Also my pooch came home with scrapes of some sort on her chin- they could have at least told us. They have a live camera where you can check in online, each time I did all the like-size dogs were inside together in a playroom. Note that playtime is paid for, separate from boarding fee. They didn't change it up for variety with good weather, low effort. I am left feeling sad for my dog and irritated at the incompetence and wish I had trusted a different boarding facility. It takes only one time and one second for your dog to attack someone else or to run out into the road and end up injured or dead. If you're too lazy to leash your dog for 5 seconds, you're too lazy to own a dog. I also find it hard to believe they had an attitude with you over the time you would arrive to pick up your dog. I work in Georgetown and have, many times, called them to apologize and say that with traffic and the time I get off work, that I wouldn't be there until right at 6pm and they were perfectly fine with that. However, I also chose to give them more than a 15 minutes notice because I'm not rude. ;) I would venture to guess that it's likely your behavior and attitude that resulted in a poor customer experience because I've never once had a single hint of unprofessional-ism from either of the owners. You knew well before 5:45pm that you wouldn't arrive until close to 6pm and the fact that you had to take New Circle during rush hour didn't cross your mind at all or factor into the time you gave? The staff was so friendly and of course Shadow was his charming self until it came to the exam lol. They were gentle with him and gave him plenty of treats afterwards . His Doctor was friendly and very enthusiastic about Shadow being in such good shape . He has nice teeth , clean ears, clear lungs . Knowing all of this made me relax more. He got a clean bill of health with the exception that he's FIV positive. Shadow is the only cat in our house and he's strictly a indoor cat. Even with that he can and will live a full life . One of the ladies did agree with me that he looks like he's part Russian Blue. In terms of cost the initial exam was free because we adopted him from LHS . I did pay for some additional testing and I think it was a fair price . Shadow does have pet insurance for those just in case moments hopefully they'll be none of those. Shadow will continue to to there for check ups and future shots .
