For $9 a sandwich I found them both very bland and lacking any sort of condiment / sauce that both were suppose to have. The lobster rolls were okay, but honestly they weren't anything to write home about. If you're really craving a lobster roll, I'd rather spend a little more and get one on the coast. I also wish the bun had been a little more buttered and toasted. Overall, I still had a great experience because the service was excellent. The bartender mentioned Mondays and Tuesdays are their busiest nights because of the buy one get one lobster roll special, so maybe that played a part. A week later, thawed them and opened one to make supper-- they were RANCID. Repacked them with plastic wrap to seal in the odor and my father attempted to return to the store the next day. The manager, Kevin, denied a refund stating it had been too long. My father left the store with no refund, so I called to verify what had transpired. Kevin then accused us of seeking a refund after we 'ate half the package'. This is patently untrue as, once again, it was dangerously rancid. He then stated, "Well, I have a picture." I told him to check the picture and, sure enough, everything was there. He refused to apologize for his accusations and again denied a refund. Now we are out $12 for a product that should have never been sold. Given the shoddy products, non-competitive prices, and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE by KEVIN, we will never return to another Market Basket. Thankfully, Hannaford is close and actually stands by their products. Caveat emptor when shopping with Market Basket!

The produce has also gone downhill, even the frozen vegetables seem like they have been defrosted and refrozen.
