The therapists, teachers, and instructional assistants are deeply committed to supporting children with disabilities, and it is clear that my boys are genuinely cared for and valued each day they are at LIFE. The ABA program is exceptional and has far exceeded our experiences with previous programs. Many of LIFE's leaders are Board Certified Behavior Analysts, and a significant number of staff members are Registered Behavior Technicians, which speaks to the quality, expertise, and integrity of the program. I wholeheartedly recommend LIFE to any family seeking a supportive, professional, and compassionate environment for children with intellectual disabilities.

It was definitely worth the wait, and also very worth the drive, we come from Florence.

The only good thing to come of PS Academy is their mismanagement of my child led to a better placement in a reputable school. They only added further trauma by utilizing sloppy physical restraints that were unwarranted. Any "mainstream" school could have handled the situation by simply talking to student. As an educator and behavioral specialist with master's degree and 20 years experience I am well qualified to make an accurate assessment of this school. My advice to you is proceed with caution.

I'd give it 5 stars if we were talking last school year or better yet the year before that. 2025…read moreschool year has started out proving that employees come first. Everything is very political now. Parents aren't allowed on campus unless they are part of the P3 club. But a lot of parents work and don't have time to dedicate to the club. Also, a lot of parents would take off work to be there to volunteer and hang out with their kids. But instead, it's a mean girls club running the whole school now. Someone who is barely started the school this school year is the president of the club. She has no idea what she is doing, she is badmouthing a lot of the other parents, doesn't know most of the students. I don't think Yvonne understands that so many parents are not being a part of the club because of this single woman. Yvonne is also one of the rudest women I've ever come across. Someone who should not be working with special needs children. And has a consistent bad attitude with parents. Or any child. A lot of the parents are in the works of speaking to other campuses about transferring. And we are all giving notes about other appropriate schools where the children and all their parents come first. The three stars that I left, not for the higher-ups not for the P3 club, it's for the teachers! The teaching staff is amazing and kind and caring and goes above and beyond. And for Mr Dilly! he always treats Parents with respect he is kind and caring, always roaming the school, checking on the kids and the staff. In my opinion and an opinion that a lot of others have is he should be the main one running things. So thank you Mr Dilly and the entire teaching staff! If it wasn't for you guys, a lot of us would have left a while ago. It's you guys that keep our kids happy at school, and keep them wanting to come back! They are having so much fun, also while improving educationally every day! THANK YOU!

Beyond helping with the school situation, she spent time with our family to offer ideas and methods to help us with the behavior issues we were seeing at home. I really appreciated the graceful manner in which she integrated into our family dynamic - so that she could really see what was happening and offer realistic and helpful advice. We've been dealing with behavioral…read morechallenges since pre-K, and after trying different things over the years, we finally decided to give this program a try in November 2025. I was hopeful--but I didn't expect to see this kind of growth. When my son started, he was functioning closer to a 4-year-old level, and now he's meeting expectations for his actual age of 7. That alone speaks volumes. He's more affectionate, more aware of his feelings, and better able to work through them. One of the biggest changes has been how he handles being told "no," bad news, and changes. Before, those moments were very hard for him. Now he's able to pause, regulate, and respond so much better. That has made a huge difference in our everyday life. While in the program, I made the decision to homeschool him so he could fully focus on his development. As of April 1st, he transitioned back into school, and that was a huge moment for us. He was excited to be back with his friends, and now he's able to handle other kids better, even in situations where things feel overwhelming or too noisy. He's also communicating better with his teacher, which is something we struggled with before. Another thing that stood out to me--his pediatrician has always emphasized the importance of nutrition for brain development. This was the first time I was able to see that come together in a structured, real-life way. He has not been formally diagnosed, and we intentionally started with nutrition and lifestyle changes first, which this program helped bring to life. Jacqueline, the director, is amazing. She's supportive, knowledgeable, and gives feedback that actually fits my household and real-life routines, not just generic advice. Ashtyn at the front desk is also wonderful--very personable and great with all the kids. Shout out to the coaches as well--they are patient, engaging, and truly invested in the kids' progress. The whole environment feels welcoming. I'll be honest--the investment can feel high, but seeing the growth in my child, it has been worth it for our family. They also offer different programs, payment plans, and options through the state if your child qualifies. As a Black parent, I also want to say this--getting help for your child should not feel taboo. I'm so glad I moved forward anyway. The growth I've seen in my son has truly surprised me in the best way. We still have more time left in the program, but I'm already grateful for how far he's come--and I would absolutely recommend this to other parents looking for real change.
