They loaded up furniture for donation to Goodwill, assembled a bench for me, and then even went over to my neighbor's home to help move furniture and take her couch to Goodwill as well. This is the absolute worst experience I have ever had with movers. They don't even have their own trucks, and during our dispute I found out they are not even registered with the GA dept. of public safety which by law they are required to be. If I could give them zero stars I would. First of all, the men doing the moving--except for one--were so slow and lazy that my husband basically took over. Their initial quote for a move from Atlanta to Athens was 3400 and then they doubled it, so I ended up paying almost 7k for this move. They never came out to my house to see the inventory, which should've been red flag no. 1. Unfortunately I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Then they made several errors to our bill, broke an outdoor table and ran over our water meter with their truck as they left so that obviously needed to be fixed. Instead of discussing things with me as I continually asked, and adjusting the bill, the office person sent me directly to Levi's claims person who has a website that says she is in Massachusetts. The owner never ever contacted me directly to speak with me and apologize and/or adjust our bill. Instead he reported me to the police and then he took me to small claims court. I continually requested via phone calls and emails that they please contact me to resolve the financial dispute, but all they did was have me communicate with this woman Theresa who is the claims person. She told me I had to pay the full 6600 and then she would discuss adjusting the bill. After all of this I did send the final payment of nearly 7k and the check has not even been cashed. We had a great experience with Levi's Movers. Joy's customer service in helping us get scheduled and set up for move day was impeccable. Then on move day, our movers - Roman, Kieth, Diego, and Zack were excellent. Showed up on time, worked hard, and were very friendly. They did a thorough job deconstructing furniture as needed, wrapping, and moving everything, taking extra care with our valuable items. AVOID. Really bad experience, did costly damage and lied about job end times and trip fee. The guys damaged our floors dragging furniture across them. This was after I asked them multiple times not to drag furniture. It also took these guys and insane amount of time to incorrectly re-assemble two bed frames which they had literal instructions printed out for. The guys left the house/property at 12:23pm and sat outside in the street for 10+ minutes. Office called me at 12:35PM to collect payment. I spoke with Tracy and when I told her they'd already left the house she said they bill up until they're done hauling debris out of the house and when I told her they had not been doing that either she said they bill up until the time when the office calls for payment, i pointed out the time she called me she said she needed to collect payment and was unable to make a changes in the system despite being the manager in charge. Afterwards she said she would speak with Levi and refund me the quarter hour and the trip charge and would call me back. Well I never heard back from them. For the estimate I was quoted $0 trip fee and this was confirmed on the day of service as well by the lead mover. **Response to Owner:** 1. *Estimate:* During my initial sales call with Sarah she gathered information about my move such as: location, floor numbers, distance to elevators, inventory of items, amount of boxes, and distance to the new location. After gathering this information Sarah provided me with an estimated quote of $686 for 4hours to move my items from the information she gathered. She advised that as long as I was packed up and ready to go (which I was) I would likely not go over the estimate provided of $686 for a 4 hour move. She advised that if I did then they charge in 15 minute increments. Levi failed to mention that all of that information is gathered in their estimate however, they still provided an initial reasonable estimate of $686 for 4 hours and instructed the movers of 7 hours to significantly increase costs. 2. *Discount:* Levi failed to mention that after my lamps were unapologetically tossed in a wagon on its lamp shade causing damage to the shade, the company offered $50 off or file a claim. 3. *Supplies:* During my initial call with Sarah, she asked if I would need 2 TV boxes at an additional charge of $45 each (Total:$90) I advised yes. On the day of the move, the movers arrived WITHOUT the TV boxes in a U-Haul truck. When I went to pickup the movers from the loading dock, I noticed that they did NOT bring any TV boxes as guaranteed. Instead we collected a recycled TV box from my apartment complex recycling bin that my neighbor tossed after purchasing their brand new LG TV. I called Sarah the day of the move and advised her of this issue, she apologized and advised she would speak with the movers and a refund would be issued of $90 ($45 per box). I also asked Sarah if there was a charge for wrapping my other TV in a blanket as previously mentioned, TV boxes were NOT provided. She advised that wraps and protection are free. During this call, I also requested an itemized receipt as the mover did not provide one after he left upon my first request for one. After Sarah did not get back with me the day of, I followed up via email the next day regarding the status of my refund and also providing photo proof of this. During my phone call with Levi, I expressed this and he advised that they were processing the refund and I should receive it. Which turned out to be a partial refund of $45, Levi charged for a TV box NOT provided by the company. Additionally, the company advises that TV boxes are required for transportation, not only did they NOT provide TV boxes, one TV was transported WITHOUT a box. Instead of taking accountability and accepting feedback to improve client experiences in the future, Levi would rather lie and continuously deceive to attract customers even though I have proof that this was not provided. 