If you want to get what you pay for from people who clearly take pride in doing their job well, contract with THI. The quality of the work they did was excellent - better in several cases than we were expecting. The on-site staff were super courteous, obviously loved what they do and care a lot about doing it right. Total Home quotes prices up front and strives to stick to that plan. Our project had some cost changes, but none were really surprises, because we were advised up front of places that things could get more (or less) complicated, and when that did happen, THI always talked with us about how to proceed before making any changes to plan. You have to sign off on contract cost changes. Overall, we love everything they did. We have future remodeling work planned and will absolutely contract with THI for it.

He sent numerous emails about products and materials which helped me finalize my plans. save money=sm. I agreed to remove the paneling=sm. He recommended wainscoting from floor half way up and new drywall the rest. Topnotch Results! I removed 90% of the tile=sm. He recommended waterproof laminate flooring. Very Happy! I installed new vanity, new faucet, 2 new lever door handles, and brushed polished all door hinges=sm. My next door neighbor had some drywall repair done and recommended Huck. I wasn't looking for a large HVAC company as I know those places tend to charge more and I also wanted to give a small business in the area the opportunity. I called in the middle of the afternoon and explained my situation, and within 1 hour Ken was at my house. His daughter was the call taker and she was very polite and professional and passed along to Ken that she felt my situation was urgent, which I appreciated. Ken assessed my situation and determined my furnace (20+ years old and on borrowed time) needed to be replaced and was dangerous to continue to use. He was nothing but nice and professional the entire time but stressed the issue of replacing sooner than later. He recommended I not use the furnace. After being at my home for approximately 1 hour, he was very kind and didn't charge me for the service call but instead deemed the visit a "quote". Now that is something you would never get from a "Big Box" company. The next day he emailed me a quote for a new HVAC system as my A/C was on borrowed time as well. He said he could even do the install with in 5 days (WOW). His quote was very fair and reasonable, however I didn't use his company but this was no fault of his. She claimed she used our money to pay for his medical bills, and was requesting more money from us. We had kitchen cabinets put in through one of her contractors, and now we are stuck with incorrect measurements due to their mistakes. Now her cabinet guy is now coming after us for money she still owes him. We've had to hire a plumber to fix yet again one of their mistakes, due to her worker puncturing a hole in our pipe. We are left with 40% of our project unfinished along with major corrections we now need to fix along the way. We have not been able to get ahold of her, she not answering texts, emails.
