I thought I got a good pedicure and manicure but I did not. I took a bath 2 days after getting it and the polish on my feet came off. My no chip manicure is chipping and cracking my nails so I have to file the edge so they don't break. Horrible experience today, I always loved coming but today I came in for the princess pedicure and the guy was very aggressive when filling down my nails. I was asked multiple times which pedicure I wanted and I stated I wanted a honey princess pedicure, I was not listened and received a basic no chip. I went with my sister and mother for pedicures. They recently changed their pedicure menu so I wasn't able to get what I've gotten before. I ended up getting the pearl pedicure which was very massage heavy. I loved it! The atmosphere is very quiet and calm and makes for a relaxing pedicure. Prices are pretty reasonable. My biggest complaint is you don't always get to see all the color options available to choose from even if you ask for something specific. I'm new to the area and needed a mani- pedi, but was hesitant (especially after my last nail salon debacle at another salon in the area a couple weeks ago). After work yesterday, I decided to stop by the first salon I saw open (which happen to be Leza Nail Spa). I went in, gave the lady at the front desk my phone number, and sat down. I wasn't seated long at all. Immediately, I looked around and saw that there were several nail color options and the salon is spacious. I got a regular pedi (in a hunter- green color) and dip powder nails (color is called "Personal"). The technician was pleasant and did not cut my cuticles (unlike the other place I mentioned above). I've been coming here for a little over a year now, I've since moved from the area but still keep driving back because Elena is the best nail tech I've ever had. I used to be a nail salon hopper because I would get tired of never getting what I wanted and be weary of cleanliness. However this salon is always clean, everyone is so kind and my nails have never received more compliments in my life. I requested a pedicure and a soak off of my overlay with a new set. The salon was fairly clean, a bit dated but a standard nail salon in my opinion. The tech that completed my pedicure seemed rush. He took a phone call during my service to which he handled his cell phone WITH the gloves on that he was using to service my freshly washed feet. I found that to be pretty unsanitary. Moving on to my nail service, the soak off process was fairly simple and quick. It was really time for my overlay to come off so it didn't require much work. I asked for an oval shape but received more like a ballerina shape with rounded corners. I was in a rush so did not make a fuss about it. What threw me off COMPLETELY was the fact that I asked for a French manicure and when I showed him a picture of the French manicure having a rounded white line instead of straight across........he told me it would be $10 extra because it requires more detail. I WAS SHOCKED! But again, in a rush so I said whatever. The guy was nice about it but I WILL NOT be returning. I only gave this shop a shot after my regular shop was booked for the day. read more

I had the worst pedicure I've ever had today. The guy was so rough while trying to go super fast that I winced a few times. He didn't clean under any but the big toe and it was painful. It felt like he was filing my skin more than my nail. I get time is money but he finished in 20 minutes which included painting them. I can see the old paint on the sides of my nails still and didn't really pumice well - just fast and hard. My recommendation is if you want a decent experience to go elsewhere. Nails look good but I was extremely rushed to pick what I wanted. I arrived 5 mins before my appt time but they wouldn't let me look through the samples they gave me a book which didn't have all the available choices and limited my pick. I wasn't ready and they sat me down and started prepping my nails and made me make a decision. there were empty chairs so it wasn't overly busy. the color wasn't what I wanted so I went through 4 colors and never found what I wanted. I finally said just leave the last one. the last sample I picked was a "swirly" design but instead she did a stripe versus the swirls. on my way out I saw what I wanted on the table as I was leaving but wasn't given the option to get it even though I told them I saw a darker color I liked in the entry. they said NO THESE ARE ALL THE SAME COLORS. they were not. I told the girl I wanted darker but she just told me to pick something from the sample book. again, nails were done nicely. but NOT what I wanted and they were not accommodating. read more

Went to this salon today for a pedicure and no chip manicure. I upgraded my pedicure, and because the pedicure was so bad I didn't go through with the no chip. One of the other workers agreed it was a terrible pedicure. Spoke to the manager and he gave me back $20 out of $67, I should have been fully refunded for the pedicure. They offered to have someone else do it but after this experience I don't want any service from this salon. My 6 year old could do a better job, definitely will not be back or recommend this place. Place is mostly the same as usual, but this time I'd like to compliment 2 of the workers, as I believe they deserve some recognition.... My mom and I went in today for pedicures, and we had Hannah and Gracie. Both were very sweet and gentle with us. They didn't act like we were a bother, and they didn't try to go too fast. Everything was said and done very professionally, and I'd totally recommend them! Hannah even cleaned some of the tools she used in front of me, so I know she tries to keep everything nice and clean with who she's given to do each job for. Looking forward to the next time I come in if I can have Hannah do my nails again! read more

