Other jobs were added as "required work" due to unforeseen issues; jobs were paid by us. After a couple of months work was left unfinished by contactor, with exposed electrical wires, and improperly instated fixtures. Months after abandoning the job and numerous complaints contractors showed up a couple of times in 2026 with excuses and promises to finish the job. It is now end of March and we still have open construction with exposed wires, at a point where a complaint with IL Attorney General was filled.

He said the bathroom would take one week to remodel; it took one month. Most of the time he had personal scheduling problem and when he did show up, he was always much later than he said he'd be arriving, then he'd work for a few hours and leave. Some of the work is good but give it time and soon you'll find all the costly mistakes that were made. When he installed my bathtub, he forgot to vacuum the debris out of the plumbing. I haven't been able to use my tub and it's been 4 years. What good is a bathroom when your plumbing is so clogged up by construction debris that you can't use your tub/shower? I also had an attic fan where the switch was located in the bathroom that was being renovated. Robert removed the switched and plastered over the hole. He has cut me off from my attic fan without permission. Robert had suggested I add several pot lights in the ceiling for better lighting. He made the holes for the lights, but I changed my mine. I apologized, but since I had paid for the lights, he's still getting paid for his time. Turns out, he took my pot lights with him. I don't mind paying for his labor, but those lights were included in what I paid, and he took those with him. He was often upset because I chose not to have everything white in my bathroom, well now I know why. I chose a color wall paint and later found out he used a clear caulk for the seam between the walls and the white trim, this means if I paint my walls a different color, you'll see the old color under the clear caulk. I'm going to have to remove all the clear caulk to paint, then re-caulk with a white caulk to match the trim. I would not recommend this company and wish I had not hired them/him. By the way, I don't appreciate that he posted pictures of my bathroom on facebook and had people make positive comments about it like it was their bathroom.

We notified them on 6/12/24, on 6/24 George himself came out to look at the pan and measure the closet to see if a new appropriate drain pan would fit because not all comply with current codes. He ordered the new drain pan, scheduled to have it installed but also commented on the review I left, he asked if he could come by. We said he could come verify our statements when the pan was installed but his team Brian and David were well aware of a number of issues prior to our final payment. Today, August 2nd the new drain pan was installed as George did acknowledge that is the proper installation for the set-up we have. He also reviewed a number of items, offered to fix what he could. While it was a nice offer/gesture, our experience with the team (Brian & David and all the sub contractors) made it impossible for us to accept. George indicated he was not aware and that a number of these items could have easily been punch list items to be taken care, but that option was never given to us. George did in fact reimburse us for a different issue. I'm grateful George stepped in and that he was willing to at least look into it. I'm more grateful he acknowledged and did correct the drain pan and I appreciate his offer to correct what he could. The crew that was here did an excellent job (from what we can tell as of today). It's unfortunate it had to be escalated but I can confidently say, when it was, George did everything he could to get taken care of appropriately. He communicated frequently and everything went very smooth.

The tile and grout was cracking and coming loose. As we went to replace the tile, moisture and mold was found under the tile during demo; the entire sub floor is wet and the whole bathroom has to be pulled up to replace the sub floor. House is only 7 years old. Pretty house, very poor construction. Also when we asked to address some of the really obvious things that were wrong they were very rude to us.

We didn't have to worry about a thing; if an issue came up (as is normal with this scope of work), it was handled right away. Communication was top notch and we couldn't love the final result more! If this had been our first experience, it would have been our last. Frankly, we wouldn't even had made it past the quoting process. His skills were outstanding and he takes pride in his work and customer satisfaction. We added a built in cabinet which opened in the master bedroom and bumped into unused space in a wall in the bathroom. We were quoted a reasonable price and Erik custom built, stained, and installed the unit on site. His skills as a carpenter really shows and my wife is ecstatic with the removable shelves and the new storage space. Thanks to his skills the bathroom came out perfectly.