4. *Damage to the Bed:* Sarah requested photo evidence of my bed to determine if they would come out and repair the damage or recommend me to claims. Levi also failed to mention 90 days are given to optionally file a claim for damages. Levi only attempted to "resolve" this situation after I spread awareness of his company's moving scam. Levi's attempt to "resolve" by advising a refund was processed still scammed me out of $45 of $90 for the TV boxes NOT provided and my move cost total. On my initial call with Sarah, she advised any unused materials would be refunded. Not only were the materials unused they were NEVER provided, which also proves that statement to be false. Levi aims to attract customers with their marketing tactic of a perfect "5 star rating"providing reasonable quotes and then significantly increasing costs in the end to amount to 2-3x the amount during a time in people's lives where there are many expenses at hand. Instead of practicing honest business practices this company would rather scam people of their hard earned money. At almost 80 my wife and I decided to downsize. With three furnished floors and just about 5,000 square feet we found a 3 bedroon 2 & 1/2 bath home literally one mile from our home of 20+ years. Levi's Movers is a small local company and I wanted to meet with the owner, Levi, in person. I was very impressed with the young affable owner. Great personality and he made me believe that his company could facilitate an easy one mile move. With a relatively large home as well as a large amount of furniture, and personal items we had contracted to a three day move (pack, load, move and deliver) MISTAKE #1:They arrived on moving day with rental trucks. Levi never explained to me that they did not have their own real moving trucks. When talking with the packers I found out that they were contract packers and not actually full time employees of Levi's Movers. In fact they both worked for major moving companies and hired out at times when they were not packing for one of their nationally recognized companies. MISTAKE #2: We have 3 sets of dishes (we moved our expensive China ourselevs) and several sets of silverware (we moved our Stering Siver ourselves). In addition we have too much of everything (blame my wife) that one finds in a kitchen. WITH I CANNOT REMEMBER HOW MANY BOXES EVERY BOX WAS MARKED AS KITCHEN. Go and try to logically unpack and put away all of that going from a kitchen that seats 8 very comfortably to a kitchen with a bar stool ledge and a dinning room table. Now I will cast blame on my wife. We had an old washer and dryer which we were not going to take with us inasmuch as we had already purhased a new washer dryer. Yet my wife felt that it was wrong to leave two old machines in the laundry room. Levi movers did explain that they preferred not to move washing machines and asked my wife to sign a waiver absolving Levi's of any damages which she did in her stressful state of leaving her home home of 20+years. Unfortunately whomever disconnected the washing machine (and i do not know if that was an employee or another contract worker) did not completely close the valve. The next morning the water leak went from the top floor to the finished bottom floor and caused $2,500 damage. I conceeded to Levi that my wife did sign the waiver and that I agreed he should not be liable. He came and saw the amount of damge and obviously felt bad for us (and I assume disappoined in the person who did not completely close the valve) however he did state to me,and i will paraphrase, let's wait until the move is complete and I will see what I can do. The next issue was the movers deeply scratched our hard wood floors while moving our refrigerator.I am now concrened with the extensive dry wall damage from moving the washing machine to the gouges in the hard wood floor the buyers may exercise their legal right and back out of the sale. I agreed with the buyers to a cash settlement to cover both the dry wall damage and the gauges in the floor. (approx $4-5k) Levi himself came to our home to witness the gauges in our floor. After a $9,000 move, the damage described above, plus other damages Levi Movers actually denied that our floor had been damaged. I arranged for Levi to meet with the new owners. He was gracious enough to do so. The new owner told me that if it came down to it he would testify in s court of law to the floor damage that Levi and his insurance representative continue to deny. (Oh yes, I did pay for some sort of insurance prior to the move). To be fair Thet did reimburse us $1400. Think twice before chosing Levi Movers. read more

The worst moving company I have ever used. Highly advise to stay away and use someone else!!!

RIP OFF. Arrived late. WORSE MOVING EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. Mover was VAPING. Another guy used my bathroom and I walked in on him POOPING, pants down! Was glad I was moving because there's no way I was going to use that toilet again. Price was not worth the headache When I told Levi about the mover pooping in my bathroom On the clock. He said, Where was he supposed to go? The guys seemed high, like they didn't know how to arrange furniture. I moved from a small space and it took them several hours. My neighbor helped them put my sofa in the truck. Levi authorized an "elevator error charge" but coded it to reflect as a credit. This was an inflated arbitrary credit he thought would suffice. l Regret not reviewing the BBB at first. Levi's is not accredited. And the only way to receive a receipt is to Request it. Why did it take a week for me to get it? Well he said I had to ask for it. UNPrOFESSiONAl. InEpt Movers. The last moving company moved me in 3 hours. But this one took several hours and I had to continually call to obtain some type of resolve. Don't be swayed by the family mission. It is a fallacy. Wished I had ignored that claim and kept scrolling. Don't waste your money. BUYER BEWARE. If you find it acceptable for movers to defecate in your home , VAPE while moving your furniture, mover asking to use my Charger to charge his phone and movers disappearing and Moving at a snails pace then this company may work for you. Thanks to Levi's Neighborhood Movers, I no longer dread moving. Levi (pronounced "LAY-vee," not like your favorite jeans) and his dad, Jan, have changed my outlook. In the past two months they've helped me with multiple short haul moves related to my new business' live/work space. Communication has been excellent without fail. Amazing service! The guys were on time, professional, and efficient finishing our move in a decent time. They were courteous towards us and our belongings. Everything that needed to be wrapped was properly done which helped protect all our belongings (compared to our last movers who scratched up surfaces, broke mirrors, etc). Levi called the day before to confirm our appointment which made us more relaxed (we've all read horror stories on reviews where movers don't show up).