The last few times I have gone to get my nails done they haven't been that great. I usually don't complain but this last time was it! I got here right when it opened with my son Saturday morning didn't realize how busy they got. Sure enough got right in after a couple people went in front of me. But all is good bc I got this girl names Bella and she TRANSFORMED my nails from the bad nails they were before to amazing lil Icicles as I call them lol. This is my main place I'll go for nails and toes. They have always done such an amazing job. Doesn't matter who I got. I tried to go somewhere near my house called Pure Nails Spa. I've currently been sitting in the waiting area for 2 hours for what was said to be a 40 minute wait to get my nail fixed. I just got my nails done yesterday and my no chip on my right thumb has bubbled and started peeling. I find it absolutely ridiculous that people have come and gone who arrived after me and I am still waiting. I got here at 530. Checked my place in line at 610 and was told 10 more minutes. I just went back to the desk and was now told my name was not on the list and I now have to be added back and wait more! WTF?! Don't waste your time or money. Went to get a no-chip manicure done a week ago and within two/three days a few nails chipped at the top. By Friday half of my nails chipped on top and bottom by the cuticle. I went in exactly one week after getting them done to get them fixed, so yesterday. They gladly fixed them but instead of redoing the whole nail she only fixed the parts that were messed up. With that being said, one of the nails they touched up chipped a few hours later in the same spot it chipped before. I'm new to the Romeoville area. So far, I've gone to this salon three times I believe. I've gotten no-chip manicures and regular pedicures. The prices are reasonable and the service is fast. My experience up until today, Tuesday December 14, 2021 has been fine. Nothing special but not bad experiences until today. The other times I've come for service I always had a woman providing my services. Today, I had a guy. He was so rough and it was causing me pain. I asked him to be gentler and he ignored me and kept being rough. I was in once before and there were two daughters with their mother and the mother had a man (could have been this same guy but honestly I didn't see his face as his back was to me) and the mom complained to her daughter about how he was treating her feet and the daughter switched technicians with her. Hence, I think this may be a recurring issue at this salon Initially, I told the male technician that I wanted a no-chip pedicure and the parrafin treatment (treating myself since it was my birthday). He was so rough and rude by ignoring my request to be softer even after I asked him a second time but more stern so I canceled the paraffin treatment. I told him to just finish my service so I could leave. He was grabbing my feet so forcibly when moving them in and out of the UV dryer. He barely did a massage on my legs and didn't massage my feet at all. He then rubbed the lotion off harshly as well. What a jerk! I paid $41. Not sure if that's the normal price for the no-chip pedicure or if he padded the price to get a tip because I'm sure he had a clue that I wouldn't be tipping him. And I never not tip even if I wasn't pleased with the service. Normally, I would just give a lower tip for unsatisfactory servicebut not in this case. He didn't deserve a tip at all. Normally, when I leave I get a text asking for my feedback. I got the text but there wasn't a link this time to access the feedback and rate my experience. So I'm rating it here on Yelp. Today, was horrible service. The other few visits were average. I won't say I'll never return since it's the closest nail salon to our house. But I will continue trying other nail shops in the area to see if I can find a better one and if I do return I will NEVER let another male technician service me. read more

The lady who did my service seemed like she was trying to break a world record for the quickest service on a client. She was rough & careless. Oh! Then the lady stops mid service to say "must pay now" I was like ... Very busy salon, I was impressed by the amount of employees in the store. I went in for a pedicure, walk in, and was taken right away. I did have to ask for a service menu, and I do recommend that the staff learn some communication skills. My pedicurist was very quiet, almost seemed like he did not enjoy his job. This is my second review and my final. I won't be going back. I got a no-chip mani and no-chip pedi on Thursday 12/22 spending $125 plus additional $20 tip, on Friday 12/23 i had to return because the polish on one of my toes was peeling. On Monday i lost the polish on two finger nails. I returned Tuesday morning. I spoke with a manager and informed him that I thought I had a bad polish and asked if I could just have the whole thing redone with a different polish. He told me that he could do it and charge me half price which was $18 I agreed to it because i would also be getting a new manicure. Yes, I felt I needed a new manicure in less than a week. I even tipped an additional five dollars. The very next day with the new manicure and the new polish, the polish on my thumb chipped. At this point I am over it. I have no intention on returning. The first review that I made stated that everyone in this place rushes through the pedicures and manicures. I am not used to getting a no chip and having the machine that cures the polish removed prior to the timer stopping. I'm not sure if this is having an effect on the quality of my polish and why it's not lasting. I've been getting no chips for a very long time and I've never had an issue With chipping less than a week. I do believe this could be resolved if they slow down a bit and focus on quality versus quantity. As a business owner and a customer, I understand that a customers complaint is a second chance to get it right. There are a lot of customers who don't complain and just won't come back. I hate to give a business less stars because of the way they run their business. This shop is so backwards. I've never been charged so many up charges for a basic Acrylic Fullset with nochip polish. They charged $5 for "coffin" shape (which they are not) and $5 for "length" I'd like to see a ruler placed at each station so that short/medium/long are clearly labeled. I was given 3 different explanations of my total price from the minute I walked in and spoke with the girl at the front desk, until the time I left had the manager in my face telling me they add tax (which I've never encountered before). The technician did a good job, but this business will never grow if they continue to tit for tat their customers. I have been going to Leza for a couple of years and have always had a good experience until yesterday. I brought a photo of a very simple color scheme that included a light pink. The technician began to argue with me that the color was white and was increasingly frustrated with me. She shoved the color samples at me and told me that she couldn't help me and I needed to choose a color from the samples. I was sitting there with my nails half done and I was so uncomfortable and upset that I ended up having to choose a color that was completely different than what I had wanted. She repeatedly scoffed as she finished. There were plenty of other people working who could have offered to help and who ignored the way she was speaking to me.
