Very happy with the service I received here. Was in the Phoenix area recently and needed to get a haircut since they were illegal (sad right?) in LA at the time. While a bit pricey, it was worth it. Best haircut I've ever gotten. Even though it was a buzzcut the barber managed to edge it with a straight razor. Never had that done before. She was very precise and pleasant. First time going to this place today. The guy who cut my hair cut it a little short, but he could've spent a little less time on his phone talking and texting and a little more time paying attention to what he was doing. I sat in the chair for probably two minutes every time his phone went off so that he could send a reply. It probably took twice as long to cut my hair as three or four more customers came in during that time. When you have a customer in front of you then you always focus on them. If your not going to put customers first and make them constantly wait while you respond to texts then I'll go somewhere else.. read more

Do not go here if you want a competent person cutting your hair... On another note, I called in ahead of time to see if they were busy. They weren't but then I showed up dude was on his phone and the place was empty. Should of been an indicator that this place sucks. I asked for a medium low taper fade. Provided adequate instructions on expectations and even provided a photo to highlight what I wanted my hair to look. Dude has no idea how to fade properly. Went straight in with clippers, didn't use a comb. Complete imbecile! Now I have messed up hair that I will need to regrow, I just wanted a cleanup not a entirely short hair look. I had to relay instructions multiple times over concerns he wasn't doing what I was asking and his reply was to talk about things that had nothing to do with my concerns. My husband went here for the first time today. We drive by there every day when I go to work, but we never have stopped. But now, when he needs a cut, we have a new favorite place! They took the time and cut and styled his hair and did a fantastic job on his beard, for 50 bucks. Such a deal. The haircuts they give are terrific! A little high in price but not too bad. The big downfall, especially on a Saturday, is that you'll have to wait. I've been here for 30 minutes and still have more time to wait (I'm estimating another 15 - 20 minutes). I've had 3 people get cuts in front of me with the average cut time being over 15 minutes. 2 people have already walked out and the one gentleman had been waiting for roughly 40 minutes (he was waiting before I even got here). If you don't mind a long wait, especially on a Saturday, the cut is worth it. Adding another 1 to 2 barbers on a Saturday would not only increase business (people would be less likely to walk out) but would increase customer satisfaction. Customers who walk out don't always give great word of mouth reviews. read more

I was in town on business this week and really needed a last minute trim and hot shave. I called ahead about half an hour before closing, and Lee told me to come on down. The cut and shave were great, he was extremely accommodating, and it was an all around great experience. Didn't get a haircut but I was with my buddy watching him get his. The young man cutting his hair took his time cutting and did a good job. On the other hand the older gentleman cutting hair was careless and always on his phone. In my time there he messed up 4 haircuts and told the clients he knows what they want. It's ridiculous how barbers like that can be charging $25 for a haircut that the client didn't want. After watching mistake after mistake I made the decision to get my haircut elsewhere. read more

Horrible haircut. I had the guy in the first chair, he was very rough with the clippers, i asked for a inch to be cut off the top and he cut about 3 inches. My fade was not even and it was way overpriced. the whole cut took ten minutes, Did not take his time. Do not go to the barber shop. Good deal, basic haircut $16, looks pretty good and is exactly what I asked for. Comfortable environment with sports on. At the end he put way too much gel in my hair and wasn't quite sure what I wanted when I asked if he could blow dry it.
