Unfortunately, his suggestion didn't work, so I needed him to come in person. When he arrived, he impressed me when he removed his shoes without being asked. I wasn't going to ask him to remove his shoes, as there was a water leak and the floor was just recently mopped. He replaced the fill valve effortlessly. And during the job itself, they had to take the crew off of our job for an "emergency" somewhere else, leaving a big gap where there wasn't any progress while we had an active construction site at our house. I understand some level of scheduling issues but this was really frustrating. So overall, I'd say all of this put a really bad taste in my mouth, and I'd be really torn on whether to work with them again. I had a few quotes from different companies and they were just wanting to rip up the roofing on the light well and redo the whole roof. Brian came along and just said he could fix it with a corrugated panel on top and fixing the scupper like it was supposed to be fixed. The previous roofers did a lousy job and when my roof got clogged and flooded, it was just the side near the window that was leaking and caused all the water damage in the bathroom and in the garage. Brian said he could just fix it without having to redo the roof and my impression of him was that he was down to earth honest. He fixed the problem and without a lot of cost involved. His straightforwardness basically saved me a lot of money. These are the types of people I like to work with. Honest contractors are hard to find.
