even though she spends all of her time flipping off couches and tumbling around the house, my daughter decided she's just not excited to go to class because she spend more time waiting in lines and struggling on her own, than learning. The gym is also packed full. One time there was so much going on that my daughter's class had no where to train. They then combined with another class which happens all to often. We're done here. Going to look for a more patient attentive place that will help the rec. kids learn rather than cater completely to the competitive teams. read more

We took our 6 year old here for recreational classes. A few weeks into her class, the teacher moved and since then she had many different teachers. They were inconsistent, inattentive and some were even very rude. It was similar to an open play time and our child was not taught anything. I emailed this location multiple times about these concerns and never received a response. It is clear they only value the gymnastic teams as they bring in the most money. They don't seem to be interested in training and fostering younger ages and giving them encouragement to grow. We will not be wasting our time or money at this location. read more

My daughter started in the recreational classes 2 years ago with zero gymnastics experience and this year is on the beginner level of team. This gym is amazing! They care about our children and helping them progress at a pace that fits for these young kids. My daughter goes to this gym for 3 days a week on team now and she loves every minute. This is a brand new gym. HOWEVER, the owners and coaches have years of gymnastics instruction experience. The owner has owned several gyms in the past and has actually coached and developed elite athletes. This is a fantastic gymnastics facility. The owner and all the coaches are truly interested in the gymnastics development of each individual child. If you're looking for a gym in the area, this is the one to go to! Classes and teams are not overcrowded, and your child really does get a lot of individualized attention. read more

We have had awful experience here. My daughter was enrolled in T1 class and was ready for T2, The coach and I spoke about moving to next class. The coach didn't communicate her recommendation to the T2 class coach.My daughter went to two classes and the night she was at class I received an email stating my daughter was causing safety issues and she was not enrolled when she was! And she just showed up to the T2 class to be with her friend. I called and spoke to the owner he didn't care what I was told by his staff all he cared about was protecting his liabilities and accused me of being irresponsible ! On what basis I was told she was moving up and paid my dues! Clearly a poor run gym and owner who could care less ! Would not recommend! read more

I moved my daughter to Dulles Gymnastics in July and I love it! She has improved and gotten stronger and the communication is fantastic!

We didn't have a good experience here. The instructors are very young and don't try to keep the kids engaged.

We just had a birthday party at Dulles Gymnastics last weekend and it was fantastic! They did such a great job! The 2 girls who hosted our party were AWESOME!!! They did a great job of getting all of the kids engaged and made sure our diverse aged group all had a fantastic time. This is by far the best place we have had one of our children's birthday parties yet and we would definitely use them again. You do have an assigned time slot and need to adhere to that in order to not impact another party that is scheduled. We were very happy. I'm leaving Dulles Gymnastics with a really bad taste in my mouth. Warning: This gym is merely a factory after your money. Its family owned and operated, but you will not get a family feel here. The male owner who manages the business office is a total jerk. After spending more than $2,500 on preteam dues and bring my daughter to practice 4 hours a week for over a year, the staff has no idea who she is or who we are. If she was not wearing the $50 leotard that we were required to buy they would not even know she was on the preteam. There is no warmth for the kids or families. They could care less. The one bright spot was her preteam coach, but they recently replaced her with a woman who keeps squeezing my daughter's arms and legs when her form is not correct. She also has huge fake nails and keeps scratching my daughter while trying to spot her. My daughter is a tough cookie, who at 8-years-old, pretty much likes everyone with the exception of her new coach. After over a year with her original coach there was no contact with parents to let us know that her coach was going to be replaced. No introduction to the new coach. The straw that broke the camel's back was at recent birthday party that I had for my daughter. We paid $195 for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The gymnastics lasted 1 hour and we had cake in the party room. With 20 minutes to go my daughter started to open gifts. The girls who were running the party came over and told me we were not allowed to open gifts. I told her that we still had 20 minutes. She said, "okay," but then she and the other 2 girls proceeded to break down our party and set up for the next party. They took all the table cloths off and moved the party favors. It was so rude and so typical of how they treat their customers and the families that support their gym that I disenrolled my daughter the next day. read more
